Andy was a 18 years girl who had just finished school and couldn't continue her studies which ended up being an advantage . She unexpectedly finds love and a career at the same time . "Mama , Mama " I call out , silence strikes
I've been calling out her name and she's not answering , I swear if I got important stuff to tell her ,I can't get hold of her . I head towards her room and I hear laughter and giggles. " There she is " , I say to myself. " Mama I've been looking for you everywhere I got very good news for you my darling " , i say with a huge grin on my face.
My little sister Lindokuhle but we call her Lindo rolls her eyes , " you always have good news everyday Andy", she spits. " Yes but this time the news are legit I tell you my little one" , I add as she rolls her eyes again.
" What's popping today any luck with finding a job sweety" , my mom asks.
" Yes " ,I jump onto the bed a smile creeps in " I got a job Mama finally" my mom closes her eyes and sings praises even Lindo is jumping up and down
"Yes!!!" ,says Lindo "now you can buy me stuff because you have a job and also buy a car okay and make it pink " we all giggle . I've been looking for a job since I got my matric results and the search didn't seem to come to an end , I'm not gonna say I passed my matric with flying colours all I can say is that school is not for everyone and the fact that I hated school made it even easier for me to fail , anyways I got a job as a "Sale Agent" the place is very far from my house , i even got accommodation near my job so what's left is for me to pack the little clothes I have and move to the place . I actually thought my mom was gonna give me problems when I told her I'd be moving out but she didn't , she went ahead and even helped me pack my belongings . People change , if I had asked to move a month ago she would have even locked me in the house forever . I'm unpacking my clothes in this new place I have got , it's not fancy not gonna lie , it's just a one bedroom apartment, it has a small kitchen it's hard to even move , a bathroom and a sitting room with one couch and a small TV , well I can't complain! It's not like I come from a better place , I'm going to start working tomorrow, well not start working but start my training . I'm so excited I don't even want to lie . School was never my thing and I can't picture myself going to college so this is a great opportunity to excell and never go to college
I prepare noodles I can't cook honestly and I don't know how I'll survive I dish up and help myself it's been a long day of cleaning , packing , and preparing for the big day tomorrow. Just as I was about to get to bed a knock on the door surprises me , I mean I haven't made any friend here who could knock on my door at 9:45 it's so late . Fear kicks in and I'm thinking its a goon , my mind tells me grab a knife just in case and I do so . I walk to the door slowly and the knocking doesn't end , I take a deep breath and open the door slowly. A tall dark man with a poker face appears on my door and hurriedly walks towards me with a straight face my toxic trait tells me yep it's a goon , without thinking twice I stab the man just on his left hand and he cries out in pain . " What the F woman" he shouts " I just came to welcome you bloody shit " he spits . Just then I realise I had stabbed the wrong person . "I'm so-soory , I didn't me to iiii" I try speaking " take me to the hospitality now before I die dammit " . I had seen the hospital when coming here it was far and needed a taxi to get the and I didn't have money to get there . " I don't have money to request a taxi sir" I say feeling a little embarassed . " Ahhhh come on , okay let's go fast I'm losing blood here " he says walking out and I follow him to a car which was a BMW X5. I'm thinking how is he going to drive and why is he tagging me along in a while he was out of the ward and it seemed to take long . He comes and sits besides me with a very serious look in his face he stares at me for like 2 minutes which felts like an hour and finally he lets out a sigh " wow little girl , I come at your house to welcome you to our neighborhood and you stab me with a knife , how toxic are you ?
