Abigail Coleman, feisty and hardworking is not happy with her life and has her world crumbling even more when she receives a call that the one thing she has to her name was about to be taken from her, her family land. She fights tooth and nail for what was about to be taken forcefully from her and her family, and faces threats and a risk of loosing her job. She meets Nathan Harris, rich and handsome and is smitten by him. He offers her a marriage of convenience in a year in order to please his mother and keep his company and for Abigail to keep her family land. She falls in love with Nathan during the course of her marriage but later finds out that the drunk driver who was responsible for the death of her father all these years was Nathan Harris. Pregnant, in love and devastated she finds herself at crossroads and at the mercy of the public and her contract. Abigail finds herself seeking revenge with her contract husband, unable to breach her contract terms and has everything to loose if she fights back what she feels. Would she loose all she has for love or go extra lengths to keep get her revenge and keep what is rightfully hers?

Chapter 1 The call

The Senate of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara has served expulsion letters to two students as a result of their involvement in examination misconduct during the 2022/2023 academic session First Semester Examinations.

In a statement on Tuesday by Balogun David, Head, Public Relations Unit, CUSTECH, Osara, said the affected students are: Ogunmadu O. John with Matriculation Number: 22L1BL0273 of the Department of Biological Sciences and Edibo Favour with Matriculation Number: 21L1SE0021 of the Department of Computer Science.

According to the statement, the decision for the two students to be given the marching order from CUSTECH on account of examination misconduct was taken during the 14th Regular Meeting of the Senate which was held on Thursday, 12th October, 2023.

The Senate further directed the Public Relations Unit to pass across the information of the two expelled students on CUSTECH social media platforms to serve as a signal and deterrent to all the students that the University has zero tolerance for examination misconduct.
