I'm Kennedy, the pack's recognized Luna, and Tyler's fated mate-or so I foolishly believed. That day, the pregnancy test burned in my palm as I traced the tiny life growing inside me, my heart swelling with secret joy. But that joy turned to ash outside the club on that rainy night. Brenda's back-the woman who saved his life, the one he chose without hesitation over me. He grew colder by the day, letting her friends call me a FAKE LUNA to my face, even saying he wanted to reject our mate bond. I clung to my pregnancy like it was my last shred of dignity, terrified that if I spoke up, all I'd hear was his icy command-- "Abort it." He left me soaking in the rain, ignored me when I was burning with fever, and let me be humiliated, let me be pressured. But he forgot- I'm Kennedy, not some fragile vine that bends to his will. He'll pay the most brutal price for that stupid mistake!

Chapter 1 Pregnant Luna

Kennedy pov

Pack hospital

"Congratulations Luna , you're pregnant, and the baby is healthy." The pack doctor announced.

I clenched the report in my hands, my expression stunned.

Pregnant? I was both shocked and overjoyed, unable to believe it. My wolf was howling happily in the back of my head. She loves Tyler wolf too and I couldn't blame her, we are mates afterall.

"You'll need to come back for regular check-ups. Where's the Alpha? Have him come in so I can give him some advice."

The doctor's words snapped me back to reality.

I smiled awkwardly: "he didn't come today, you know how busy the alpha is"

"Really? But this is our future Alpha, he should have followed you"

I couldn't give her a reply as embarrassment washed over me, Tyler knew I wasn't feeling too well and had been vomiting lately but he still refused to follow me here.

As I left the hospital, a light drizzle began to fall. I gently rubbed my abdomen.

There was already a little life growing inside me.

It was mine and Tyler's child...

My phone vibrated. I took it out and saw a message from my husband, Alpha Tyler.

"It's raining. Bring an umbrella to this address." The message sounded very urgent

I glanced at the address: XX Club Lounge

What kind of place is that? Didn't he say he had a meeting today? What meeting could the Alpha be having a club?

However, I didn't hesitate for long and had the driver from the Alpha family take me to the address.

"You can go back first." I told the driver immediately he drop me outside the club

"Luna, shouldn't we wait for you to come out?" The driver protested.

I thought for a moment and shook my head: "No need. I'll just go home with the alpha later."

Since I had come to find Tyler , I might as well wait to join the meeting as Luna and also come home together.

Upon receiving my instructions, Mr. Chen, the Alpha family's driver, quickly drove away.

Earlier, it had been a light drizzle, but now it was pouring down in buckets.

I held the umbrella and walked to the entrance of the club.

"Sorry, Luna, you shouldn't be here." A guy at the door stopped me

"But my husband asked me to come here" I looked puzzled. What's going on?

"I will let the alpha know you are here" he said, still stopping me from going inside.

How the guy is acting is unusual, what kind of meeting is Tyler holding in this kind of place. I nodded my head and watched the guy disappear into the building.

I stood nearby with the umbrella, gazing at the rain while thinking about the pregnancy test results.

Perhaps I should tell him directly when he comes out? Or wait until his birthday and give him a surprise?

Meanwhile, as the guy entered, he saw the alpha, beta and some of his friends making fun of Luna.

A group of people leaned against the window, watching the figure below.

"AlphaTyler, you make a pretty convincing Luna. You actually had her bring you an umbrella?Does she really think you'd get wet in the rain without one?"

"Maybe she loves you being a that she doesn't want anything happen to you"

"Nonsense." A lazy, deep voice drifted out from the corner of the private room.

The man was tall and slender, with a cold, composed expression and fair skin. His slightly upturned almond-shaped eyes were particularly striking. He wore a gray custom-made suit, his long legs crossed elegantly.

He raised his hand slightly, revealing the exquisite and luxurious watch on his wrist, "Hand it over."

His prankster friend could only hand the phone back to him.

"Ugh, the phone had to go back so quickly?"

"Enough, enough. If it weren't for Brenda being here, you wouldn't even have had the chance to take his phone."

Everyone joked around, glancing at the girl sitting beside him. She wore a white dress, had a beautiful face, and exuded a gentle demeanor.

