Chapter 1 Beginning
Lotanna Ajuzie your regular next door girl, simple, smart, intelligent, and beautiful. The sun ray shines on her face she stirs and grunts then her eyes flutter open. It's another day she rolls out of bed and marks the date of today it's been ten years and she has been performing this ritual every morning hoping that some day HE will come back to her. It feels like yesterday when HE left she thought she might never be able to see him again she felt so sad that he was leaving and now she keeps waiting everyday for him to come back home.
She keeps marking the date of each day and she'll keep doing that until the day HE comes back. She has vowed to herself never to love another other than HIM and she's determined to keep her vow. Only HIM has the key to her heart and she's not willing to give it to another.

She gets ready for lectures on her way down the hall way she meets a friendly smile "Hi Tanna good morning" Taye says. Tanna flashes a quick smile "Morning Taye" she says as they pass by each other. Her phone rings and Jeni flashes on her caller screen she picks up. " Hii hii" Jeni says excitedly "Hii Jeni!" Tanna replies, "where are you? You've been away from school for 2 weeeks" Tanna says and rolls her eyes. "Well I'm somewhere..." Jeni replies with a hint of mischief in her voice "why are you wearing that grey shirt that makes you look like a dork" Jeni replies mischievously. "Wait, how do you know what I'm wearing?" Tanna asks. Because I am right behjnd you a voice says behind Tanna and Tanna turns around only to have Jeni conscript her in a tight hug and shrieks. Tanna hugs her back "I'm baaaack!" Jeni shrieks again, "Why did you go away for so long? Sleeping in that room alone was terrifying Tanna pouts. "Awwnnn you missed me" Jeni fakes an emotional voice, Tanna just rolls her eyes "Just tell me why did you disappear even when I called you you were sort of vague in your reason for living school in such a rush" Tanna says, " Well it's a long story I'll tellyou everything later" Jeni says with a tired expression. "Okay... I have to go for lectures now so I'll see you later" Tanna says, "Okay girlfriend" Jeni says as Tanna rushes to class.

They say love is forever.. but Tanna believes love is eternal and it goes beyond the grave. Her love for HIM will go beyond the grave. No one would ever take HIS place in her heart. She'll wait for him until HE returns and there's no going back in their love. For Tanna love knows no boundaries and she won't allow anything come in between the love she feels for HIM. She holds unto HIS chain.. as she makes her way into the classroom. The very same chain he wore on her neck the night before he left "Wear this as a reminder that I'll be back" he said to her as he locked the chain around her neck 10 years ago and ever since that day till today she has never taken off that chain. She says "It's my source of strength and my hope and remembrance of him" so that chain means a lot to her than anyone can imagine.
