When I was a baby, my parents abandoned me by the prison gates. It was the prison guards who had saved me. I grew up inside this prison. Countless mysterious and terrifying criminals lived here. Among them was the leader of Hydra-the most powerful underground organization in the world. The super hacker who had breached the computer network of White House was also incarcerated here. So was a strong man who had slaughtered an entire army single-handedly. These people, without exception, all became my teachers. And I, from my humble beginnings as an abandoned orphan, grew up to become Mister X-the mysterious figure feared by all. At first, I thought that my origin would remain a mystery; I thought that I would spend the rest of my life in this prison with my teachers. But one day, my hacker teacher told me that I had a twin brother, and that he was missing! Could he still be alive? I had to find out! So, I left the prison on my own and started the journey in search of my brother and my true origin.
Chapter 1 Mister X
Glouland was a relatively small and remote city in Hosnuoso.
While things were usually quiet there, a sensation came knocking on the unremarkable city's door.
At Glouland Airport.
The motorcade moved towards the airport, their engines roaring into the sky.
Bystanders turned to look in surprise as the cars screeched to a halt. Then, extraordinary people started getting out of the cars.
Both airport staff and common passengers opened their mouths wide in disbelief.
"That's Addy Benson, the boss of the top company Light Group!"
"And that's Diego Rayne, the top real estate agent in Glouland..."
"Oh, my God! What's the mayor doing here? What's happening?"
All the people who stepped out of the cars were all big shots of Glouland.
They all wore expensive-looking suits and enthusiastic expressions, as though they were devout followers who were about to meet God.
These people lined up on both sides of the waiting room as fast as they could.
While they waited, they kept fidgeting-like smoothing the creases in their clothes and fixing their hair.
"What in the world? What are all these big shots doing here?"
"And look at the crazy expression on Diego's face. He's the richest man in Glouland, isn't he? Why does he look like a crazy fan?"
"What are you talking about? I think it looks like he's going to meet the president!"
Everyone talked about this matter in a hushed voice.
Just then, a sleek plane landed steadily on the runway from afar.
When it finally came to a stop, its cabin door opened and the steps leading to it were unfolded.
The people dropped whatever they were doing and stared at the stairs connected to the cabin door.
Everyone wondered what kind of person was worth so much attention.
All the people held their breath in anticipation. Some of them even raised a huge sign.
It said, "Mister X, welcome to Glouland!"
It seemed as though this was the most important moment in these big shots' lives, and the atmosphere was thick with anticipation and tension.
Nobody even dared to blink, fearing that they would miss seeing this so-called Mister X.
Other surprised passengers disembarked from the plane, surprised at the hubbub outside. They quickly scurried off in panic and confusion.
But the big shots didn't mind them. They fixed their eyes on the cabin doorway, checking every passenger that came out. However, there was no sign of Mister X.
Clenching their fists, their nails dug deep into their sweaty palms nervously as they waited.
Just then, a lone man walked out of the plane at last.
"That must be Mister X!"
It wasn't until the young man slowly descended the steps that everyone saw his face clearly.
Wearing a black suit, he was quite handsome. He had a tall figure and sharp eyes that swept across the crowd.
Despite being faced with such a big scene, he remained unfazed and kept on walking.
