The underground club
....
" ~As I thought, you're a battle worth fighting. ~ "
The lady singer with the secret Identity, hiding her face behind the mask finishes her song, faking her smile toward the people inside the bar.
Her song made people start to cheer for her throwing their money at her, craving more songs from her heavenly voice.
Guns, alcohol, drugs, and blood are everywhere.
It's not her first time meeting those kinds of guys, Layla is used to going to this secret club owned by the mafia.
And she has only one job to do.
Just to sing.
Her other co-workers' are selling their bodies for extra cash.
Well, Layla is desperate for money but not enough to do that yet.
She learned that the hard way, after what happened to her sister in this very club
" Hey Bonnie, that's your name, right? Come here serve us, and show us your beautiful thighs at least I'll make sure to pay your club extra cash tonight. "
Some drunk thug said as Layla is trying to remain calm.
" Ugh, he is looking for trouble. "
Mumbling to herself, moving her body to climb down the stage, today isn't the best day for dealing with scumbags.
" My shift ended sir, as this is the time for the club to close, it's 3 AM, and everyone must leave! "
Layla said out loud clapping her hands as some people take their leave and other didn't budge annoying other girls and staring at Layla with anger.
" Hey, Bonnie! Are you an idiot? They're criminals! Let them be. "
One of her friends whispered to her, but Layla doesn't care about it.
She is in rage mode already.
" C'mon, a pretty lady like you, sure she is in debt to work in a place owned by the mafia. "
The same trash guy smirks at her as he is standing checking her brown eyes behind the mask and her golden dress.
His hands move slowly to touch her backside.
" Sorry sir, I don't crave money from your dirty hands. "
Layla grab his hand before turning it behind his back as the cracking sound made the grown man scream.
The same room smells of alcohol and blood, a man sitting calmly editing his draft for his today's play, with so many cups of coffee in front of his table as he finished his third packet of cigarettes.
He isn't paying the crowd much attention, he is gathering his things to leave, wearing a mask representing the devil to match his black suit.
" Oh, there is a fight today as well, so inspiring. "
He is not so much amused because that happens every time he comes here.
" What kind of singer fights against the criminal group? "
He mumbled to himself as the lady with the golden dress grabbed his attention a bit fighting everyone like a retired soldier.
" Her voice is warm when she sings, I must say. "
The man said fixing his suit and mask.
" But not enough to let me drool over her like those pigs. "
The man murmured in disgust as he was about to leave the club, but he flinch at the sight of a grown man the same size as him flying above his head.
" What kind of, a woman is capable of doing that? "
The mysterious man is shocked, as he is still looking at the man who is unconscious on the floor.
" Are you alright director Benjamin? "
The bartender asked the man as Benjamin paid him no attention turning his head again to look at the singer who started to kick everyone's butt.
They even dared to point their guns at her.
" Bonnie, Bonnie! Calm down. "
Their friends kept calling for her which made Benjamin smiles putting his laptop in a safe place near the bartender.
" What a furious lady, Bonnie. "
In front of Benjamin, a thug is holding his gun aiming at Bonnie but Benjamin kicked his knee from behind making the tall thug cry in pain.
" Pardon my rudeness, you're blocking my view. "
Benjamin complained as he is whistling and continued to watch bonnie fighting a full-armed gang by herself.
Benjamin noticed the terrified owner of the bar hiding behind the curtains.
" work can wait, this is exciting. "
Benjamin smiled to himself sitting on an empty chair by a table.
" Another Black Coffee here please! "
He even ordered again,
Layla ( Bonnie's real name. ) overpowered everyone, she was panting exhausted, and wiping her sweat as the owner of the club of course came to check on her and collect his money from the stage.
" I know It was a good decision to hire a warrior and singer in disguise like you I know it from the moment I saw you on that dumpster a few weeks ago. "
The owner of the club that looks like another thug gave her the payment for today as Layla is looking at them in her hand.
" Come on! Seriously? I just protected your damn club from being destroyed. "
Layla is mad at the owner, and he is thinking.
" I told you, it would be easier if you just be a little nicer to the customers... Just sit with them, pour their drinks, serve... "
" Hey! I told you Don't talk about this again, my sister lost her damn eyes from listening to your dirty ideas! "
Layla grabbed his collar in anger as the owner got scared he put extra cash in her hand.
" Okay okay, take this. "
The owner ran as Layla exhaled looking at the two dollars he gave her, she is wiping the blood out of her hands with the table cloths and lips because of the hits she took.
" Oh my god he scared me "
Layla froze when she turned around looking at the well-suited man with the devil mask and an evil grin sitting calmly in the front row of the bar drinking his coffee casually.
More important he is looking at her.
" Enjoying the show huh? I thought I made it clear that everyone should leave. "
Layla murmured enough for him to hear as strangely she did something she had never done before.
She grabbed a chair and kicked someone to sit in front of the man that she doesn't know the name of yet who widened his eyes, impressed.
