Chapter 1 Prologue
TWISTED, LIES, LOVE, BETRAYAL
"...you've gotta keep it low Jordan'" Colette whispered harshly to Jacey who crawled up behind her. While she wondered how on earth they ended up in such a tiny space.
As they crawled steadily outta the claustrophobic space. Suddenly, the air vent gave way to their free fall.
They stifled their shrieks and screams and fell with a loud thud on the floor. Searching blindly through the dark, Colette found a torch.
"See I'm the smart one!" Colette said pout and all Jordan did was to roll his eyes. He kept on moving forward as he tried to get familiar with their new surrounding. Everything seemed so goddamn familiar.
"Whatever!" Was all he got for the rolling of eyes. "So where do we go to from here?" Colette asked sarcastically. "I thought you were...ooppps...I mean to say that you are the almighty way finder,huh?" She asked irritably.
"Yeah,duh,that's what i am anyways." He said with finality in his voice as he tried not to snicker which made Colette stifle a giggle.
Step by step, box by box they stepped, then all of a sudden, foot steps were heard, they weren't able to see anything except for the aura of light around them given by the torch.
Jordan suddenly felt his overprotective instincts come on. "Hold on a minute Cee!" Colette paused abruptly like a soldier. No one dare moved and still there was this sound as if someone was trying to catch up with them. They both found themselves trying to figure out the sound.
It was not until they heard the familiar hissing sound. That's when it occurred to them.
Colette blinked her eyes furiously and blindly as she was trying to keep the tears from falling, she grasped Jordan's arm while he assured her with a side hug.
"Run!!!" Jordan screamed but was silenced when a cold hand firmly gripped on his shoulder. Swallowing the invisible lump in his throat.....
