He wants her to beg for him before he grants her desires. Every day is an agonizing experience for Avery. Gino is not what she anticipated. He possesses the ability to make her crave his touch. While she is not inexperienced, compared to Gino, she might as well be a virgin. Gino is infatuated with Avery. He yearns to hear her pleasure, to feel her wrapped around him, and to consume every part of her being. However, he must remember that she is merely a plaything, meant to be enjoyed until it is time to return her to her previous life. Does he have the strength to let her go, or will Gino come to the realization that there are moments when he cannot have everything he desires?

Chapter 1 1

Chapter One

Avery Finch had never been more frightened than she was on that Friday night, as she read the note left by her father. He had been hospitalized the previous week with severe injuries, including broken legs, fingers, and bruises. Despite his condition, he reassured her not to worry. She had only discovered his whereabouts the day after, realizing the extent of his injuries. It was a grim situation.

As she counted the week's earnings, fear gripped her. Her father had confessed to her that he owed money to Gino Mazza. The mention of Gino's name alone was enough to terrify anyone. She had deliberately avoided the presence of the mafia men in town, but with Gino owning every single business, it was impossible not to know who he was and what he did. She had hoped to have the expected twenty thousand dollars that night but only had five thousand. This was not something a person her age should be concerned about at this point in her life. She hadn't realized how badly her father's business was doing until now. In ten minutes, Gino or one of his associates would arrive to collect the debt, or potentially resort to other means.

She cherished her mobility and relied on her legs for work. During the week, she assisted at a childcare center, helping the many parents who had to work long hours. It wasn't an easy job, but she yearned to be there rather than fretting about the impending situation.

She closed her eyes and pressed a hand to her chest.

Regardless of the circumstances, she had to take action.

The shop's doorbell rang, and despite her trembling, she approached it. Her father ran a small fruit and vegetable store, which he had operated for nearly two decades. The sight of the visitor, a large and muscular man, confirmed that it was Gino Mazza.

"I'm looking for Mr. Finch," he stated, his voice cool and composed.

She, on the other hand, was anything but composed. "He's still in the hospital."

"You must be his daughter."

Any hope of him leaving dissipated. She nodded, stepping back to allow him entry.

With her heart racing, she returned to the counter and positioned herself behind it, creating some distance. Gino entered the shop accompanied by four burly men. Though they were not as imposing as Gino, she wondered why he needed them. He held the power. She had no intention of resisting or running away. She held her head high, ready to confront whatever was to come.

"My dad informed me about his debt to you." She detested how her hand shook as she offered him the bag. "I'm afraid I can't... there's not enough revenue from the week."

Gino did not take the bag. Instead, he removed one of his gloves and grabbed an apple. "So your father couldn't be bothered to come and see me himself?"

"I told you, he's in the hospital." She did not even want to think about the mounting medical bill.

"I don't care. I've seen men with broken legs pay me their debts."

"I was not available to bring him. I'm sorry, but I cannot provide you with the money."

"This is not one of your debts to pay, Avery."

She hesitated. How did he know her name?

Gino smiled.

However, it was not a friendly smile. It dripped with mockery. "You think I am unaware of the family members of those who owe me money. I find that loved ones can be powerful motivators."

"Do you wish to harm me?" Avery asked. "It won't help you. Hurting me will not get you the money."

"No, but I can bring more harm to your father. A human body has many bones to break."

Gino snapped his fingers, and she saw one of his guards start to leave.

"No!"

She quickly darted around the counter, an impulsive mistake.

Before she could seek refuge elsewhere, Gino had his fingers wrapped around her neck. She understood the damage he could inflict upon her. She was completely at his mercy. She gulped, hoping to suppress the tears.

She refused to appear weak. Begging always left a bitter taste in her mouth.

"Please, spare him," she pleaded.

The man left the shop, and she screamed.

"How could you do this? He's an elderly man. He can't function with more broken bones. Leave him alone."

He applied no pressure to her neck, and she glared at him, waiting for him to hurt her. Her screams would go unheard. She was utterly alone.

Mazza and his cronies could do whatever they pleased with her. Her body would eventually be discovered... or perhaps not.

"Leave us," Gino instructed.

She clung to his arm, her nails digging into the fabric of his jacket. The material was too thick for her to cause any lasting harm.

The door closed behind the men, but they did not walk away from the shop. With her heart pounding, she shifted her attention back to the man who possessed all the power.

