I travel through a novel and become the villain - Serina, who comes from the noble Ducal Melford family. As a well-off character, I tried to be mindful of my life, but the story had other ideas. A self-proclaimed mother of mine brought back a boy - heir to a duke and a genius wizard - with the intention of brainwashing and blackening him. The content of brainwashing is two things: 1. Be obedient to our family. 2. And love Serina. Thanks to that, the brainwashed yandere became obsessed with me... I cannot do this. I have to destroy this yandere's brainwashing process! By the way, what situation is this? "Now that the brainwashing is over, I'll do as I please. So, Serina, please, do your best with us." I solved his brainwashing... but why does he seem even crazier than before- Did I make a mistake?

Chapter 1 "Please, Serena, please."

"Serina, what are you doing?"

"Don't bring him back."

"Serina, please, ··!"

"!"

He cried looking pathetic and desperate as he grabbed my skirt.

I don't care for such a boy.

The boy just turned 14 years old but already has an extraordinary character.

His purple eyes seem to draw you in. They are dazzling, bright, and captivating to all who see them. The more I look at it, the more I can't take my eyes off it.

But the members of this family were indifferent to that enchanting face.

The boy kept begging me.

As usual, I made the same expression as the people around me.

His hands are reflected in each other in a prayer position.

Gak - the leash was desperate.

"Please, Serina, will you bring Alastair to me?"

"He must be educated, but he is not obedient."

Dark gray eyes shone in the color of her hair and stared at me with a surge of coldness.

The Duchess of Melford's eyes were so icy that they filled my grandmother-like face.

"My good daughter, come here." She was always so strong.

"Yes."

Her ability to overwhelm with just her eyes - doesn't even take action to prevail. That's why she defeated her brothers and became a Duke, even though she was a woman.

"Please, Serena, please."

"......Now. Take your hands off it, Alastair."

Alastair was still holding onto my skirt. I tugged at the hem of my shirt, clutching it in his hand, but it didn't budge.

If I were him, I wouldn't grab someone's skirt, I'd run away.

Of course, running away doesn't mean a successful escape, but it can delay what's to come.

"My daughter is so gentle." The Duke of Melford looked thoughtfully at Alastair.

This child of hers knew what the servants wanted and began to move in her direction.

Clap, clack.

The sound of heels hitting the cold marble floor was particularly sharp.

As the footsteps of the servants drew near, Alastair trembled like a rotten tree in autumn.

His white skin was terrifyingly pale.

However, sadly, there was no one here to sympathize with him even seeing his desperate image.

The people around the Duchess of Melford were all the same. Like herself, there was no trace of sympathy, only brutal interest.

But there is an exception.

"Mom, he doesn't look well today, so why don't we do it next time?"

"'You mean it's not well? Then the brainwashing will work even better.

The Duke of Melford grinned and clapped her hands as if she had accomplished something. Although her laughter did not resonate at all with the situation.

I feel disgusting.

This is essentially what the Duke of Melford does with Alastair.

Brainwashing him into submission to the Melfords. And love Serina.

It's weird.

I try to tell myself I'm used to it, but every time I hear it, I frown.

It was a cruel act for a young boy, but it was inevitable for our family.

When I turned to Alastair, I saw the Hall of Illusion.

A place specially created to brainwash Alastair. He has to go there every week.

In the Hall of Illusion, the scented candle specially made by the Duchess created an illusion strong enough to melt the brain of an ordinary person.

Therefore, Alastair cannot be locked up often or for long periods.

In the end, the servants wandered around a corner. The servants who passed through my door all stopped.

A servant politely bowed to me and then grabbed Alastair's arm tightly.

"No, no, no, no, no, no!"

Alastair tried to pull away from his restrained arm, but the more he resisted, the more trampled he became.

The Duke's servants restrained him, immobilizing him so that he wouldn't break free. Their merciless hands grabbed Alastair's head and shoved him to the floor, twisting his arms back, immobilizing him. The more they did, the more he suffered.

It got worse. "Ohh!"

"Serina, ···?"

"?"

Alastair's arms broke free from their merciless grip and accidentally touched my ankle. He only frowned slightly in surprise at the touch, but Alastair's face was tinged with sweet sulfur.

At my words, Alastair's attention immediately focused on me. The servants did not miss the opportunity.

They completely overpowered Alastair and tied his hands with ropes. Alastair quickly calmed down, perhaps surprised by the fact that he had touched me.

The servants slammed his face into the floor and forced him to stop moving. During this process, Alastair's silky black hair was pulled and rolled onto the floor. Those eyes still contain only me.

As I tried to continue looking into those wavering eyes, I felt guilty and unintentionally avoided his gaze.

"Take care."

I turned my back on the tumultuous situation, leaving only the words.