Hearing this, she bit her lip and smiled softly,

"Alright, taking the alpha phone to play a prank was wrong to begin with, and now you're teasing me."

Her friend beside her wasn't about to let them off the hook, teasing,

"Who doesn't know that you are the most important person in our alpha heart?" the beta said

"Exactly. Even if you ask Alpha Tyler, he'd say the same thing, right?" another friend said

Brenda heard this and couldn't help but glance at Tyler.

Alpha Tyler curved his thin lips slightly, but did not deny it.

Seeing that he didn't deny it, the crowd grew even more rowdy.

"I told you so! In Tyler's heart, no one is more important than Brenda!"

Amidst the crowd's cheers, Tyler lowered his eyes and quickly called the guy that had come to tell him about Luna's arrival.

"Tell her the umbrella isn't needed anymore. She can go back first." he told him and the guy nodded and left.

Upon receiving the message, I felt a bit puzzled and asked the guy

"Is something wrong? What kind of people is he meeting with?" I asked him.

The guy only stared at me with pity in his eyes and went about what he was doing.

Perhaps he really was busy. I decided to go back first.

"Wait."

Someone called out to me from behind. I turned around and saw two fashionably dressed girls walking toward her.

The taller one gave her a disdainful glance and asked,

"You're the supposed Luna?" she asked.

Her face clearly showed she meant no good, and I didn't bother to be polite, replying calmly, "Who are you?" I growled.

"Who I am doesn't matter. What matters is that the real person who is supposed to be Luna is back. If you know what's good for you, get out of our alpha way.".

Something in me snapped.

How long has it been since I heard that name? So long that... I almost forgot such a person even existed.

My emotions were clearly detected by the other person, who gave me a disdainful glance.

"Why are you so surprised? Did you really not know you were the fake Luna for two years and turned into a fool? Do you really think this position is yours?"

I bit her lower lip, my face pale, and the knuckles of her fingers gripping the umbrella turned white. I was trying to keep my wolf calm.

"Look at her. She must be unwilling to give up and still wants to compete with Brenda, right?"

"With her?" she eyed me from head to toe

I turned and walked away without hearing another word.

The two women's shouts were drowned out by the rain.

When I returned to the Alpha residence, the door opened, and the butler was startled to see adrenched figure standing at the entrance. Upon recognizing me, he exclaimed,

"Luna!" he said "How did you get so soaked? Come inside quickly."

My limbs were numb from the cold. As soon as I entered the house, servants rushed over with large towels to cover my body and others to dry my hair. A crowd gathered around me.

"Quick, bring some hot water for the Luna!"

"Boil some ginger tea!"

The servants at the Alpha household were in a frenzy because their Luna had been soaked to the bone, so none of them noticed a car entering the Alpha mansion. Soon after, a tall figure appearedat the entrance.

Until a cold voice rang out. "What's going on?"

Upon hearing the voice, I flinched. How had he returned?

At this moment, shouldn't he be with his beloved Brenda? I knew he was dating Brenda when I first met him but he had left her because I was his mate.

"Alpha, our Lun got caught in the rain."

Got caught in the rain?

His dark eyes fell on my delicate figure on the sofa, and he walked over with long strides.

Upon getting closer and seeing me clearly, his brows furrowed.

At that moment, I looked like a drenched chicken, my soft hair clinging wetly to my pale skin, and my once cherry-red lips had lost all color.

"What happened to you?" he frowned, his tone not very pleasant.

I struggled to control my emotions before lifting my head and forcing a pale smile at Tyler, explaining,

"My phone died, and on the way back, I came across a child who didn't have an umbrella."

Tyler's expression suddenly turned cold.

"Are you sick or something?"

My smile froze on my lips.

"He didn't have an umbrella, so you gave him yours and got soaked in the rain, is that it?" He half-yelled.

"You're an adult. Do you think I'd praise you for doing something like that?"

The servants gathered around exchanged glances, none daring to speak.

I lowered my eyelids, and a layer of mist began to form before my eyes. Watching the little boy under the rain getting drenched has stirred up an emotion in me, he reminded me of the little life growing inside of me.

I said nothing, struggling to hold back my emotions. Pregnancy hormones

Until he walked over and picked me up horizontally, and that single hot tear finally fell onto my wrist.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.
