Hi. Just wondering if anyone has put their work up on MoboReader and if so, how did it work out for you? I understand they pay 50% of my book price. Got an email from them asking if I would be interested in allowing them sell my books. I've never heard of them and the site is a bit skimpy on details.
I'm here four years later as one of the writers being scouted. I'm not sure if we're talking about the same app, but I'm assuming it is. Just don't do it. They pay their writers so poorly, not gonna lie. And I didn't sign the contract not because of the money, but because of how shitty the scout's attitude was. If they can be so economical with their information, even after four years later, I don't think it's a good idea. I genuinely hope that you didn't sign anything with them. Seeing as their attitude towards writers they're trying to make offers with, I can't imagine what would happen if anyone decides to work with them.
