My life has treated me with savagery. Because I was still a child when my parents passed away, I was placed in an orphanage when I was 12 years old. I was 13 when I first encountered him. His parents did not care for him properly, and he came from a dysfunctional household with broken vows from a marriage that couldn't make their relationship work. We are both students, and he gave up his criminal lifestyle in order to join me in the orphanage and lead a more moral existence there. He instilled in me the knowledge that the world beyond the walls of the orphanage is a brutal one, and that in order to triumph over it, I must be watchful, brave, and fearless. In the afternoon of that same day, I was transported to the home of my new parents. The paperwork for my adoption is already in the processing stage. I have no idea why they chose me; no one has ever really adopted me before because they say I have an impolite appearance, and what the adopters are really looking for are children who are younger than nine years old. Both the house and the couple are welcoming. I know that the husband is a police officer and that he achieved a high rank in the service. The wife has a soft voice and is very beautiful. Her husband works very hard. When he first saw me, it appears that he also made the decision to adopt me.
