About two boys who where separated by birth and came back together after a long journey of life.
Chapter 1 Day of birth
On13th
of June 1986 around 1 o'clock, two boys where born and where named Clifford and Richard at the hospital not far from there vicinity.
When Theresa heard the cries of her babies and happily drifted to sleep,unknownly to her one of her child was sold to a rich family that only have two girls without a son. The nurses carried Clifford and Richard to bath them after their father Simon has given them names, the rich family took Clifford and their dead child was given as exchange for Clifford.
Theresa woke up only to see her husband crying and she thought it was tears of joy only to turn to see only one child, she then asked about the other child, she was told that the child during the period they were cleaning him, and they tried everything they could to help but it was already late for the baby. After hearing that Theresa cried like a mad woman who had lost her child in a struggle. At about 5 o'clock when saw the dead child she consold herself and her husband, after which she ate and cuddles the other child to her boosom and they slept together.
After two days of staying at the hospital Theresa and her child were discharged and she went home carrying Richard while the husband held the bags.
The family that adopted Clifford brought him to their house and named him cliberth without knowing that has a name already which is Clifford, cliberth started to live in his new family with the odogwus and he has two sisters and a very rich father and a mother who is a house wife.
Cynthia who is now cliberth's mother gave him breast milk but that made him to suffer a server illness which later supsided, cliberth beginning from the day he was brought to the house remained quite,he did not cry but had nightmares around 1 o'clock. Richard on the other hand always disturbs and loves eating but quite somehow and most importantly very outspoken.
As time went by and the boys especially Richard who is being brought up in a middle class home was very vibrant and has the Sense of adults at a small age.
The boys were enrolled into nursery school at the age of four, Richard was in holy rosary missionary school and cliberth in Alpha British owned by a British lady who resides in Nigeria. As a small boy cliberth was pampered because he was the only boy in the house, anything he wants was given to him instantly, the mother and his sister shina provides everything for him but he's second sister Ann does not, she hates cliberth and vowed never to be kind to him even now he is still tender.
At the age of six Richard has already entered primary school cause he was fast in learning and also a brilliant outspoken boy, who looks not on the present,at his age he already knows that his parents especially his father was suffering to give him a smooth life and his mother always cautions him whenever he did something bad and she never lose the chance of beating him each time he leaves his assignments and play football, Simon and Theresa where doing there possible best to give him the best of good manners and approach.
Richard was at school that Monday morning sitting on his desk with other of his classmates, who where making noise and disturbing the peace of the class, when there class room teacher came in and wanted to teach but the noise was too much so she brought out her cane and flogged everyone even the innocent ones partaked in the flogging, after the flogging the class became quite as a grave yard, that day she taught them social studies and her topic was "MY RIGHT AS A CITIZEN OF NIGERIA" and she explained to their understanding and left the class.
As the teacher left the class Richard followed suite and pleaded with her to hear him out and not to flog him for what he is about to say and the teacher agreed to listen to him and not flog him , with this Richard told the teacher that she took his right as a student, cause if the government can take away the right of a citizen then that means she the teacher took away his right from him today,when the teacher heard this she was somewhat confused and pleaded with him to explain and Richard explained to her how she took his right in the class about right to Fair hearing and judgement and it is related to what happened in the class cause he was among the innocent ones that she flogged, after hearing that the teacher felt bad and apologized for flogging the innocent ones and congratulated him for being so bold and courageous and also advised him to always be a role model to others, with this she left and Richard was satisfied and happy again.
