It All Started With A Boy

‘Deceive everyone. Hide your real identity. Gain friends with your masks and if your already close to them, tell who you really are. See who's going to stay and others that will left you hanging. '

I just smiled as I wrote these words in my journal. To begin with, this is what I want.

For me, it’s better to be a simple person. The type where you won't have a friend just because of your wealth and they will just love you because you're famous or whatever.

Deceiving everyone is the key if you're testing if they're real or not. There are people who have a lot of friends, but when the time comes, they're just backstabbing each other.  They don't really love each other but using them for money, wealth and fame.

"Crystalline, are you ready?" My brother asked and sat down next to me.

I smile and nodded my head yes. I hid my journal in the drawer first because i had no intention of carrying it with me. "I'm a bit scared, brother." I said hug him.

I felt his gentle kiss on the top of my head. "You did it well, princess. If anything happens, dad and i are just here. You are our princess after all."

I just smiled at what he said. I broke free from my older brother's embrace then grabbed my suitcase. "Come on, brother. We might miss the plane."

He jokingly messed up my hair and left the room at the same time. We went straight to the parking lot where mom and dad are waiting.

Mommy sweetly smile at me. "Don't worry. You did it well." She cheer me up. I smile and hug her.

Daddy hugged me too after we got in the car. The whole trip to the airport is fun but i was just looking out the window and thinking about the possibilities.

I'm scared even though i shouldn't be. Dad and brother were just there to protect me but i still couldn't relax.

After a very long flight, we're already here in the United States of America. Many things have changed because i was only twelve years old when we left the America. I'm already seventeen that's why i'm happy that we're here at the place where i was born.

We have also been in Russia for five years and i can say that it is really better here in the USA. After all, what happened to me in Russia was just a calvary.

Homeschooling, just one friend, and lastly...

"Take a break, Crystalline. Do you want to enroll by yourself or just leave it to dad?" I shook my head no and smiled at him.

"I'll just enroll. But, come with me." I sniffed so he laughed and raised his hand to mess up my hair but i quickly avoided. "That's a kudos for messing with my hair, brother Cryston Dylan Xai Maixity!"

He raised his hand as if surrendering. "Chill, not anymore. But ..."

I raised an eyebrow at him. "But?"

He gave me a cheeky smile so i already knew what he would do right away but before i could escape, he touched my cheek with both hands and squeezed it at the same time. I screamed and slapped his hand with all my force but he just put more pressure on pinching my cheek.

"Brother! Shtrapdat!" I stopped him but he smiled and stucked his toungeout .

"What did you just say, 'more'?" He's still teasing me.

"I shaid, shtop." I shouted again but he pressed harder. I was about to kick him when he quickly let go of me and ran out of my room.

My snout dropped in pain so i touched my two cheeks and faced the mirror just in front of my bed. I extended my snout even more when i saw that my two cheeks were red as if blushed on, so my head immediately became hot.

I just didn't chase my older brother because tomorrow I will take revenge on him. I will consume the contents of his card! The pain in my cheek every time he touches it, so it must hurt his wallet as well.

"Look at that bag brother! I want that!" I said happily to older brother Cryston while pointing the displayed bag. I immediately pulled him inside.

"You mean, you're retaliating, aren't you?" He said while poiting so he looked like a dude. Not a joke, my brother is really handsome but i won't tell him that, his ego will be more higher than a building.

I laugh and encircle my hand on his arm. "Of course! My cheek hurts."

My older brother just shook his head and talked to the store staff but i noticed that the woman with the thick lipstick on and forcing her face to look cute. She even do a beautiful eyes on my brother and she is very close to him.

I stepped aside from my older brother and waved but the woman didn't notice me because she was staring at my older brother.

"Hey you." I said and pointed at her. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow at me. WTF! “Don’t you ever dare to give my brother that fucking slutty smile and dog eyes. You just look like a dog with make up so back off." I said loudly so some of the buyers turned around and laughed because of what I said.
