Not until this magnetic big deep voice broke the ice after half a day, Xu Mochou wasn't prepared to abort her big innocent eyes from the man's captivating face.

"Were you really going to eat this?" His voice was covered in frost but there was a hint of pity crawling out his almond-shaped eyes. Without giving Xu Mochou the chance to answer, Wang Lei continued calmly waving the plastic bag in the air, "There's mold growing on the bread, and it smells awful. Don't eat it, alright? You'll get sick."

"Who said I was going to eat that?" Xu Mochou lied through the crack of her sparkling white teeth without flinching. "I…I was just looking at it to study how fast it decomposes. I deliberately exposed it to moisture and warmth to allow mold spores, which are microscopic fungi, to grow on the bread. How could that be healthy to eat?" She angrily shouted as if she had been wronged badly.

After glaring at the man for like three seconds, Xu Mochou quickly lowered her head in shame, her moist eyes wandering around aimlessly.

He raised his perfectly carved brow before saying teasingly, "Forgive me, little Miss, I thought you were going to eat the stale bread."

Xu Mochou's face turned red with fury and embarrassment.

She was so ashamed that she couldn't speak. Guilt, shame and sadness was all over her small body.
