She looked down at the sink and saw the dishes. Shit, did I forget to put them in the dishwasher again? No, she did remember that she had put dishes in the dishwasher. She looked at the oven clock at 9:30. Oh shit I’m dead! She thought.

“You’re late!” he growled. He was five feet and eleven inches, and he had grey eyes and blonde hair. He was in his late forties.

She froze, hoping it was only a beating from him. “I’m sorry Master. I over slept” she confessed. He gave her a look, she knew she had fucked up. “I mean Alpha.”

All three of them looked at her. “You better know who you are talking to, Little Girl!” Hissed Beta Roman. He was the worst of them. He was a little shorter than the Alpha. He had hazel eyes and light brown hair.

Oh fuck! I said that out loud! I’m so dead. She thought.

“Get up!” Alpha Brutus said coldly. “Follow me now.”

She got to her feet. Oh shit I’m fucked, she thought to herself. She looked down at the mess of her blood, “Forget about it! Clean it up after we teach you a lesson on respecting your Alpha,” said Beta James.

She followed Alpha Brutus and Beta James. She was followed by Beta Roman. They went to Alpha Brutus’ room, “James go get the party equipment,” said Alpha Brutus, smiling. “Little Girl, take your shirt off or I will rip it off,” the smile left his face. She removed her shirt, and she was going to remove her bra. Alpha said coldly, “not so fast Little Girl. I want to take my time with you." Then he smiled again and said, “when did you last bleed?”

They chained her up on her knees “I'll ask you again, when did you bleed last?” Alpha Brutus was taking off his shirt. His beta handed him a whip. The whip landed on her back and she screamed out in pain. He smiled. “Are you going to answer him, Little Girl?” Asked James while holding a camera.

“Almost two weeks ago, Master," she said.

She went to her room to cry. Why do I have to have HIS baby? Can’t he find another girl? She thought. She cried herself to sleep. She woke up to people yelling and dancing. What the hell is going on out there? She thought to herself. She came out to the kitchen where the noise was coming from and she asked a girl what the hell was going on. “You don't know?” Alyssa asked.

“No. I’ve been in my room,” Lotus said.

“Alpha Brutus was killed by Alpha Kylo. You’re free!” Alyssa exclaimed.

Today is Submitting Day. The new Alpha takes control of the pack. She felt herself wanting to vomit. Keep it together, she thought, only five more minutes and he'd be done. “I do believe two hundred around in this pack, Alpha” the young man said. “If you are talking about who is here today, it is fifty, Alpha.”

“I am going to see who is here and who abandoned us,” said Alpha Kylo.

She lined up. This was that she would be found out. She had twenty people in front of her. Her best friend Alyssa was right behind her. Now ten people. Oh shit. She thought. Now five. “What’s your name,” Alpha Kylo said. He was six feet tall and had gorgeous blue eyes. He had dark brown hair and tan like Lotus. “I said what’s your name?” He growled.

Lotus looked at Alyssa. “She doesn’t speak to anyone, Alpha. And…” Alyssa said to defend Lotus.

“What do you mean she doesn’t talk to anyone? Is she a mute?” He asked.

“Yes, Alpha, she is a mute,” Alyssa confessed.

“Well, then you tell me both of your names,” Alpha Kylo angrily.

“She doesn't have a name, but Alpha Brutus called her Little Girl. We all call her Lotus. My name is Alyssa,” Alyssa confessed. She had blonde hair and brown eyes, she was skinnier than Lotus. Alyssa was five feet and two inches. She was about twenty- two.

“What in the hell do you mean she doesn’t have a name?! Everyone should have a name,” he looked at Lotus, “Is she registered at all?”

“About that, Alpha Brutus, not to register her the day she was born. Her mother was from a different pack, and her father was killed in battle. So her mom came to her to live, and she fell in love with a guy and Lotus was born and her mother died hours after giving birth. Lotus is a half blood,” Alyssa said.

“Everybody should be registered,” Alpha said. “Why didn’t you all register her?”

“Alpha Brutus told us not to. We couldn’t disobey him.” Alyssa said sadly.

“Does she have a birth certificate?” He asked as she was drinking the drink.

“Yes she does. I do believe,” Alyssa said.

“I got to make a couple of calls,” he cut his hand and poured it into a big cup. He disappeared.

They walked to the house. Lotus sniffed the warm air. “You okay,” Alyssa asked.

Lotus looked around to make sure everyone from the new pack was around, “Yeah, I guess, it’s been awhile since I’ve been out here and it feels great. I am a little bit hungry,” she said, smiling.

Alpha Kylo has gotten off the phone. What the hell do they mean? It’s my problem now. What in the hell am I supposed to do with this girl? Kylo thought to himself. “Alpha Kylo I've found something I need you here please,” it was his beta. He sounded scared and worried.

“Are you okay?! What’s wrong? Where are you” Kylo asked.

“Meet me outside his old office please,” he sounded like he was about to cry.

Kylo met Micheal at the office, “what’s up?” He asked his best friend.

“Watch this,” he said sadly. He pushed a button when the video came up. In the video he saw Lotus on the bed chained up, she was on her knees, her shirt was off.

“I’ll ask you again, when did you bleed last?” Alpha Brutus was also shirtless. He was handed a whip.

The whip landed on her back and she screamed out in pain. He smiled. “Are you going to answer him, Little Girl?” The voice came from behind the camera.

“Almost two weeks ago, Master,” the look of fear in her eyes was the same as today. Lotus was going to her room when she heard the video. “No, no,” she said in a whisper and got louder and she barged in to the office. “Please don’t watch it, turn it off please!” She screamed.