There's nothing I can do for Alastair.

What can a 14-year-old girl do? Come to think of it, it's been three years since Alastair was brainwashed.

I don't know if the brainwashing worked, but one day he started blushing at me.

It seemed that the brainwashing to fall in love with Serina worked, but strangely, this time the brainwashing didn't.

He completely disobeyed orders to submit to our family.

Sometimes, I think it would be better for Alastair to be completely brainwashed. Then this torture will stop. But there was also the important fact that he always firmly refused to be brainwashed to the end.

From the moment he was completely brainwashed by Duke Melford, he would live like her puppet.

I feel tired. I returned to my room and for a long time lost in thought. I lie down on the bed because I don't want to think about anything anymore.

The warmth under the duvet did not lessen at all before the cold abuse of this family.

When I was still here, I often fooled myself and escaped - as if I were somewhere other than the principality of Melford. In that intoxicating comfort, I fell into a deep, numbing sleep.

* * * *

"Um, ···."

In my slumber, I could feel something warm pound on my ankles. Worried, I pulled my foot out of it, but an unknown "something" caught my ankle. That thing doesn't seem to move anymore.

"··· Ahh?"

"?"

I wonder what's bothering my ankle, and it's Alastair. He considers my ankles as precious as water in the middle of a desert oasis. He doesn't move.

"What are you doing here?"

"...... I'm sorry, Serina."

"Huh?"

"I made you sick."

Ah. I guess he was talking about the hand that grazed my ankle during his struggle earlier.

"It's not something worth talking about."

Maybe the brainwashing is working fine. Alastair overreacted as if I would die if I was stabbed by a thorn.

I can see his brainwashing.

He caressed my ankle with concern.

He was never sick in the first place, but he was ridiculous to treat people like critical patients, which made me laugh.

Who cares about who you are when you're the one in trouble? The scene was funny, and one person laughed at the absurdity.

"No thanks. It was just a glint. Don't react so sensitively."

I pulled my ankle away from him.

He couldn't take his eyes off my feet like he was lingering.

"I'm sorry, Seri." he rarely calls my name like that.

Alastair started to cry like chicken poop with a dreary face, and my body trembled at the shameful sight. Now the victim is apologizing to the real attacker.

What do you mean? It was a strange sight.

"...."

"·····, I was wrong. So don't leave me because of that mistake."

Alastair sat down at my feet, begging earnestly.

Please don't lose yourself. I feel very sorry. Alastair's feelings are not real. It was a false, irrational emotion created by brainwashing.

The reason he's afraid of being abandoned by me is that he believes he loves me. Loving and believing in love are different emotions.

If he doesn't believe in love, he won't have feelings for me anymore.

I stroked his dark hair with these complicated thoughts. Silky black hair curled between my fingers. I fell in love with this soft feeling.

Patting his head like he was crying, I comforted him.

"Why don't you come and sit next to me?"

At my words, he stretched his trembling legs and got up from his seat, and sat down beside me. There is no other dog that hears this well.

Alastair sat on the bed and stared into my red eyes for a moment with a hazy, slightly drooping, longing gaze. Charming eyes have focused on me

My insides are gently bent.

For a moment of weightlessness, I felt as if time had stopped.

A beautiful smiling face and I almost fell in love with him.

I thought I was used to it, but I guess not. It is a beautiful image that I always feel and cherish.

"Serina, can I hold your hand?"

"Sure."

As soon as I gave my permission, Alastair hurriedly took my hand.

My slender hands were wrapped in his rather large hand.

He loosened his grip like he was being careful in case my hand got hurt. It was a very funny scene.

Holding my hand and groping, he suddenly lowered his head and kissed the back of my hand lightly. Maybe that was the beginning, gradually from my hands, my head, and my mouth all imprinted with his kiss.

"Serina" he raised his head and looked at me.

Looking into those hazy eyes, I wonder if one day the brainwashing will subside or not?

Seeing him look at me like he's in love with Serina makes me uncomfortable.

"What should I do? We've been discovered." "Send the clip to the leader already?" “The signal here is not good so it is still sending over.” "You go out the back door first, I'll distract them." "Okay." Edna immediately ran out of the nursery, closing the back door. The teacher in the kindergarten chased after her, shouting: "You are not a parent, who are you, what were you doing outside?" Brenna smirked, shaking the phone, “Tell me. She pricked the children's thighs and backs with needles and picked them up by their ears, I'm all back." "Are you a reporter?" "Lawyer." Brenna winked, playfully uttering a sentence she hadn't had a chance to say during this internship. Then she ran away in another direction. The teacher was terrified and shouted: "Who are you, hurry up and catch her, if she spreads the clip out, we will die." Brenna smirked, she purposely led them to run around for 10 minutes.
