Before the Rain Falls

(SILVA POV)

It was a rainy day, the weather was so gloomy like the gods were pissed at something, it seemed to be my lucky day, although it looked really scary outside as the thunders roared and the lightning cackled as though the fibric of the world was been thorn in two pieces it was still the best and mostly lovely weather condition to me cus now nobody will pay attention to my existence or so I thought.

I jumped down the window and scaled the fence of our mansion which wasn't too tall to begin with. Sometimes I wonder why it was even there in the first place, well that's none of my business anyways, I ran with all my strength into the forest behind the mansion, I was so eager and excited to see him again, the most beautiful existence I've ever came across. He only comes out when it rains and I'm not even sure he knows I existed but I was happy watching him from behind the shrubs. Today happens to be just another day for me to seemlessly carry out my spying, I slowed down as I got closer to the spot and there he was, his skin was glistening in the rain his hair soaked wet and sparkled together with each cackle of the lightning , I don't even know what creature this was but I can say for sure that it's the most beautiful creature that exists on this planet.

I stayed still in my position as I watched the little puppy looking creature bask in all the glory of the heavy rain, but I could feel it within me that something is different, I didn't know where that feeling was coming from and couldn't even tell what was wrong, well I shrugged and continued watching. All of a sudden I heard voices from behind me, that was really rare given the weather condition and how deep within the forest I was, it wasnt normal so I turned to take a look around but I couldn't turn back cus an excruciating pain welled up within my chest and I had the urge to shout but my mouth wouldn't budge, my throat was stretched to the limit but no sound came out till I fell back and passed out...

" Hey , come check this out!!!!"

"What's it now buck??"

"I found a greenie !!! Come over quickly, this one looks delicious"

"What the hell a civilian doing deep within this forest in this condition??

As the men spoke among themselves Silva's mind was blank. " What just happened??....did I pass out??...who are those?...wait...wait!!! My beauty!!" Then she jumped up to her feet and started looking around frantically.

"Oh you're awake, took you so long, what were you doing here??". She heard and turned around to see a a boy staring at here with curiosity, he had dirty blonde hair and blue eyes an exquisite looking face and shabby clothes . " He looks so contradictory" . Those were the first words that came to her mind before she looked away without answering, she stood up and started walking towards the opening but found nothing there, it was at that moment it clicked to her that it stopped raining already and it's about time she goes back home..

Emery just quietly stared at her with his blue eyes, earlier he had sent his men away to continue the search while he stayed to watch over the weird looking girl who fell asleep in a thunderstorm deep within the forest. He couldn't help but roam his eyes on her figure while she was sleeping, she looked petite, skinny and weak with dark midnight hair, but the moment she opened her eyes it was like her figure changed, she didn't look all that scrawny anymore, and her hair had a little tinge of green to it that matched her iris . He was curious about what she was doing in the forest and also curious about why she was in this same location his boss showed on the map...."is she the ....?"

"Captain all perimeters cleared, we found nothing" His train of thoughts was interupted by one of his men.

"It's alright guys, let's head out..." He ordered and started walking away completely ignoring the beauty who seemed to be in her own world
