Word Count: 1007    |    Released on: 22/04/2024

ld you to let the werewolf go but you refused." I summon up courage and yell back at my brother. "Let the werewolf go? Why don't you address him by his name? Dawn, huh? You want me to let Dawn go?"

ls me into a tight hug. "Mia, I am so tired of it all. I am tired of Velican and his undying hate for werewolves. Yes, I get it that they killed our parents and that he wants revenge but why won't he just get it that he's taking revenge on the wrong people," I cry out, snuggling myself in Mia's arms. "But you remember that you both made that vow to hunt down werewolves," Mia says, rubbing my back. "Yes, I vividly remember, and I would also like you and Velican to remember that I made that vow years ago before I knew what was right and what was wrong," I say, rolling my eyes. "Then give it time, I'm sure Velican will also realize that soon. Just be patient with him," Mia says. What Mia doesn't get is that time isn't on our side. Velican is about to make a drastic mistake. "Don't worry about anything, Peritia. I will try to get Velican to settle things with you," Mia adds with a reassuring smile. I look at Mia and tell her that I have an idea if Velican refuses to settle things and accepts to release Dawn and make peace with werewolves, but she urges me to wait until she makes a move towards my brother to avoid further issues arising between my brother and I or my brother and dawn. I nod my head and settle peacefully in her arms. I can't wait for all of this to end.Mia wasn't lying when she said she would talk to Velican about everything that has been going on. She said she talked to him about it, and that Velican agreed to discuss with me later in the evening. I am not so worried about that; I am mostly concerned about Dawn
