CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

Life is vigorous and vital like an intense of love. Believe it or not, I agreed it just happens. And it is not something that goes with diction. Impetuously, I retained my life as a myth. Many things has happened as l ever predict in my real life. My real name is Sia Musk, a German citizen. I am a young lady of 26 years, a cheerful, resilient and adorable. I have a close fellow who's so quiet, strong and trustworthiness. That's my real best friend and prosperously my great consort, Rexim Leir whom we had a promise to cohabit and thrive, always. I also remembered you uncle Rous Andy, a nice man also. He's a build fair man, and not handsome. With the friend I got, Foris Crum who is uncle Rous's younger brother and the progenitor of my my first son, Snaz. I will never forget you Clari Sen, my good friend and somehow like a sister to me. We are of the same age yet with different destinies. Amongst all those people I have mentioned above, Rexim Leir is the greatest, and then Clari, a great lady who can spare her dine for me and rest my soul in peace. My life was blessed prosperously by my parents and people so I have never missed the right target. It was your words I hold in my heart, the promise we took for each other which I have fulfilled although I don't think it's enough. I really missed you Rexim Leir. Thus, whenever you missed me, look at our daughter's eyes and remember my dreams to shone your intensity.

It was Rexim, remembering the words of his lovely wife, Sia as he was running, performing exercises in the middle of the road. The road was empty, except for the people carrying out their activities and the children that were playing. Rexim was wearing a white T-shirt with blue-color jeans. Soon he reached his home. He removed some keys from his jeans's pocket and opened the padlock before he enter. It was a small, pretty girl of six years, Meil running to him. And she embraced him with smiled on her cute face.

"Thank you dearest. How are you?" He asked as he lift her up and espouse her in his arms.

"I am fine father" answered Meil.

"Good. Where's your Sima?" He asked.

And Meil laughed. As Rexim dropped her down on her feet. "She was inside, busy with the cooking".

"Is the food not ready yet?" He asked again.

And Meil responded, "let's go inside father. Then you will see which kind of food she's cooking for us" and she dragged his hands inside.

While in the kitchen, Sima is almost done with the cooking. She was washing the place with soap and sponges. Shortly she heard a sounds of footsteps as she turned to the door entrance. She smiled cutely, seeing Meil with Rexim. Then she respectively greets him, "good morning Sir".

"Good morning Sima. How is work?" Asked Rexim elegantly before they entered inside.

"Everything is fine Sir. I have prepared fried chicken and mashed potatoes, a fried toast and eggs, a bread and butter, boiled milk for madam Meil, boiled vegetables and tea. And the last thing I am going to make now is some fresh fruit juices. Then after that I will clear the table", explained Sima gently.

And Rexim gave a toy cube to Meil. "That's perfect. Good work ma'am Sima. Now before the food is ready, let daddy went to his room for a short while, okay" and he slightly knocked his head to Meil's.

"Okay father" answered Meil, still playing with the cube.

And Rexim walked out to his room. He swiftly looked at the clock on the wall_ it's almost 7:00 am. Thereby, he walked in the bathroom. Within 15 minutes, Rexim came out of the bathroom rubbing his hair with a blue towel. Then he walked to the white cupboard beside the bed and opened it. There are different kinds of men wears in it and he picked out a purple coat with light-color t-shirt. Thereby he move to the mirror to prepare himself.

Meil was helping Sima, washing the dishes while Sima was gently preparing the juices in a beautiful yellow jug.

"Well done madam Meil. You are very kind" said Sima pleasantly.

Meil quietly smiled and continue washing the sponges in the water_ oughing to remove the soap bubbles.

Sima looked at the clock on the wall before she sounds, "oh my God! Madam Meil, it's time for you to prepare for school. Let me clear the kitchen, I will come help you get ready".

"Be careful. There's still time for me" said Meil.

And Sima smiled. Knowing Meil's attitudes like her own child_ Meil was a strong and courageous girl as she inherited much from her mother. Many times she likes do carry her duties alone.

Sima carefully kept the jug in the tray and took it, trying to walk out.

