Unexpected mistake

"Helena!!! OMG this girl always giving me an headache,Helena!!!"

"Well well, If it's not Mrs.Casper calling me again."(murmur)

This has been my life for five years now since I left Conton City my hometown it was a wonderful place, but it was full of many bad memories. I used to stay there with my family or should I say my enemies.

My family tried to sell me, but I escaped being saved by a man which face I don't remember. This man took my virginity and gave me one of the most wonderful gifts, I would have never dreamt of.

Back to my family I haven't heard a thing from them it's been years. I bear no hatred for them in my heart but I don't want too ever see them again.

"Oh sorry, Mrs Casper I was a little distracted" Helena said.

"Please try and concentrate, we have a project at hand, check into these documents and submit them before tomorrow,

"Yes, ma'am" Helena said.

Helena left Conton city after her stepmother and her stepsister set her up and her father has been a cruel man from the start hated her mom because she got pregnant and pinned the child on him. Her mother died when she was 12years old so she had no other option than to move into her dad's house.

Her father Antonio Laurent wasn't so happy but took her in. From that day onward Helena knew no peace.

Her Stepsister Laura Laurent hated her because her mom Daniella Laurent always reminded her that Helena was beneath her so she treated Helena like her servant.

Helena on the other hand treated them with so much kindness in hope for their reciprocated love but she never found it.

After 7 years when Helena became 19 years old and Laura 16 years old. They planned a family dinner in which they planned to sell Helena.

Helena not being aware of the faith that will befall her went to that family dinner in a restaurant .

Her father planned to sell her to a man in his 60s Pietro Maximillian.

Pietro was known to be a very wicked and heartless man.

Her father traded her like a piece of meat.

Helena coming back from the bathroom heard them talking about selling her and ran away into a stranger room in the dark she couldn't see neither picture this strangers face but it turned into a night filled with passion.

Helena woke up the next morning, but found out the stranger had left she picked up her clothes feeling ashamed of herself but also proud that she escaped out of the hands of those she call family friends.

Helena started living with her friend and threw her phone away. So that her family couldn't reach her.

After 2 months she found out she was pregnant with twins devastated she left the hospital.

And decided to leave the city. Little did she

know the Luck that befell her.

Helena had made a name for herself in Forestmore city.

On coming back home Helena's two bundle of joy came running Liam and Lily.

"Mummy,Mummy"they both screamed.

"Oh, who do we have here? Aren't those my little sunshines?"

"Mummy we went on a nice trip today"

"I know"

"And we saw different animals?"

"Why don't you both wait, after dinner you tell me everything?" Helena inquired.

Helena made dinner and they all sat and ate

after dinner Lily was the first too speak

"Mum could you believe we say a gorilla?"

" Woah,And how did the Gorilla look like?"

Helena asked.

"It looked big and had black fur"Liam said.

After telling their mum the story of their day in the Zoo.

There went to bed,Helena caressed their hair saying "You both her so beautiful, I wish I could give you a complete family"

Liam and Lily were indeed very fine children.

They were the splitting image of their father. The only thing they gained from Helena were the hazel eyes.

Helena children were her world, her world practically revolved around them.

Those children were the only family she knew

because even though she lived with her mum before her death.

Her mum never showed her any love. Her mum hated her calling her bad luck.

Helena asked herself everyday why bring her into this world if she hated her so much.

After everything that has happened in her life. After the way both her parents treated her. Helena vowed to herself to show and shower her children with so much love.

After putting her kids to bed. Helena went back to her study and continued with work before her friend Leslie back in Conton city ringed her phone.

"Hey, my cotton bear" Leslie said.

"Hey, my little rabbit" Helena replied.

"So, how are you doing?" Leslie asked

"Good, and you?"Helena replied.

"Fine, so Helena I know have bugged you with this topic a lot of times, but don't you think is time you d get into a relationship again?"

"Leslie, please am done with this, you know how my last relationship ended.

Should I remind you how Carl hated my kids and treated them so poorly."

"Helena, come on give it one more try, am your friend and I want what's best for you"

" Leslie I will not dwell on this matter anymore, if you want what's best for me then please accept the fact that I will not put my children in pain again"

"Okay, no problem if you say so"

" So Leslie how is Sam doing?"

"I don't know and I don't care to know, we broke up"

" Leslie, what happened?"

" He cheated, and before you ask, I don't want to talk about it"

" So sorry Leslie"

"Leslie, could we talk some other time am really busy today"

After hanging up the phone Helena finished her workload and went to bed.

Not knowing what awaited her the next day.
