A Rivalry from the Womb: Stumbling on a Monarchy for grabs

A Rivalry from the Womb: Stumbling on a Monarchy for grabs

Blurb for A Rivalry from the Womb: Stumbling on a Monarchy for grabs Be prepared to be immersed in a world where the lines between the supernatural and reality are blurred, where black magic weaves its sinister tendrils, and where strange creatures lurk in the shadows. In the gripping pages of “A Rivalry from the Womb: Stumbling on a Monarch for grabs,” an enthralling fusion of crime, suspense and the occult, a game of power and betrayal unfolds. Zadillo didn’t see this one coming. His deep hate for Tito blinded him completely. In any case, the seemingly easy condition imposed by the supernatural forces seemed deliberately designed to ensure his spectacular fail and downfall. The consequences loom ominously, carrying the weight of unforeseen terrors. Nobody present knows what is going on except that, all of a sudden, his face has transformed from that of the most feared underworld lord, whose mere clearing of the throat not only makes powerful men in the industry cringe with fear, but is capable of sealing their fate as well, to the most pitiable demeanor, begging for mercy, and shaking like a leaf in front of the very woman who was his own captive just a few hours ago. Why? As everyone gathered to welcome her, alighting from the royalty class big machine, Linda, looking her exquisite self, her captivating smile eliciting huge admiration from everybody present, her mobile rung, its high-pitched tone, a reflection of her near frivolous character, reverberating through the cheerful atmosphere lulling everyone to silence, in anticipation, as if copiously blessed with a discerning spirit of things to come. “Hello, Linda. This is Doctor Corbyn,” the cheerful voice came alive. “Oh yes Doctor, is there a problem?” responded Linda sounding a little concerned, not knowing she had accidentally pressed the speaker button as she fumbled to take it from her handbag, thereby rendering her conversation, a public announcement. “No, no, no, no, no…quite the contrary in fact. Nothing could be better,” the most cheerful doctor, Linda had ever met continued, her tone ridden with palpable excitement. “The results have come and, guess what- congratulations, you’re a month old pregnant!” She blurted out, her voice, too ear-piercingly loud, and very clear as everyone heard it. Tito and Jungle spontaneously cheered and so did everyone. At that very moment, as Tito’s eyes darted between Jungle’s face and that of Linda a few times in milliseconds, he saw what he had suspected and feared all along, but which loving eyes being what they are, couldn’t see. Jungle realized half a second too late what a capital mistake he had just made. “Hello! Hello! Hello!” The doctor repeated in vain, oblivious to the chaos whose noise she mistook for jubilation, that the good news having reached everyone, had taken over whatever the occasion they had gathered for. She couldn’t be more wrong. But she would know soon enough what a dragon her tactless big mouth had single handedly managed to unleash. Within the fascinating pages of “A Rivalry from the Womb: Stumbling on a Monarchy for grabs,” prepare to be captivated by a tale that explores the depth of human nature, the allure of power, and the tangled threads of destiny. With its unheard of supernatural elements, gripping suspense and a touch of the macabre, this series will transport leaders from characters’ recollections to a world teetering on the edge of chaos. Will the protagonists succumb to the malevolent forces at play, or will they uncover the strength within to wield their own power? The answers lie within the pages of this thrilling and twisted journey of two books!
Predictive Text Couldn't Predict Our Love

Predictive Text Couldn't Predict Our Love

My world was painted with words nobody else could see, predictive text shimmering over everyone, even future adoptive families. When the chance came to pick a family, the perfect Hendersons offered sunny picnics and acceptance, but the text over Liam Henderson screamed a crimson warning: "AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Heartbreak." Instead, it pointed to Blake Sterling, a boy drowned in the corner, with a soft blue message: "RECOMMENDED. A cold and difficult beginning. This boy is broken, but you are the key to his healing." I chose him, stepping into a life of cold silence, a museum of a house, and a father who disappeared even when he was home. What started as quiet mutual support quickly devolved. Blake's mother's death, a supposed "wellness program," became his obsession, fueling a terrifying need for revenge against the Hendersons and Dr. Evelyn Reed. He was falling apart, spray-painting their mansion, self-destructing. Desperate, I confessed my secret, my ability to see the "text," telling him it warned me about his dangerous path. Then, the true horror unfolded: the 'wellness program' wasn't just for his mother. Blake found a list, and my name was on it. The text I saw, my supposed "gift," wasn't magic-it was a side effect of the same experimental trial that killed his mother. I was a lab rat, just like her. And then, his father-Mr. Sterling-came into focus. Not only had he known the program was dangerous, he' d taken money to keep quiet about the 'wellness program' and its child victims, including me. The connection between Blake and me shattered, a bond born of shared pain now poisoned by his father' s monstrous betrayal. Blake turned on me, his eyes filled with terror, accusing me of being part of the conspiracy, a living symbol of his family's betrayal. I was alone again, more lost than in the orphanage, the text over my head a flat, dead gray: "Connection Severed." But then, a terrifying alert flashed, not for Blake, but for the man who had destroyed us both: "CRITICAL ALERT: STERLING SENIOR. ALCOHOL AND PRESCRIPTION DRUG INTERACTION. LETHAL PROBABILITY: 95%." Our personal tragedy was about to be eclipsed, and I knew-we had to save him.
The Game She Played

