She stood in his presence faced down as he continued to fume and rage in anger. She was an ordinary maid that had no right to date his first son and heir, how dare she!

"How dare you the audacity of a low life try to seduce and date my son!" He growled in anger.

This was Aldo Elrod. The wealthiest man in country Z and also the chairman of the Elrod Group.

His son was right there with her, but all he could see and blame was her because she was an ordinary maid.

"Pack all of your filthy stuffs and get the hell out of my house this minute!" He declared suddenly.

His son had to come in here. "Dad please it's raining heavily outside"

"Shut up Austin! How dare you stoop so low to have anything to do with a nonentity after all I've taught you!" Alo fired back at his son.

"I'm sorry father" Austin apologized in a barely audible tone.

"Leave while I'm still being nice" he told Avyanna and stormed away.

Immediately he left, Austin tried to touch her but she waved his hand off. "Don't!"

At this, she ran away trying hard to control the emotions flowing through her.

Austin Elrod stared at his running first love, and sighed bitterly. At twenty two, he was still being directed by his arrogant wicked father.

Immediately she got to her room in the maids quarters all of the emotions she had been trying to control burst all out. Pain, anger, betrayal... Everything all came out at once.

First she was to suffer alone for what was not only done by her just because she was a nobody? Second she had to deal with all of the gossips and contempt coming from her fellow maids.

"Damn you Austin!" She cursed with all of her heart as tears continued streaming down her face.

She packed the little to nothing clothes she had, and got ready to leave the mansion to nowhere.

She was just an eighteen year old orphan with no family. Austin was the only person she considered as family but who knew he was going to deny her this way.

She walked out of the room to meet the disdainful stares on the faces of all of the maids.

"What was she thinking when she seduced young master? Was she trying to become a mistress or a rich man's daughter-in-law" a maid sneered with contempt.

Ignoring them, she dragged her feet heavily on the ground and walked out of the maids quarters into the heavy rain.

Once she was in the rain, she burst into fresh tears. For the nth time, she was the only one that did this. Why should she be the only one to get punished?

"I shouldn't have agreed" she murmured in tears.

Her agreement three months ago led to this. If only she had ignored Austin continuously just like she had always done all the years, she would still be in the mansion working and earning money. Where would she go? Who would she run to in this dark and wicked world?

She continued dragging her heavy feet towards the gate drenched in the rain.

Once she was at the gate, she looked back once more to stare at the mansion she had been working for over five years.

"I'll come back for you Aldo Elrod. I do not know how, but I'll surely do" she murmured to herself determined and at this, a bodyguard in a raincoat came to her and opened the gate.

" What were you thinking when you seduced him uhn?" he whispered to her in disdain.

" Goodbye and never come back again " he added and immediately she was outside the compound, he banged the gate on her.

From inside, Aldo watched her leave with a sneer. " Worthless whore" he cursed in between gritted teeth.

At the same self hour, Austin was watching from his room too. He sighed helplessly as he watched the only girl he had ever loved in his twenty two years of living walk away in the rain without knowing if he was ever going to meet her again.

Hopping into her mom's room happily, sixteen years old Keziah went straight to fling the curtains open and jumped on her mom's bed shaking the woman who was sleeping peacefully.

"Close back the curtain Kez" her mom told her sleepily blocking her eyes with the back of her palm to avoid penetration of sun rays.

This was Avyanna Caddel,adopted daughter of the Hale's family and President of the Hale's Group.

" Nahh wake up mom it's a beautiful Saturday morning. Let's go have breakfast with the rest of the family" Kez protested poking her mom.

" Stop it okay?" Avy stopped, finally opening opening her eyes.

Keziah smirked with satisfaction. "Now let's go downstairs"

"Not yet,I have to brush my teeth" Avy told her.

" I'll wait then" Kez pouted and laid flat on the bed staring at the white painted ceiling.

Avy smiled and got out of bed. " As your lordship pleases your majesty" she said playfully, imitating the bow of a maid.

"Stop it mom" Kez burst into laughter.

Avy stared at her laughing daughter,and sighed lightly. She was really thankful she met the Hale's family who brought her in and made sure she hadn't aborted her baby. That baby is her only source of joy now.

"You've grown up really well sweetheart" she said out of thought,tears clouding her eyes.

"Huh? What did you just say mom?" Kez asked absentminded.

"I said you've grown up so well" Avy repeated slowly.

"Ohh mom don't be silly okay? You're crying wipe your tears" Kez said and moved to her as she hugged her.

The hug lasted for a while before Avy released herself.

"I'll be right back my love"

"Okay mom"

Avy chuckled and walked into the bathroom.
