Rose glared at the woman In front of her and turned to her parents who looked so happy. "Rose my daughter, We've called you here today because of this woman who came

all the way from the city to our village because of you".. His father uttered and paused his speech as he glared at his mother to continue the speech.

"Aunty Emma is here to take you to the city Rose" her mother let out the unpleasant words which she has been very much afraid of as her eyes widened open. "But mother, that's......". Tatatata! Her father cut her off immediately as she zip her mouth.

The innocent seventeen years old girl wasn't allowed to speak. She totally has no right to speak nor does she have such freedom. She could only watch while her parents decide her fate.

"But sir; it's really Okay if she doesn't agree to come with me! I can take my leave immediately because I have some other girls waiting for me to come pick them up". I hate the way those girls are suffering in the village. That was the reason why I volunteered to take them to the city and give them the best life they desire.

but it's okay if she doesn't want to come with me. It's her loss!

Mr. Harrison and Mrs. Grace wouldn't let their child miss such opportunities as they decide to force her. They don't want her to become a poor farmer like them who struggle everyday just to see food on their table. They just want what's best for their daughter and they feel like if eventually she could follow this woman to the city, she will get to live a good life and have a good future and later come home with a wealthy man who will change their Lives.

Their thoughts were perfect and they just gotta force her into it.

"She's going to agree ma'am, please let us just speak to her!"

The three of them walk outside and first of all, Mr. Harrison Landed a hot slap in her cheeks as tears pricked out of her eyes. She dares not to ask him what she has done wrong because she knew the reason why he had slapped her. Of course she provokes him.

"Listen to me Rose: you're going to follow her to the city to have a good life! Do you actually want to end up like us? Just look at you, you haven't been schooling for four years now and that's due to money! I'm sure you will benefit from many things in the city than here.

"Your father is right Rose!" You have to take hold of the chance you have right now Child! Please don't let it slip away! After so many thoughts, she finally came to a realization. They're right! There's nothing in the village here! She needs to go to school! She needs to make friends, have fun and live that good life she had always promised herself.

"You're right "mother; ``You're right father". I will try my best to be a good girl over the city. A smile crept across their lips as they ruffled her hair. Exactly the pleasant words they've been waiting to hear.

A drop of tears escaped her eyes as she spared them a gaze one more time. She can't believe it. She just can't believe that she will be living in the city. She stood in bewilderment as she saw the woman bringing out some bundle of dollars from her bag and to her utmost display, she gave the money to her parents who later screamed and jumped in happiness.

Who's this woman? What kind of work does she do? How does she get such money? That was the first thought that filled her mouth. It's alright! At least she will be living with a wealthy person who will sponsor her education and do other things for her. She was happy that her parents were happy.

"Rose; remember to be a good girl!" That was their last words to her before she followed the strange woman who wasn't part of their family. "Don't be afraid Okay? Just be free with me! I'm not going to eat you! The woman shrugged at her as they hopped inside the Lexus RX car which she had driven to the village with the help of her driver.

The cold air condition welcomed her in as she shivered. She can't imagine the new life she will be leaving soon. She sniffed her nostrils trying to prevent herself from sobbing more when they drove out of her village. She just can't imagine the new life that awaits her in the outside city.

Rose had slept all through the ride and had woken up to see herself in a beautiful magnifying compound. What the hell? She was so lost in her thoughts when the woman approached her. "let's go inside Clara". There's a lot you haven't seen yet. The woman Shrugged at her as a smile crept through her lips. She just can't wait to experience the City life. She felt like something good was coming her way.

The place was an estate filled with lots of different buildings. She never failed to look around as she found out that there were also hospitals and hotels here as well. She does wonder if this place was somehow like a home for young girls like her. She caught a glimpse of the pregnant teenage girl who was sitting at one corner just crying and immediately she noticed the woman's eyes on the young teenage girl. She walked inside with fear.

"Ma'am please excuse me, who's she?" Emma was perturbed by her questions as she turned to glare at her with a wired smirk. "She's one of the girls here who I found heavily pregnant in the street some months ago and……"so you brought her here?" Rose cut her off as she nodded her head.

"Gosh, that's really so kind of you ma'am!" I just can't imagine myself being in her condition. Rose uttered as they finally reached the building they were heading to.

"Enter that door and someone will direct you on what to do". Emma turned back and walked away as she approached the door and opened it but to her utmost dismay, she was confused. What she saw left her Dumbfounded.
