A Thousand years after Derek received the prophecy that Lucia was the one to kill him, finally Lucia was born.

Lucia was already 22 years and was already a graduate but had no male or other female friends except from Daniella. She grew up in a peaceful, loving family, and she has grown up to be a good girl aside from fighting those who wants to harm her. Some even compared her to an untainted snow, well and pure, but some mocked her, calling her little Monster.

As she was growing up, Lucia had gotten used to most people mocking her, but her grandparents always encouraged and advised her not to let the words of people break her down. She was trained not to keep a negative mindset, and she has decided that there was no way she would let those people break her down.

She had her reason of why she had never had any male friend, even now that she is already 22 years. When she was 17 she realized that she had developed a trauma, she never wanted to become use to any male friend because she just doesn't want anyone to miss her when she was gone. Her illness was never getting better by the day. It was incurable. 

Lucia had witnessed how her grandparents missed her parents every day. She understood what it meant to lose the ones we love. She witnessed her grandparents crying countless times at night without them noticing it. It pained her whenever her grandparents cry, holding her parent's picture. It was so unbearable for her, that’s why she wouldn’t want anyone to get so attached to her. Seeing Danielle, her childhood best friend makes her cry because she knew how lonely her friend would be when she is no more.

She also overheard her grandmother saying that the world was meaningless to her, and that she would prefer death to torture. That was when she realized that she was the reason her grandparents were still living but what about when she dies by that deadly sickness? 

Days later after Lucia's birth, her both parents died just for the prophecy to be fulfilled. When she was 17, she was told that her mother died of an incurable sickness, and it happened that she inherited that same illness from her mother. While her father died in a car accident after he heard the death news of his newly married wife. 

Ever since she knew about her illness, she had been battling with it. She was just 17 that time, and she knew that, just like her mother, she just has 5 more years to live. It was so painful that her mother died very early that she had just little or no memory of her mother or father.

Knowing that she would not live long, she decided to stay far from boys. She never wanted to get married, not because she does not wish to, but because she just doesn’t want to make any one pass through what her grandparents were passing through. Because of that, whenever any male friend approach her, all she could say was “sorry, I am not interested”. She did all she could to avoid boys, that was why she sometimes dresses off and also love beating up boys that crosses her path.

However, as years passes by, Lucia began to question herself.

The desire that she had been suppressing all this while was getting out of control. She had been dreaming of wanting to express how it feels to love someone. Though, she was loved by her grandparents, Daniella, and the children at the orphanage where she normally goes whenever she is bored and whenever Daniella wasn’t there to keep her company.

Lucia wanted to experience how it feels to have butter flies in one’s belly and how it would feel to spend some time with that particular person you cherish.

She had read so many kinds of books that has to do with love, so she could not help it but to wish she could experience the so-called love before she dies.

That was her only wish, to have someone she could love, even not being loved back. At least, in that way, she wouldn’t make anyone miss her when she is gone.
