Passions Flame

The university shone brightly on this back-to-school morning. Students flocked in, eager to discover their new environment. Among them, five young people would see their lives change irreversibly.

Alice, a young brunette woman with sparkling eyes, was getting out of a taxi with a backpack on her shoulder and a suitcase in her hand. Coming from a modest background, she had worked hard to obtain a scholarship. She looked at the imposing buildings of the university with admiration mixed with apprehension. As she entered her dorm room, she took a deep breath, ready to begin this new chapter in her life.

David, for his part, got out of a luxury car, helped by a driver. His designer clothes and confident demeanor betrayed his wealthy background. From behind his sunglasses, he observed the other students with a mixture of curiosity and detachment. He greeted a few acquaintances from his private high school before heading to his room.

Chloe, with flamboyant red hair and artistic style, wore a big smile. Her passion for art had brought her here, and she hoped to find inspiration in this new environment. She was dragging a large trunk filled with art supplies. Upon discovering her room, she quickly decorated the walls with her favorite works, immediately transforming the space into a living art studio.

Bruno, tall and athletic, arrived by car with his parents. His serious face contrasted with his sporty appearance. He was determined to prove that he was not only an athlete, but also an intellectual capable of success. After saying goodbye to his parents, he headed to the gym, his sanctuary, for a quick workout before classes started.

Finally, Emilie, with her blond hair and piercing blue eyes, walked confidently towards the main building. She came from a middle-class family, but her determination and ambition always pushed her to aim higher. As she walked through the university gates, she felt a wave of excitement and pride.

A few hours later, Alice entered a large classroom, slightly nervous. She spotted an empty seat and settled in, carefully taking out her things. Next to her, Bruno also sat, glancing quickly around him.

"Hi," he said, turning to Alice. "Is this your first year here too?"

Alice smiled shyly. "Yes, that's it. And you ?"

"Yes, I'm Bruno. I'm here mainly for the sports program, but I also have economics classes."

"Alice," she replied, holding out her hand. "I'm here on a scholarship for political science."

Bruno shook his hand with a smile. "Political science, huh? It looks interesting. Maybe we can work together on some projects."

The professor then entered the room, cutting their conversation short. Alice felt a strange excitement. Meeting someone friendly on the first day was a good sign.

That evening, the university organized an integration evening for new students. The campus was decorated with fairy lights and balloons, and a stage was set up for a DJ. Music echoed and laughter filled the air.

Chloé walked among the students, amazed by the festive atmosphere. She headed to the bar for a drink and ran into David, who was chatting with a group of friends.

"Hi," she said as she approached. "My name is Chloe. What year are you in?"