"Is everything set Aunt?" Asked Meil.

And Sima responded, "luckily madam Meil. Let's go to the dining table now. It's breakfast time. Will you do me a favor please?"

"Sure Aunt".

"Please inform your father that breakfast is ready. I have already arranged everything in the dining table. I will go and iron your school uniforms and arrange your bag".

"Don't work hard Aunt. I thought it's last two days you clean the bag. I am not the teacher".

And Sima laughed at Meil's bravery statement. "It doesn't matter whether you're a teacher or a student madam. It's my duty to makes you clean and neat at anytime".

"Whether I am at home?"

And Sima laughed. "Yes. Wherever you are, so far that I am your maid".

"Let me call father so that we'll eat early" said Meil as she ran upstairs to his room.

"That's my good girl" sounded Sima as she took the tray. Then she walked out.

Meil was running. She was a little steps from Rexim's room, Rexim came out of the room. He was holding a black-color suitcase in one hand with a phone and car keys in the other. Meil stood immobile, looking at him.

Until Rexim reached out to where she was standing. "Doll Meil, what happened?" He asked her kindly.

"I don't know father. Aunt Sima asked me to fetch you for breakfast. Luckily you didn't allow me to enter your room. Today no perfume bonus for me" sounded Meil in worry mood.

"That's my girl. You didn't wear your uniforms, how will I apply my perfume on a stinkiness body" said Rexim.

"Eaww! Father, I am not".

"Then go and take your bath. Wear your uniforms and come to Papa for perfume".

"Okay father" answered Meil and she to go.

And Rexim bespoke, "come and have your breakfast first".

"Okay father. And let me help you" she collect the suitcase from him.

And they walked to the dining room.

While Sima was in Meil's room, busy ironing the uniforms. As she was moving the iron kindly on the clothes, she crushed something inside the trousers's pocket. And she kept down the iron before she tried to check-out. As she dropped her hand inside the pocket, she sensed a paper. Then she brought it out. Her heart beaten hard when she saw the photo. "Foris Crum!" She sounded in tangled voice.

"What!" She heard Rexim's voice and quickly hide the photo behind her back.

"It's nothing Sir" sounded Sima with her body shaking.

Although, Rexim couldn't believe her_ as he suspect that something happens regarding her emotional stress. "What are you hiding Sima?" He asked again, looking strictly at her.

"Believe me Sir, it's nothing. I told you".

"But for the first time I have doubt on your words Sima. You have never lie before, so please don't get started. What makes you stress?"

And Sima looked at him in staggered.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

I was the titan of Wall Street until an indictment and an ankle monitor turned my penthouse into a gilded cage. To save face, I was forced into a marriage with Elza, a "mute" girl from the Schmidt family whom I treated as nothing more than a silent piece of furniture while my empire crumbled. The night I was poisoned at a high-society gala, a mysterious server in an oversized uniform saved my life with terrifying, clinical precision. They disappeared into the night, leaving me with a silver cufflink and a burning obsession to find the shadow who held my life in their hands. Back home, I took my frustration out on Elza, telling her she was "exhausting to look at" and "smelled like sickness" after her charity visits. Her own family treated her like a stray dog, trying to humiliate her at the next gala by dressing her in what they claimed was a cheap knockoff while whispering to the press that she was nothing but a high-end escort. "Stay out of my way," I would growl at her, never noticing the steel in her eyes. I sat at my table, watching my rivals' stocks plummet and wondering who "The Zero"—the legendary financial ghost—really was. I never suspected that the woman I ignored was the same one solving the equations that were currently burning Manhattan to the ground. The injustice peaked when Elza stood before the city's elite, not as a victim, but as a queen. She dropped over a hundred million dollars to buy back her family’s legacy, revealing a secret fortune that made my own empire look like pocket change. As I grabbed her wrist and saw the small red mole hidden beneath her watch, the truth hit me like a physical blow. The silent wife I had despised was the savior I had been hunting, and she was finally done playing the victim. "We have a lot to talk about, wife," I whispered, realizing I had been sleeping next to the most dangerous woman in the world.
