The moment I saw him, I felt everyone around me disappear. My senses were magnified. The smell of the forest became more intense, the sound of the lake more distinct. His face seemed familiar. I have a strong desire. I felt as if I had entered another world.
Chapter 1 Observation assignment
The bright moonlight was shinning on the lake, where I saw my human side again. I have been living as a wolf for weeks. During this time, I hunted deer and rabbits for living. And I ran freely every day. The moon heard my howling every night. Don't judge me, that's how Lana live.
In my pack, the Full Moon Pack.There are main two parts. One lived in the forest, like me, who live as a traditional way. Most of the time, we shift to our wolf form. We run, hunt, growl like a real wolf. We think this form of life will lead us approach our Moon Goddess.
On the other hand, there is another part who lived in the city. Most of the time, they lived as a human. Some of them even have a career in the human society. They rarely turn into wolves. Most of the time, they wear suits and ties and have fancy parties. In their words, werewolves are just a part of who they are. The closer you get to humans, the more advanced you get.
Our life doesn't have many connection. I really like my lifestyle, being a werewolf, I like to run freely. But I am also longing for human life. I've always wanted to see another part of the pack. But I'm sure they'd despise me for being a little wolf from the woods.
So, for the first time in weeks, I turned to human again because my best friend told me that there is a big party in that part and they need many waitresses. So my best friend Sandy and I decided to give it a shot.
"Hey, Lana. You're here. God, put some clothes on." Sandy found me beside the lake and covered her eye when she saw me naked.
Actually, as a werewolf, the time we turned to wolf, our clothes are torn apart. So most of the time, I don't wear anything when I shift.
"Sandy, hey! I didn't carry any clothes with me. Do you have any extra?" I asked.
"How am I supposed to have extra? Just wait in here. I will bring you some." she said and rushed to her house.
The time when I was waiting for Sandy, I heard someone's coming. Since I didn't wear anything, I decided to hide behind a tree.
"Oh My Gosh, how do those wolves live in here. It's full of mud and leaves." a blond girl said.
"Yes, I can not imagine that." the other girl said.
They looked very pretty. The blonde girl's hair cascaded down to her waist. She has a very good figure. Her skin looks smooth. Nothing like my rough skin from running too much. The other girl was equally beautiful. I could smell their perfume from a distance, something we rarely use here. The scent will frighten the deer, and they'll run away before we can start hunting.They were wearing perfect makeup and a silk dress. It doesn't seem to come from our part of the world.
At that time, Sandy came back with a shirt and a jean. She called me to put on my clothes.
The two girls heard Sandy's voice. They stopped and look for the source of the sound. Sandy kindly asked them if they needed help. However,they were very dismissive.
"We're here to finish our werewolf observation assignment," they said
"Aren't you werewolves?" Sandy asked. Because we're so hidden, it's almost impossible for humans to break in.
"We are, but we're not like you. "One girl giggled
"Not like us?""Yeah, look at your hair. It's all tangled up like straw. You're dressed like a servant of mine. "said the girl with black hair.
"We would never have come to this forest if it hadn't been for our homework. You're the only ones living the original werewolf life, which helps us with our homework. "Said the blonde girl
I can't leave my best friend there alone listening to their sarcasm.
So I stood up to Sandy and said, 'Enough, you two. "
The blonde girl was clearly intimidated by my naked state.
"Is this your thing? I've only heard of werewolves turning naked, but I didn't know you were actually like that."the girl with black hair said."Did you wear tight dresses when you changed? "Sandy said
"At least we don't walk naked into the woods."Sandy handed me my clothes and I quickly put them on. I don't know why I'm a little embarrassed. Not just because they saw me naked, but because they laughed at our lifestyle.
As soon as I got dressed, blond girl started her talk show again. Are you going to the "Unpop club", dressed like that? "
I look at my shirt and jeans. They are certainly not as gorgeous as her satin dress, but comfort is the most important in jungle life
"Where have you two been? Tim and I have been finding you everywhere." a tall and handsome man came out and asked.
