AURORA'S POV

I am not a morning person, waking up so early is like a nightmare for me. I sigh as i heard my dad's voice screaming my name at the top of his lungs.

'Why would he be calling me like that' i thought in my mind. He usually calls me by pet names like '𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘺' '𝘓𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘨' '𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦'

At first i thought it was one of my brothers, Noah or Matthew. Noah is the oldest and Matthew is the youngest.

"Aurora" i heard his voice again, this time in my room.

"Good morning Dad" i grumbled

"Morning love, get up it's time for breakfast"

"Ok dad, i will be out in a minute"

"Nope, i know you will go back to sleep"

"Like father like daughter" i said which made him laugh out loud on his way out of my room. I went after him to the kitchen.

Most times mom gets so annoyed with how soft my dad is with my brothers and I.

'Just drag her lazy ass out of the bed' 'Honey stop going easy on these boys' 'Young lady don't let me repeat myself' 'Honey save your strength, a bucket of cold water on their sleeping body always does the magic'

Yep those are my mom's word when she gets impatient with any of us. She sometimes scold dad for spoiling me so much. She is sweet like that.

𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘮.

I rolled my eyes at that thought.

The last time mom pampered me and called me pet names was when i was ill. She turns into a mother hen when anybody in the family is ill. She always make sure we stay healthy.......That means no junk food.

Mom made out a time which we all talk together as a family, about our daily activities and to share our thoughts or problems.

I don't really like this 'family time' because it is held on Saturday, and Saturday is our lazy, relaxation, stress free day. Noah pretty cool with it. I think it's because he doesn't live with us anymore so he doesn't get much scolding from our strict mother.

My younger brother Matt doesn't like this moment at all because, he thinks it's the time dad reveals all our dirty laundry to mom.

My Dad is a famous lawyer, cold to the world but a softie to his family, he the cool parent who doesn't punish his kids, so he snitches on us so mom can do the punishing.

My mom is a fashion designer who owns a cloth line and company. She the strict parent but she loves her family so much. My mom would take a bullet for any of us without a single thought.

"So i got a news i wanna share with everyone." Dad said taking a sip of coffee.

We were all seated at the dining having our breakfast.

"What is it honey?" Mom asked softly.

My brothers and i were all eager to know what the news was all about.

"You all know how difficult the Johnson's case was, yeah?"

"Oh yes, yesterday was the last hearing" i said.

"What happened?" Noah asked him.

"Well i won the case" he grinned.

"What! That's a billion dollar law suit" Matt fist bumped the air.

"Hell yeah!! That's my dad" Noah exclaimed.

"I'm proud of you daddy" i hugged him.

"I'm not surprised, i knew you could do it" mom grinned proudly and kissed him.

"Ewww" Matt said covering his face. Noah made a disgusted face, like he was gonna puke.

"This calls for celebration" mom said ignoring my brothers voiceless protects to their romance.

"Yes!" I smiled.

My ringing phone was distracting me from the movie i was watching. I took the call without checking for the caller.

"Bitch!!! Why ain't you taking my motherfucking calls?" I heard before i could alter a word.

Only one person can talk to me like this without getting a punch from me, and that's Anastasia, my crazy but loving friend.

Anna has been my friend since high school and now we are both attending the same university. Anna is my only friend, we have been through thick and thin and i love her as much as she loves me.

"Hello to you too Anna, i am fine thank you" i said

" Fu*k you" i rolled my eyes.

"I love you too"

"Oh stop you know i can't stay mad at you when you're acting all cute and adorable" i laughed.

"You were not mad, just being dramatic" i giggled and she joined in.

"How are you doing? How is Paris treating you?" I asked her.

Anna is in paris spending a brief vacation with her millionaire boyfriend. They have been together for two months, i think.

"Babe Paris is fu*king lit, it is all i dreamt it to be. I'm so happy" she squealed. It is her first time going to paris. She has been to a lot of countries but not Paris.

"Good, I want you to be happy" i told her seriously.

"Thanks, same here babe"

"So did you get any call or mail, on the job you applied for?" Anna said

It's time for my Internship, so I'm searching of a compatible place to work. I wanted to move to Las vegas for my Internship, in my uncle's company.

Uncles Sam is dad's younger brother, he is so nice and never said no to my siblings and I. But mom objected to that, she thinks my uncle will spoil me so much and get me used to his luxurious extravagant lifestyle.

My parents are rich, i mean my dad is a successful law and mom is a successful fashion designer.

My brothers and i never lacked anything but we didn't always get what we wanted. That was my parents way of teaching us not to live an overly luxurious life.

"No, but Mom found me a place, it's a tech company owned by one of her client/friend. I will go for an interview on Monday."

"That is great Rora" she screamed excitedly.

"I wishes i will get a spot there when i come back, because i wanna have my IT with you"

"Awww, i hope so too"

"Yeah......i gotta go Rora" i heard her boyfriend's voice in the background whispering.

"Sure, stay safe, i love you"

"I love you more" she said i can hear the smile in her voice. I couldn't help but recognize her boyfriend's voice in the background.

"Don't forget to wrap it up, i don't wanna be an aunty anytime soon" i laughed and hung up the call before she could say anything else.

I knew she was gonna cuss me out if i didn't hang up the call immediately.

I can't stop thinking about this new job, i don't know what the environment is gonna be like, although mom assured me it was a lovely place. I still can't help but be anxious.

I still have the whole weekend to get my shit together, so i know i will be fine.