Both the alpha and beta looked at her. The room started to spin and the last thing she remembered was looking at the alpha. She started to fall. As she was falling, Beta Micheal went to catch her but Alpha Kylo caught her. “I don’t know what to say to her,” he had tears in his eyes. “I’m so pissed at him. I don’t care she lied to me. Take her to the hospital. I’m going to call Mom and Dad,” Kylo said, handing Lotus to Micheal.

It had been a couple of hours and Kylo’s parents arrived with Michael’s brother, Dixon, “you! Asshole! She was my mom and sister to asshole! You knew I wanted to come investigate what happened to mom and sister!” He said, looking at alpha, “oh not you Alpha. I was talking to that ass over there. What’s wrong with him,” he asked.

He looked sad and beaten. “Watch and see,” he said, without looking up.

They followed him into the office. He turned on the video. “Oh my goodness! Is she still here,” asked his mom.

“Yeah, she is in the hospital. She passed out” he turned it off, “after she heard this. She is the one who was a mute and was unregistered in our book.”

“Let’s go talk to her,” his dad said.

“If it would be better if I was the one she talked to, you three would one scare her. And did you say she didn’t talk at the ceremony?”

“Yeah, it was her friend who told me that she was a mute,” he said.

It was five years ago. The pack had a party and Lotus was dancing and enjoying herself. This was the first time she was allowed to go to a party. The party was to celebrate another victory over a pack. Lotus felt someone looking at her, the only person was the alpha. He had been drinking, she thought. She was wearing a red skirt and a black shirt. She loved that shirt and skirt. “Hey Little Girl, come here,” said Alpha Brutus. “I want to show you something,” he said, smiling.

She thought to herself, I like when he drinks he’s kinder. She walked up to him. “Yes, Alpha,” she was smiling.

“Come sit with me,” he was patting the seat next to him.

“Okay, Alpha,” she said as she was sitting.

They had been taking about twenty minutes then he asked, “Are you a virgin, Little Girl?”

It took her by surprise, “Yes, Alpha. I’m waiting for my mate,” she said.

Alpha Brutus laughed and said “you’re only a half blood. There's no mate for you. Come here,” he said, pulling her closer to him. She tried to pull herself away, but he was stronger than her.

This was the first time he mentioned her mother.

She understood that Lotus had that dream, it was the only one that bothered Lotus, it was her first time. She opened her eyes and saw Alyssa. They hugged.

“Before seeing her, Dixon, please do not freak out,” Alpha Kylo said.

“ What the hell man, I’m not going to freak out,” he said in a joking tone.

Kylo opened the door and saw both Alyssa and Lotus hugging. He wanted to punish Alyssa for lying but he understood why she said that Lotus was mute. Letting go of Alyssa, she jumped when she saw Alpha Kylo. Alyssa turned around “I’m sorry I…”

“No, you are only trying to save your friend,” he said, cutting Alyssa off. He turned his attention to Lotus, “I have someone who wants to speak with you. She is a good listener,” he said. He had his mom come in.

“Hi, my name is Vicky. I heard your name is Lotus?” She asked.

Lotus nodded. She looked up as she saw three more men coming into the room. One of the men looked like the alpha but older, the other one was around the same height as the alpha but he had black hair and blue eyes. Beta Micheal had the same eyes of Alpha Brutus, but his eyes weren’t so cold as Brutus. He has dark brown hair. He was the same height as Alpha Brutus. She pulled Alyssa in front of her. Vicky stepped in front of all the guys. Dixon saw her, she was the spitting image of his mom. He punched the wall right behind him. He left the room. Beta Micheal followed and so did Alpha Kylo. Lotus jumped as he punched the wall. “Max, you should check on him,” she told her husband. He walked out.

“I didn’t mean to lie,” Lotus said in a shaky voice.

“Sometimes we have to do things that we feel are best,” Vicky said.

Lotus looked like she was about to cry, “I’m really free now.”

“Yes, you are,” Vicky said. “No one ever hurt you,” she added.

“I guess he told you,” Lotus said.

“Kind of. He showed me the video,” she said, walking up toward the bed. “Did you know that he recorded you?” She asked.

Lotus thought for a second, “sometimes he did and sometimes he didn’t. It depended on the mood he was in. Sometimes he would show me what he recorded. And then…” her words fell short.

Alyssa looked up at her and hugged her again. They heard a loud noise outside the room. Lotus jumped and said “What the hell?”

Outside of the room, there was Dixon trying not to get mad. “She looks like mom?! What aren’t you fucking pissed as I am?!” He looked at Micheal and demanded an answer.

Micheal stood there. The doctor walked up to them to go to talk to her. “Hey Doctor, can you talk to me about her,” said Alpha Kylo.

“Yes sir, you know about sexual assault and abuse?” She asked and he nodded. “Well, she is pregnant, I don’t know if she knows not.”

“She’s what?!” Dixon demanded the doctor to answer him. Then he punched another wall and walked out.

Alpha Kylo understood what he was feeling, she did look like Micheal and Dixon’s mom. He also understood that Micheal would blame himself. He looked over at Micheal, regret and sadness were on his face. What would Lily say in a moment like this, he thought to himself. “She would tell you to take her home,” Micheal said, as if he was reading Kylo's mind.

“Hey Doctor, do you mine if I tell her, she’s been enough,” Alpha Kylo asked.

“Kylo, please link up with your mom. I think it would be better if she told her,” Max said.

"What the hell is going on out there? Is everything okay? Is everyone okay?" Vicky linked up with Micheal, Kylo, and Max.

"Dixon punched a wall after we learned some news," Max answered. "And Kylo is still talking to the doctor."

"What news," she asked.

The look on Vicky's face was one of disbelief. Lotus had seen the look on Vicky's face. "Is everything okay?' Lotus asked.

"I don't know how to say that," she looked down, "I was told you are pregnant."

Lotus looked down, and Alyssa hugged her.
