"And what about me?" I cried in front of him. "Aren't you going to ask if I'm okay?"

"This is not about you! Don't make a scene here and play a victim! You hurt her! She was rushed to the hospital because of you? Because of what? Huh?! You were jealous of her?! That's why you pushed her down the stairs?! "

And God knows the reason that I didn't leave you because I loved you..... You didn't see it because you only care about her. Fuck you! I am your girlfriend!" I cry. So much that I can't even breathe normally.

"I . Am. Your. Girlfriend!." I say it again. I can't be hurt by everything he makes me feel.

"Why do I feel like I'm the one who shares your love?" I asked weakly.

My eyes turn sleepy. My vision blurred, I continued to struggle to breathe, and there! The surroundings are already dark.

Sky Amaris Valdez POV

Luck.

"Here!" Out of breath, I reached my brother with a weight of water to sprinkle the plant that mom planted while he was there with Papa having coffee and laughing.

"Make sure the plant doesn't drown, sky ha!" My mom shouted. I laughed at them.

"Don't worry, Mom. Kion knows this." I looked at them and glanced at my brother's angry face.

"I don't know how it will be done, sister! Why don't you stop and give it to Nanny?" His brows furrowed.

I moved the big burn while supporting you. I can't stand it either.

"Don't complain, Yaya yolly and Nana len are working too much. You should know at least do some chores." He only bothered me and took a broom.

I smiled at my lovely brother, grumpy and stubborn but obedient.

My life was perfect now, I don't really wish for anything more than this.

But it's not.

I was in a second year of college when my parents got into a car accident. They're comatose for several weeks until now.

I don't know how to start.

My brother stopped on his studies in senior high just to make sure I graduate first, he managed our business while I'm studying and helping him.

I'm in a meeting right with my brother kion, with the board member.

I could see their boredom while we were there.

"I don't think the youngest Valdez, can handle this. It's only a few years old and it's not obvious that he can handle this huge responsibility as the leader of a company. Shouldn't we have a new successor until Mr, Valdez wakes up? ?" One of the board member suggestions.

"I highly doubt that, this business owned by my father! I can't let it be given away and just look for a replacement just because he can't take over, I know my brother is still young but he will be the acting president of this company while I haven't been able to then, in the mean time, my brother will be your new president, I'll help him and guide him, how to manage this and I hope you'll help us too. It's hard but I hope you can help me."

The senior old lady smiled at me, "Don't worry, hija."

"If I can't do this, I'll let my sister take this responsibility. I have my own dreams but this is urgent and I don't think I can't manage this, it's just a first step, if I failed I'll take that as a lesson, please trust me, I'll do everything. I'll promise." Tears almost filled my eyes while listening to what my brother was saying.

It's a hectic weekend.

My brother and I hardly see each other anymore because he is in the US for business abroad and that's when dad checks up on our parent's while I'm here in Manila burning my eyebrows.

Our mansion filled with so much loneliness. I could barely glance at the garden where we used to hang out every weekend. The plants between the fountains are wilting. Maybe it wasn't taken care of well.

Kion almost sent me the reports.

I sat in the chair provided for me while studying the reports. There is no prof today because this time is vacant and it is almost two hours so it is not that noisy, others like students are outside doing various things or finishing the allotted time for projects so the whole classroom is quiet.

"Aren't you tired after that?" I almost screamed when someone suddenly spoke behind me while looking at my laptop.

It's Lucas.

I removed the glasses just to protect against the radiation caused by the laptop and looked at him carefully.

"It's necessary"

"I'm the one who gets tired for you." He said. I watched him carefully. He has this kind of angelic face. His thick eyebrows and brown eyes, pointed nose and clean cut hair, he looks like a model to me. Tall and not so dark and not so White.

I swallowed hard and laughed softly. "That's right, I'm young and the responsibility I'm facing is big.

He raised an eyebrow. "Too bad, if you want let's get married, so you can escape your responsibility." His playful tone did not escape.

I laughed mockingly. "Don't joke kid, I know what kind of person you are"

"Sorry," he laughed. "It's bad to always have your eyes soaked in gadgets, loosened up, you're still young." He said and smiled.

"I need to review the reports so..." I said slowly.

He smiled at me, his eyes twinkled. "Don't pressure yourself, okay?" He said before leaving the classroom.

I sighed and looked at my laptop. I typed a few before turning it off.

It's two o'clock. And I haven't eaten anything yet. I still have an hour to eat.

I left the classroom, it's gay! I was just talking to surrounded by a few women and men who are probably the same age as him. It's like the center of attraction because when he starts talking, everyone laughs.

How I wish I could be that easy.

They stopped laughing when Lucas turned, he winked at me, he smiled, I winked again. I looked away and sighed.

Before I continued walking, I heard the laughter there again, I just didn't know what it was.

I bought food and decided not to eat there.

The plants in the side row trees are beautiful to look at. The dry leaves where I was sitting scattered

Windy, quiet and peaceful. There I put down my bought food, the bag on the side and the laptop next to the food.

I tipped there again while slowly eating.

Minutes after I successfully finished the report, I smiled at my accomplishments.

"Is that done?" I almost screamed again because of that low voice.

I responded with a small smile and shook my head. "No, not really."

"When are we going to see Abby, the kid misses you" he frowned. "I don't understand this!" I looked at the laptop where his eyes were focused.

I shook my head and laughed softly. "You don't really understand that, this is not a project nor a lecture tho."

I said Turn off the laptop and put it in the bag.