The Game She Played

The doctor's words echoed, a distant hum, yet crystal clear: "Congratulations, Mrs. Prescott, you're pregnant!" My husband Ethan beamed beside me, his grip on my hand tightening, a wide, genuine smile lighting his face – the kind of pure joy I hadn't seen in far too long. He pulled me into a hug, his voice booming with happiness that filled the sterile room. But a cold dread pierced me, deeper than any clinic air conditioning. This exact moment. I remembered it. In my last life, this pregnancy, this supposed joy, became the very weapon they used against me. Chloe, Ethan's first choice, the woman he was supposed to marry, had returned. She feigned concern, using her 'wellness expertise' facade to get close. She then whispered poison in Ethan' s ear, painting me as a burden, before orchestrating my 'accident' – a fall that led to the tragic loss of my child, and soon after, my own broken, wasted death. I could still hear Chloe's voice, soft and venomous, as I lay bleeding: "You were always beneath us, Ava. Just in the way." That memory burned, a raw wound in my soul. The sheer injustice of their cruelty, the depths of their betrayal, still sent ice through my veins. How could I have been so naive, so easily discarded? The confusion, the despair from that past life resurfaced, potent and suffocating. But this time, I was ready. The knowledge wasn't a shroud, but a shield. I blinked, forcing a fragile smile. My new goal was clear, etched in the pain of my past: survive, protect my child, and utterly destroy them.
The Witch Hunter

The Witch Hunter

Full moon ... and pure breeze. Only the sound of the owl can be heard in the atmosphere, and the chirping of the leaves coming from the trees here in the forest that is steady in the wind. But suddenly the hours of silence were broken by the successive footsteps of the horses carrying the soldiers who seemed to be chasing someone. In front of them was a young witch who was gasping for breath on the run. That's me. My name is Charm, a full-blooded witch- which mortals call those like me born with power. But the correct name for such names is deities. I was suddenly alarmed when I heard the chirping of a soldier who used his bow so I prepared myself. Even before I was hit, I surrounded myself with a magic barrier. I admit that he is not a very strong kind of barrier because he is not that skilled in magic, but it is enough to fend off all the arrows they will shoot for me. But even so, they kept chasing me. it's irritating the shit out of me! The barrier I created is still consuming energy, so maybe at any time it will disappear forever. I wanted to fight them, but my grandmother - who had nurtured and cared for me since childhood - strictly forbade me to hurt those who had no power. Case ... I feel like the barrier I created is slowly disappearing. So even before that happens, I have to decide whether I will fight these soldiers, or not. "Don't stop until you catch it!" I heard shouts of what I think was their leader. I know there is a big layer on witches like me, so I understand how they want to catch me. A few more minutes passed ... I suddenly thought I had stopped running, and I faced them with courage. If I remember correctly, I was near the temple of Deity Morrel - one of the formerly worshiped Goddesses of Wisdom. Grandma told me when she ran away from the soldiers who were looking for me, she said I would go to that temple so that I could temporarily hide from mortals. It is believed that there is a guardian animal living in that temple so I will be safe there. "What, have you decided to just give up, witch?!" the leader exclaimed. I just smiled. "Surrender? That will never happen." I said calmly. I raised the blue silver wand I was holding and mentioned a level 1 fire spell I knew. "Flame shower!" Exactly when I mentioned such a spell, it seemed that blazing flames fell from above and surrounded the saken - which separated the saken and these soldiers. I can see that they are backing away from what I did, and the horses they are carrying are making noise which is the reason why they are busy staying with their horses for a while .. It's time for me to escape! I raised the wand I was holding and then I was enveloped in intense light. Deity Morrel's temple is also close from here so I'll just teleport there. Earlier I would have made a case when I was teleporting too far away, it would be easier for me to run out of energy that I could even die, so earlier I was saving a lot of it. I started to build my escape. The light that enveloped saken intensified even more and I could feel the force pulling saken upwards ... a signal that my teleportation was about to be completed. But ... Even before I finally disappeared in front of them, I felt a sharp object pierce my side. Then I only saw what it was when I faded in front of them and I reached my destination in the blink of an eye. As soon as I reached the temple grounds I immediately collapsed while holding on to my side hit by an arrow I knew was mixed with poison. With the rapid effect of the poison, my whole muscles trembled and my vision darkened. A few more seconds passed while I was still trying to fight the nausea I was feeling ... Darkness has covered my entire environment ....
