EPISODE 1

Sin checked his watch; it was just after midnight. He said to himself, "This job is a hit."

They all appeared set and ready for the job as he turned to gaze at the boys in the truck's back. He enjoyed being in charge of his work.

Hey Sy, I don't want any mistakes on this job, you hear? He called to the man standing next to him. He gave an order.

Sure Sin, don't worry, everything will work out as expected.

A brand-new Jeep drove through the gate in front of them five minutes later.

"Now ! " Sin charged, the truck's driver turned on the ignition, and the vehicle sped up. Sin and the group leaped from the truck, and Sy and five other guys sprinted as quickly as they could to the front of the mansion before the gate could close and the Jeep's driver noticed what was going on.

After waiting for five minutes, they returned with two enormous generator sets that could power the entire sector.

Sin ordered them to run to the truck while letting go of the trembling jeep driver. To get him to stop talking, Sin brandished a gun at him.

He threatened him, "If you make a sound even as low as a whimper, I will blow your head off.

The mansion's owner, a wealthy businessman, complied with the directive.

"Come on, lads! As the boys completed loading the generator units, Sin yelled. They accelerated off the road and vanished into the darkness as he began the Jeep.

When the man finally located his phone back at the mansion and dialed 991-while still trembling-Sin and his crew had already left.

The security man emerged from his hiding place and sprinted toward his Boss

Are you okay, sir? he questioned.

The man gave him a glance "You're fired! foolish guard. How are you sleeping there when you should be attentive and calling the police to report the armed robbers? You moron, didn't you hear the gate open?" He exploded in anger.

He continued, "Get out of my sight you coward.

When the security guard turned to leave and moved away from his boss, he grinned and shrugged. He had done his part by providing information to Sin about the mansion and his boss, and he knew that later that day, he would be paid his cut, which was 20 times what his stupid boss had been paying him.

Later, the police showed up and questioned the guard before the still-shocked owner of the estate described what had happened to him.

"Are you able to identify any of the thieves?" The policeman questioned him.

No, it was too dark for me to see clearly, and that guy was pointing a gun at my head, so I was unable to look up.

"Don't worry, sir; we'll do all in our power to discover them."

Being a well-known politician and businessman in Lusada, he had faith that the police would use every effort to track down the criminals.

One hour and thirty minutes later, Sin and the group had reached their hiding place, where they had placed their stolen goods and were getting them ready for sale.

He parked the Jeep inside the large warehouse and began to examine it while beaming to himself.

He was aware that his work that evening would bring in millions, and that the Jeep and generator sets would fetch a high price.

He informed his workers, "Well done boys. You were outstanding tonight. Let's go home. To Sy, his right hand guy, he said, "Lock the building."

The underground storehouse was located roughly 100 kilometers from Kuwa town. That location was in the middle of a dense forest, making it impossible for anyone to find, not even the police. The only nearby residents were around 30 kilometers away.

Sin sat behind the wheel.

He said to the previous driver of the circuit, "I will drive.

It was already 4:00 am as Sin looked at his watch once more. Before starting his car, he took another drag. As he drove, he used one hand to hold the steering.

His nickname, "Sin," came from the second job he quit approximately ten years prior, when he was still just one of the lads working for his master Chill.

Although Dave Roberts is his real name, he preferred Sin. His mother was a destitute widow whose husband passed away when Sin was 12 years old, and the name constantly brought back memories of the time he had raped a little girl.

Sin had witnessed his father's relatives rob them of everything, including the house they were living in.

He tried applying for bursaries but nothing worked for him , it seemed the issue of bursary in the universities wasn't meant for the poor after all.

Sin was in desperate need of work to support his mother, but he had trouble finding anything in Kuwa. It was at this time that he met Sy, a friend from grade nine.

Sy, who lacked Dave's intelligence, dropped out of grade 9 and joined Chill's crew of criminals. He was the one who introduced Dave, who is now Sin, to the company.

Dave was the one who planned the majority of the robberies, and whatever he planned, most often succeeded. Chill realized how smart and cunning Dave was and decided to use him.

At first, it was just a matter of gathering data on a few people and businesses, but as time went on, Dave got more and more involved, especially as the money started coming in.

After working with Chill for five years, Sin decided to start his own group and pursue his own interests. Chill initially objected, but Sin promised to give him a compliment of 10% of the proceeds from his jobs in exchange for respecting him as the head Mafia of Kuwa town.

Now that it has been 8 years, he has been working with his own crew. Sy even decided to join him after realizing that Sin was completing jobs more effectively than Chill. Sin had increased the size of his jurisdiction and worked primarily from Lusada and the Copperbelt.

Sin had gained the trust and respect of many in his circle after leaving the small Kuwa town to Chill, who was now less wealthy. He constructed a large home for himself in Copperbelt Extension, where just mentioning his name would actually result in everyone bowing down.

Sin didn't want to endanger his mother's life, so instead of living with her, he bought her a two-bedroom house in Georgia. She wasn't sure about her son's job, but Sin assured her he was working as an agent for the company that paid them well. Instinctively, she doubted his son's honesty, but she accepted that her new life was better than her previous one.

Sy's shout of "Hey man!" brought Sin back to the present.

"Let's drop the boys off first, then we can go home."

He said, pulling to the side, "Oh yeah sure!" The boys leaped out at the banker's nest and took up residence in nearby polluted flats.

The positive aspect of their supervisor was that. He was always concerned with everyone's comfort.

The guard heard the car engine as Sin and Sy were driving to Sin's house, and he quickly hurried to open the gate.

He met Sin as she dropped the window to say "morning boss."

Sin returned the greeting and gave him some money, telling him to "get some food for your kids."

As he ran for the gate, he exclaimed, "Thank you, boss.

Sin and Sy discussed how they would purge the items from the house.

In the meantime, I'm meeting the buyer for the other cars we just finished painting and registering, and the guy is promising a good cut. We'll wait for three months until these officers are sick of doing their jobs, at which point we'll find some customers.

well .." Sighing, Sy got up.

Sin had a brief bath before getting in his BMW and driving off since he had someone to visit.

Melissa's shift ended at 7 hours but she decided to cover for her friend May who was delayed with some issues at home.

To fill in for her for the next ten hours, she contacted Melissa.

She needed to come home as quickly as possible to relax before starting her next shift because she was exhausted.

May arrived at 10 as promised, and Melissa went straight to her car, getting the keys out of her bag and opening the door.

She joined the road from the Vatican clinic as she played Don Moen's collection while humming the song, unaware that Sin was watching her movements from a distance.

She glanced in the side mirror and saw a BMW, but she continued to drive.

She had bought a house in railways however, instead of going straight home, she decided to get her son something from A shopping mall before going home.

After quickly picking what she wanted she saw the same BMW she had seen earlier in the side mirror parked on the opposite road.

She looked closely in the hope of seeing the driver, something told her the person could be following her but the Windows to the BMW were tinted and shut . Shrugging , she decided to drive off, rubbing off the thought of being stalked. She drove home.

Sin watched her as she went into her house , he noticed the woman might suspect being followed so he decided to keep a distance as followed her.

He grinned to himself when he watched the boy embrace the woman at the entrance. He adored children, especially boys, but he was unwilling to take the risk of becoming a parent.

His employment was too dangerous; no matter what happened, his family might be the target of his adversaries or the authorities. He briefly continued to observe Melissa's home before accelerating away.

He muttered to himself, "See you later, woman."