"You're an intriguing woman," he remarked.

"What?"

He tightened his grip around her neck, not enough to cut off her breath but sufficiently alarming her for a few moments.

She waited, bracing herself for the worst. Yet, he released his hold.

"You're the first woman to plead for a man's life. I find that intriguing."

"He's my father."

"Yes, but when faced with the prospect of their lives at risk or their bones being broken, most people do not want my attention. Yet here you are, concerned about your father's well-being."

"It does not make me exceptional."

"Do you know who I am?" he inquired.

"Everyone knows who you are."

"And yet, your mouth continues to babble instead of remaining shut." He tightened his grip on her neck.

"Please spare my father," she begged. She knew she was in danger now. There was no chance of survival.

"You are in no position to negotiate with me."

"How about being a decent human being?"

He threw his head back and laughed. "A decent person? Really? You think that argument will win me over?"

"I am not trying to win you over. I am merely trying to protect my father. Perhaps you do not understand the concepts of loyalty or love. My father means everything to me, and this shop is all he has left."

"If this shop means so much to him, why did he borrow money from me?" Gino questioned.

"We have been struggling. I do not wish to divulge all of my family's troubles to you."

"Not good enough. I deal with prostitutes, addicts, and greedy bastards. I want my money."

She thought of the imposing man entering the hospital. No one would stop him. The nurses would likely turn a blind eye.

"Please, I will do anything. Do not harm my father." She detested the desperation evident in her voice. Her father had always told her never to allow a man to reduce her to begging, yet here she was, pleading on his behalf. "I have nothing special to offer you, Mr. Mazza. When my father is well, he will work diligently. I can guarantee it."

Gino continued to gaze down at her. She had no inkling of his thoughts, and deep inside, she knew she did not desire even a glimpse into his mind.

This man was exceedingly dangerous.

Look at the way he held her neck. If he so desired, he could snap it and make her suffer. She could not believe she was pleading with this lunatic.

Gino suddenly nodded and grinned.

But it was not a pleasant grin.

Her heart continued to pound.

"Very well, I will spare your father. He will have the opportunity to work off his debt the hard way. However, in return, I claim you."

"What?"

"I am not finished. You will learn not to interrupt me. You will belong to me. I will do with you as I please, for as long as it suits me. You will be at my beck and call, day and night. That is the only deal you will receive. Take it or leave it. You have about five minutes before my man reaches the hospital."

"Is that the only deal you are willing to offer?" she asked.

"Yes."

"I must negotiate."

"No negotiation. You are mine. Every part of you belongs to me. Now, accept that deal, or your father will suffer greatly."

Tick-tock.

No, she could not do this.

"Deal."

There was no way she could allow her father's agony to persist. She would do whatever was necessary to keep him alive and well.

The woman he had just acquired possessed nothing remarkable. Gino Mazza understood everything about Avery Finch. Whenever someone sought money from him, he made certain to discover their vulnerabilities. Avery belonged to her father, and in coming to the shop that night, he had been curious about how he could manipulate the situation.

However, Avery was different. Despite her fear of him, she fought back.

He found that intriguing.

Most women readily offered their bodies, and in a way, Avery had done the same, although she seemed oblivious to it.

With an entire city at his beck and call, this woman, with her determination and foolishness, had awakened something inside him. She attempted to appeal to his compassionate side. She needed to understand that he possessed no softness.

For as long as Emily can remember, she has wanted to overcome her shyness and explore her sexuality. Still, everything changes when she receives an invitation to visit one of the town's most prestigious BDSM clubs, DESIRE'S DEN. On the day she chose to peruse the club, she noticed three men, all dressed in suits, standing on the upper level, near the railing. Despite her limited vision, she persisted in fixating on them. Their towering statues belied the toned bodies concealed by their sharply tailored suits-or so she could tell. The hair of two of them was short and dark, and the third had light brown-possibly blond-hair that reached the shoulders. The dark, crimson background incised their figures, exuding an air of mystery and strength. They stood in stark contrast to the unfiltered, primal energy that pulsed through the club. Shocked by the desires these men aroused in her, she was disappointed to learn that they were masters seeking a slave to divide and conquer. She couldn't afford the fee, and she also realized that they were outside her league. Emily hurriedly left the club, feeling disappointed and depressed, unaware that she had also caught the group's attention. A world of wicked pleasure, three handsome men.
