Chapter 1 No.1

"Come on... you're already helpless like this, but still stubborn," he quipped at the man lying weakly on top of the hospital ward.

The sentence only responded with a sharp stare by the poor man. Occasionally he wasted a rough breath to dampen his anger.

"I will give you a chance until later tonight to give your final decision, or if not... you must know what I mean," he threatened with a sly smile.

Then he left the poor man in the room with a still gripping atmosphere.

The man who could only lie down and winked his eyes began to sob, lamenting his fate.

He already knew that his life was not long again, but he still could not bear to leave his son, who had not even attended school.

The man could also not part with the wife he loved so much. But he couldn't blame fate. He believed that God's plot was better than what he expected.

"Please, doctor, save my husband. He must still be alive. You have to try harder, doctor."

A woman of about thirty years old pleaded, kneeling before the doctor who had just given her the bad news.

"Sorry Mrs. Stephanie, we can't save your husband," the doctor said.

"No! You must be lying! My husband is still alive if you want to try even harder!" she shouted out loud, becoming the center of attention of the entire hospital.

"Mrs. Stephanie, please calm down! It's a hospital, and you can't be loud like this. Many patients are being treated here, and I hope you can understand it."

The nurse beside the doctor helped the woman stand up and calm her down.

The woman was silent, preferring to sit on the cold floor with her blank gaze. Her tears faithfully dripped down and wet her cheeks.

She still couldn't believe that her husband would leave her alone, even more so her son, who had just celebrated his third birthday.

The husband was eager to see his son go to school, play, and study with his friends. But fate says something else.

It was as if her husband was not allowed by God to see his only son grow into a grown man and live happily with The Princess he loved.

"Stay there!"

Suddenly two policemen were inside the hospital, approaching the woman sitting helplessly on the floor.

"What's this? Why did the police come here?" asked a man in the hospital to the person next to him in a whisper.

"I don't know either, only this time I saw a policeman who came to the hospital in real life," replied the man who had just been questioned. "Could this hospital be operating illegally?"

"We arrested you on charges of premeditated murder," said the older policeman, then pulled the woman in front of him to stand up and handcuffed the woman's arms.

"Police, what's going on here?" the doctor asked, fearing that something would destroy the hospital's reputation, which has been in operation for years.

"Mrs. Stephanie has attempted to kill her husband, we have arrested her, and we will take her to the police station for further interrogation. Apologies for causing a stir here, doctor," he explained to the doctor.

"Wow, it's like a real-life drama."

"Yeah, so she pretended to expect sympathy for others, but it turned out that she killed her husband. It's ironic."

Gossip after gossip is aimed at the woman named Stephanie. Instantly everyone in the hospital whispered to scold her.

While the subject, which becomes gossip, now can only bow resignedly. "So... in the end, it became like this," said that woman slowly, then smiled grimly, lamenting her fate.

"Mommy..." She heard the boy's screams after the woman was outside the hospital.

Yes, it was her son. The woman was crying again. She couldn't bear to leave her poor son.

After her husband left, she also had to go to prison. May her son live happily in such a harsh family environment.

Truly! She was very sorry to be a part of that family. But not with her husband. She is fortunate to fall in love and become the wife of her husband, who now can not accompany her anymore.

"Destroy all the evidence! If you can kill the nurse so as not to leak into someone else's ear."

"But, Master. Wasn't the original plan to send him abroad?"

"Not enough. The Alexander family isn't so stupid as not to investigate this case down to its roots."

"If we kill her, won't it cause new problems and make it even more complicated, Master? You'll also get into trouble if you get caught."

"You underestimated me too much! Just do what I tell you to do. Or maybe, you're the one who's afraid of being caught?"

"No, Master. I've served you for many years. So there's no way I'm afraid of the problems I've faced so often like this. Even if caught, I will keep my mouth shut even until the end of my life, Master."

"Very good. I'm very touched by what you said. May you not break your promise."

"What about the nurse's family, Master? Does it need to be killed as well so as not to cause traces?"

"No need. The family doesn't know anything. Wouldn't I be too cruel to kill them off too?" said the boss with a sly smile.

His men who heard the master's words then laughed loudly. "It's funny, Master. You've done something crueler than this."

The man was silent for a moment, changing his expression that had just laughed now became severe, and made a speech again.

"I'm just reminding you, Master. Don't ignore the little things like sesame seeds, however. Because it could be what will make you accept the consequences of all your deeds."

"You don't have to teach me. Nothing will be able to defeat my ingenuity in this."

"Hopefully, Master."

"Master! It's bad!" exclaimed his newly arrived men in haste, looking panicked.

"What's wrong?"

"Master, the nurse disappeared."

"How could it be?" cried his boss in disbelief.

"Didn't I tell you to watch him for a full twenty-four hours?"

"Sorry, Master. But we've been keeping a close eye on him. Even we've put surveillance cameras on every single thing of his."

"Stupid! Who told you to put the camera down? I just told you to watch him directly!" The boss's emotions overflowed. He kicked hard at the stomach of his men, who had just given the bad news.

"Destroyed all those cameras right now! Don't get caught by anyone."

"Well, Master." His men nodded, immediately stood up, and came out of the room with a dragged step while holding his stomach.

"Looks like you're one step behind them, Master." The men, who were still in the room, smiled. Then tore off the skin mask attached to his face.

"You!"
