They loved each other deeply. She is from nowhere, a new discovered hybrid. Can Veronica survived the new world she will face?

Chapter 1 1

"Goodbye, mama! I will see you later, after the class! When I held Mother Rosita's hand and brought it to my forehead, I smiled enthusiastically at her. This gesture is a symbol of respect for the old in our culture.

Please make sure you take care of yourself, hija. "Stop making such a fuss," Mother Rosita said, maintaining eye contact with me.

What uproars are these? I have a good reputation! A chuckle sprang from within me. Despite the fact that Mother Rosita continued to squint her eyes at me, she matched them with her two fingers as if she were saying, "I'm watching you," which caused me to feel a little amount of fear. It is safe to assume that she is keeping her "eyes" on me while she does that. Then, with a little nod, I straightened my stance and returned her gaze. "Yes, there is no way, Mom. I'll see you shortly!

Despite the fact that our home was only a few blocks away from the school, I would always run to get there first thing in the morning. Not only do I reside in close proximity to` but I consistently arrive late to class. To answer your question, our family is always quite busy in the morning making the things that we sell at our store. Additionally, as our place of residence, our house also functions as a store where we sell rice sacks that are sourced directly from the farms owned by our mother and father. Not wealthy or impoverished, we are members of the middle class. It is sufficient for us to eat three times a day thanks to our business.

When Larry, our school guard, growled at me, I grinned at him and responded with a smile. For some reason, he is already familiar with me because I am notorious for arriving late. Furthermore, he is a close buddy of Basilio, who is my father.

I made a hasty exit in order to get to my building within the university. When the mean girls are not around, the hallways of Arnault University are a calm and quiet place for me to walk. They are the primary force behind my decision to arrive late to school; I must steer clear of them in order to keep the tranquillity that I have in the morning.

As soon as I walked into the room, my eyes were once again focused on me. Summer let out a sigh of dissatisfaction; she is quite possibly the only friend I have on this campus. Despite the fact that she is aware of the valid reason why I am consistently late, she just told me not to worry about them, as if I were capable of doing so. The fact that they are able to harass me on a daily basis is a source of pleasure for those who are constantly being cruel to me.

I took a seat next to Summer and reached beneath the table to retrieve my books. After a few minutes had passed, our first instructor of the course came into the classroom. Today, Mrs. Bartolome appears to be in a poor mood, and her aura seems to be more terrifying than it was yesterday.

"Listen, you troublemaker!" I was the target of Mrs. Bartolome's yelling, which she directed at me.

The words that she spoke caused my eyes to widen. When I was in a state of shock, I placed my left palm on my chest and pointed my right forefinger at myself to make sure that she was indeed referring to me. I could tell that it was me since she let out a sigh.

"Damn, what have I done this time?" Then I mumbled.

Come with me to the office, will you? Dear Ms. Dy, you have a great deal of explaining to do with me! Hysterically, Mrs. Bartolome barked.

Immediately after she left the room, I hurriedly followed her out of the room. Before I spotted Satania and her goons standing next to the women's restroom, I was perplexed and unsure of what the hell was going on.

I knew that they were going to frame me once more, so I sneered at them. My middle finger was elevated, and I licked the top of my lip with those fingers. I did the same thing with my eyebrows, which was to wiggle them. Satania was taken aback by my antics; that snob was becoming increasingly enraged.

Having stopped caring for Satania, I followed Mrs. Bartolome into the Dean's Office. I was no longer concerned about her. The Dean of our institution lifted her eyebrows as I sat down in front of her.

Mrs. Badelles, who serves as the Dean of Arnault University, reached inside her desk and took something out. The sight of a condom with a letter that said, "Call 911 for me, Argentina xoxo -Veronica" caused my eyes to widen.

My entire body was filled with anger. I could feel my hands shaking as a result of what they had done. In spite of the fact that they accuse me of doing terrible things on a regular basis, this one has gone too far. Someone ought to be aware of their limits! When you mess with me, you are saying goodbye to them. It is my intention to throw bubble gum at those scumbags.

"Mrs. Badelles, that should not have been me! Satania is always trying to frame me, don't you know that? I yelled.

Ms. Dy, please lower the volume of your voice. "You are audible to me," Mrs. Badelles stated in a composed manner.

To my great relief, I was able to bring myself under control. Despite this, I have a solid desire to torment Satania and her henchmen. If I could get my hands on their heads, I would shave off all of their hair. This may cause them to feel less proud.

"That's not me," I said in a tone that was lacking in depth.

Due to the tone that I used, Mrs. Badelles and Mrs. Bartolome both let out a sigh. What exactly did I go wrong?

Ms. Dy, you have been given a suspension that will last for an entire week. The post was something that Mrs Argentina saw on Facebook.

I am not to blame for this at all! In spite of the fact that his mother may have seen that post, you are fully aware that it is not my fault! Not me, but Satania and her friends should be suspended instead! I yelled.

"Ms. Dy, they have evidence," she said. That is something that we are unable to remedy.

Forget about this life! Let's break your rules! I yelled.

I was jolted awake by the abrupt outburst of rage that I experienced. My professor of General Biology and the Dean were both present when I said swear. What should I be doing?

"You are suspended for a whole month!" Mrs Giovanni yelled hysterically.

Shame began to permeate my body, and tears started to form in my eyes. As I dashed out of the Dean's office, I did not turn around to look back. Despite the fact that I was able to hear Satania's inaudible ranting, I continued to run until I reached the entrance of the institution.

I was able to get away from Larry and run as close to the speed limit as I could. I halted at a deserted, narrow street that was clogged with foul-smelling garbage. As soon as I realized something, I wiped away my tears and then went back to crying. Not only do I not deserve this, but I also do not deserve the humiliation that I am currently experiencing from everyone.

The huge brat is here, so take a look at him. Have you finished rearranging your life? The man said, "Allow me to bother you even more."

I immediately raised my head to look at the man, but my eyes widened as I recognized who it was. I was surprised by your reaction. Not only is that damn Argentina present, but he is also wielding a knife. During the time that he was walking towards me, my mind was racing with a variety of different things. What should I do in this situation? Either fight or flight?

I made the decision to flee shortly after he began running at me. I hurried back to the highway as quickly as I could in order to locate some assistance, any assistance that would be able to assist me in extending this unfortunate existence of mine. On the other hand, I may be playing a game called Life, which is not very lucky. I was able to make it to the highway despite the fact that it was already too late when my mind recognized the loud honk of the large truck that was heading in my direction. My entire body was assaulted before I even had the chance to react suitably.

Due to the force of the impact, my body was propelled a few meters away. Although I was still alive, I was experiencing pain throughout my entire body. Because the pain was so intense, I was no longer able to feel my bottom half. It was unclear to me if the substance that I spit out of my mouth was simply blood or whether it was already one of my organs. Just before I passed away, I smiled. On my deathbed, I can't believe I'm still making jokes about my situation.

Things started to go hazy, and the last thing I noticed were lights from cameras; people were already snapping pictures of my terrible body rather than assisting me through this challenging situation. Poor me, I am a flawed human being. Those who committed sin became the law, and mankind was reduced to nothing.
