In Love With Vengence

Lemuria was a scenic city. It had a full city on one side and a dense forest on the other. That forest was the specialty of that city. There was a famous temple in the city.

The number of disappearances in the city has been on the rise from the past two months. Sometimes the police found injured people but there was a small amount of blood on their bodies. They didn’t remember anything. The people who found it always said that they had been attacked by animals.

It was late at night, Kate was going home ... There were street lights on roadside even then she felt that it was very dark today... She was a little late to go home today than usual... because she had extra hours. Also she wanted to take some things to home with her. College was far from home. Today, don’t know why she felt something different. But what could be more different than what happened to her in the last 2 months??? She was thinking like that... but it was just the beginning...

Two months ago.....

It was morning,

“Kate ... oh Kate, get up...!!! Look how much time it has been ...” Lucy called her... Kate gets up from the bed rubbing her eyes ... She likes the view from the window because it had started to rain... The birds were chirping outside as it had just rained. The clouds in the distance were making her happy. She got up from the bed and quickly asked Lucy for tea. Lucy was her aunt. There was a garden in front of their house, where the birds came as usual. She took a bowl full of rice and fed it to the birds in the yard ... Seeing Kate, the birds chirped even more as if they were waiting for her. She gave that rice to the birds...

After a while, Lucy called her from the kitchen, "Kate, take your tea." Kate took a cup of tea and she came and sat at the table. Her attention was drawn to the paper on the table, which contained the big news: “animal attacks has increased in the city, eight of them have gone missing...”

While she was reading the news, her uncle came there. She did not know how time passed while talking. Now, however, Kate was in a lot of trouble. She was afraid she would be late for college. Because she don't like being late.

Kate's aunt (Lucy) and uncle (Lewis) were not too old. They had an only son who studies in the suburbs, who was only a year younger than Kate.

Both parents are working in the archeology department and they are constantly on the search for something that only reason they used to tell. Kate was annoyed by this. Sometimes she would get video calls from them, in which they would chat with to their heart content. But when she asks when will you come mom and dad?? At that time, the answer was the same. "Baby soon."

Kate was studying in the last year of her master's degree. Specialization HR was placed. She was studying in a famous college in Lemuria. Today, when she was going to college, she had the same thought in her mind... what are her parents doing?
