Joselyn Floree, a young girl living an average life soon stumbles upon life odds. She made a deal. She had to keep her mouth shut. But is silence the best answer? *** All rights reserved.
Quote for the chapter: You never understand it until you experience it.

I hate Thursdays.
Matter of fact, I hate all school days.
We're already subjected to such tortures and yet we haven't grown up yet.
Highschool is like a community where only the survivors triumph.
Survivors like Candy Prescott and her group of morons or Dean Staleer and his bunch of fools.
They come out of highschool unscathed maybe because they're already ruined and useless.
The point is instead of participating in classic highschool cliques, you can be a founder of your own clique.
Like me, Jocelyn Flores, founder of the Ignorant club.
We're a group of teenagers who watch from the sidelines and are quite content with whatever gossip we hear.
I could already hear the altercations few lockers away from mine before even seeing it.
People began chanting, already forming a crowd around the fools who were busy being foolish on the floor.
I used the distraction to get my math notes from my locker before heading to my first class.
The bell hasn't even rung and people were already being foolishly stupid on an early Thursday morning.
Ignorance is Bliss.
That statement hasn't sounded better now.
I got to class and sat on the chair by the window in the middle row of the class.
A few of my club members were already present making a smile to appear on my face.
At least our generation isn't ruined yet.
The bell rang and a few students began to run into the class causing me to roll my eyes.
Bunch of idiots.

Lunch time finally.
I sat on an empty table immediately bringing out my lunch.
Jackie, my younger sister, slammed her bag on the table causing me to roll my eyes.
"I can't believe that bastard, Sam" Jackie raged pulling a similar lunch out of her bag.
"Hey baby sis 1. Hey baby sis 2. How are y'all doing?" My older brother, Jason said before sitting at the table.
Jackie glared at him before taking a chunk out of her chicken sandwich.
Jason laughed, "Let me guess, Sam is still trying hard to get into your dirty pants"
"Aren't you supposed to be the overprotective older brother? You know chasing away every boy or man that comes my way" Jackie said making Jason scoff.
"I've got no time for that shit. Cover for me tonight" Jason said before handing her a hundred bucks.
"Yeah sure. Whatever" Jackie said making Jason leave the table.
"See ya" Jason waved before heading over to the seniors table in the middle of the cafeteria.
I chugged down my water before packing up my bag.
"I'm going to the library so don't wait after school for me" I said standing up.
"Yeah, yeah" Jackie waved me off making me roll my eyes again.
At this rate, my eyes would probably get stuck at the back of my head.
I dumped my leftovers in the cafeteria trash can before heading to my next class.
My ignorant nature wasn't limited to just high school.
Being the middle child meant I was ignored most of the time so it barely made any difference to me when my siblings had some sort of connection going on between them.
They stayed out of my way and I stayed out of theirs.
Especially since we're a year apart from each other.
The bell rang causing me to walk to my class.
A year and a half left and I'll be out of highschool for life.
Shit, I can't wait.
