Chapter 1 FRANKENSTEIN
Rumour has it that the country's best known Construction and Mechanics Company, Fz (efzee) Limited was owned by Frankenstein. Knowing the stories attached to the name "Frankenstein", people began to take the rumours too far and plus the fact that the owner of Fz was recently declared dead was like a backing to these rumours.
Fz Construction and Mechanics Company limited began to go down and was going bankrupt under the control of Dominic Vedigo, the so claimed brother of Mr Frankenstein Vedigo. The top notch Fz is now the lowest of all lows.
(FZ COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT)
"Yeah! I heard too. You know, I use to beg to be employed here but now.. humph!(brushes her hair with here hand) they're begging me to stay... hahaha." An employee named Mika said while her coworkers laughed.
"What are you guys gathered here talking about?" Winter, the new employee walked in and asked upon seeing the others gather on Mika's desk.
"And who are you to pork your nose in what doesn't seem to concern you?" Mika asked rudely making the others giggle.
"Do you have something against me? Ever since I started working here, you've just been so cruel." Winter said looking Mika in the eyeball.
"Hey, hey.. Winnie.." A girl walked in with a Man by her side and called drawing all attentions to her. "The Boss is here and I need you to help with something." She took Winter's bag and gestured Winter.
"Sure, Ju." Winter smiled and followed her.
"Miss Sara, please take care of this mess." Liam, the man who came with Ju said pointing to the scattered papers on Mika's desk. He followed the other two.
"Gosh! Liam just called my name." Sara one of the female employees said blushing.
"Plus, he trusts you enough to take care of the paper work he assigned to Mika yesterday." One of the girls added make Sara's face as red as a tomato.
"Shut up." Mika said angrily that her crush gave her work to Sara, the nerdy girl on glasses.
"Shouldn't you guys be worked up as to what your idol Liam would need the New girl's help with..." Alvin, one of the male employees said making the girls go into deep thoughts.
(TOP FLOOR, VICE PRESIDENT'S OFFICE)
"Liam, I am yet to see your works. Don't you love this job of yours?" The vice president, Matteo said smirking at Liam.
"Sir, I and My Assistant are working on something. Letting me leave the company will be a big loss and you know it." Liam said boldly but not overstepping his boundaries.
"I give you a month to impress me then. And who is she?" Matteo said referring to Winter.
"A new recruit." Liam said and walked out and Matteo while the two ladies followed suit.
(DIRECTOR'S OFFICE)
"I hate that Man. (Liam yelled, giving the wall punch and he bled) why Frank... Why?!!" He muttered in pain almost breaking down in tears.
"It's okay to get angry and cry, Sir. Just let it all out." Ju said.
"I know, Ju but, it hurts in here." Liam said holding his chest, referring to his heart.
"Have a chamomile tea, it calms the mind." Winter said out of the blue, placing the teacup on his desk.
She smiled at him and he gave her a small smile.
"Frank... Are you teasing me right now?" Liam said almost in audibly to no one, looking into the teacup.
"We'll take our leave Now, Sir." Ju said holding Winter by the wrist.
"Ok! Take care you two.. and thanks Win." He said and backed them taking a sip of the Chamomile tea.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE.
"What was that all about, Ju?"Winter asked.
"Let's talk about it at home..go get to work." Ju said waving at Winter to leave with a small smile.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OFFICE
"When is all this sorrow gonna end?" Ju asked herself almost sinking into her comfy swivelling chair.
"Why do I keep running into sad and sorrowful people? Well, except winter." She giggled at the thought of Winter.
"Frank.. Whoever you are... Sir Liam misses you. If you are in heaven, please look after him and do not let him suffer... Am Jumana Cruise, his Assistant... Hmmmfff!" She sighed and closed her eyes.
DEPT. OF COMMUNICATION
"Sadness... Oh! Sadness... When will you flee this world? Oh well." Winter said taking a seat in her cubicle.
"Why did Liam call you?" A voice from nowhere filled with hate and envy asked. Ah! It was Mika Lopez.
"And what's your business?" Winter answered firing back and crossing her arms below her breast.
"Winter, can I see you?" Sara asked from her cubicle which was close to hers.
"Sure." Winter said ignoring Mika and walking over to Sara's desk. "Yes?"
"Am Sara Payton. Can we be friends?"
