How does it feel to be virtually dating but you two have never met each other? Once you meet, you turn out to be working partners on the central island of Indonesia, Bali. Can they get to know each other? Or do they not know each other?
The sky began to darken, the sun did not want to show itself anymore after returning to its home, alternating with the moon that had appeared in the middle of the sky whose color was getting blacker. The moonlight illuminated the city of Denpasar Bali with its half shape, until it gradually became a crescent. A girl with her hair pulled back in curls was wearing a long black dress with shoulder-length sleeves and high heels in the same color as her dress, black.
She, along with her uncle and two older cousins, got out of the car and headed to a restaurant in the Denpasar area of Bali. The restaurant was quite luxurious, with a VVIP room that looked more private so that anyone outside the room could not hear their conversation, especially in terms of business. Ian, Mr. Galang and the other two employees had arrived at the restaurant first and sat down on chairs. On the dining table, there were already 5 candles, some bottled mineral water and a menu book of the food to be ordered.
Not waiting long, Mr. Supri came along with Nurul, Mas Prass, and Mas Anto. They greeted him by bowing their heads as well as Mr. Galang who stood up followed by the others and straightened his head again.
"Sorry, sir. We're late," Mr. Supri felt a little guilty for his tardiness.
"Not really, sir. We just came too, please sit down," Mr. Galang who also smiled. They sat down, Nurul happened to sit opposite Ian and looked at each other.
"You!!!" both of them pointed at each other and said something simultaneously when they realized that they had met before.
"Really? You already know each other?" Asked Mr. Galang confusedly while glancing at Mr. Supri. Mr. Supri who knew nothing about their problem was also confused.
"What! Do you know each other? With this annoying girl? No way. Better get to know a cow," Ian showed his cynical gaze and lips that were slightly puckered forward like a joke.
"And who wants to know an annoying guy like you? No way!" Nurul replied. Instantly they remembered the incident this afternoon.
.
Prak!
"Oh my!"
Several plastics containing screen printed t-shirts fell one by one right on Nurul's head. Her curls fell off, her long straight hair swung forward. Her eyes were closed so that the t-shirts would not hit her mother and the baby she was holding. After the plastic t-shirts no longer hit her, Nurul opened her eyes and looked towards the stairs. She saw a man coming down the stairs to pick up the fallen shirts.
"Who is that man?" She thought. Nurul released his hug with the mother and smiled.
"Thank you, son. If it wasn't for you, those shirts would have hit us."
"You're welcome, Mom. Be careful next time,"
"Yes, son. Thank you, this is for you," The mother took out some money from her wallet and handed it in front of Nurul, but he rejected it.
"No need, Mom. I'm helping because I know there's a disaster coming, and I'm not asking for anything in return," Nurul said, and the mother pulled her hand back.
"You are indeed a good girl, thank you again, daughter. Oh yes, I've been asked by my husband to go upstairs immediately, I'll go first, kiddo."
"Yes, ma'am. Be careful." The lady smiled at Nurul and left the hotel lobby towards the elevator. Nurul was still watching her from afar and also smiled.
"Hilih, you're so rich. Given money, you refuse everything," quipped a man who had dropped a pack of t-shirts standing behind Nurul. Nurul turned around and faced Ian, the man.
"Heh, want to accept kek, want to reject kek, it's my business, why do you interfere? Anyway, you were very disrespectful, you already dropped those useless shirts, you didn't apologize anyway," Nurul put her hand on her chest.
"What!!! You said useless? It's very useful for me! I can make money from these shirts! You must have never felt how difficult it is to earn money, so you can say it like that!" Ian who did not accept it was angry. The expression on his face was full of anger. He turned around, intending to go upstairs, but Nurul's words stopped him.
"It's useless to have a lot of money, if you can't say sorry and thank you," Nurul turned towards Ian who had his back to her. Ian silently cursed the word 'damn', he turned around and walked closer to Nurul.
"What do you want, huh?!"
"Here, your shirt is still falling down. Don't be careless, and don't forget that forgiveness is also necessary for someone who has done something wrong," Nurul was still carrying one of Ian's shirts. When Ian wanted to pick it up, Nurul swung the shirt back.
"Eh? There is a condition,"
"What?"
"Find Mom until you find her, and apologize to her,"
"You, ah you're crazy huh? How do I know, I just didn't see clearly how the mother's face was, and didn't know her name either,"
"Yeah whatever,"
"What will you do if I don't want to?"
"Well, maybe I'll sell this shirt myself and I can make some money, just like what you said earlier, right?" Nurul smiled, showing her white teeth.
"Damn!"
"How's it going? Deal?"
"Alright alright, I'll look for that mom until I find her. Bring the shirt here first."
"Oh I'm not that stupid, huh. Do your job first, then you come back here to get your one shirt, got it?"
"Aish, well I'll leave all the shirts first," Ian said annoyed and went to the receptionist to ask about the characteristics of the mother earlier. After knowing the mother's room, Ian apologized and went back downstairs to meet Nurul.
"How is it? Already?" Ian nodded, still with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Thank you," Ian immediately left Nurul who was still standing there with a smile.
"Huh... reminding people to say sorry and thank you turns out to be difficult too." Nurul said with a smile.
.
They both shook their heads when they remembered what happened this afternoon.
"What's the matter? You seem to have a grudge against each other," asked Mas Prass who was sitting next to Nurul.
"Ah, nothing, Mas Prass," Nurul said while giving a sign to Ian to remain silent. Ian moved and sat on Nurul's right side while whispering into her right ear.
"If I knew that my father's business partner is you, I will ask to cancel it!" Ian whispered angrily.
Nurul smiled and stepped on Ian's left foot.
"Akh! It hurts!" Ian shouted.
"What's going on?" Mr. Galang asked.
"It's nothing, Dad. It looks like an ant bit my leg," Ian lied, his eyes immediately looked at Nurul. Nurul giggled and whispered into Ian's left ear.
"Do you think I want to see you again? Don't expect, a careless man like you doesn't deserve to be my uncle's business partner."
"Heh, besides being arrogant, you're also rude. Akh, my poor feet. Watch out!" Ian whispered while touching his foot that was stepped on by Nurul.
In the middle of the meeting between Mr. Supri and Mr. Galang who were discussing about how to sell and market well, Mr. Galang had been paying attention to the two people who had been whispering to each other with their respective furious expressions, who else but Ian and Nurul.
"Ekhm, since you two weren't paying attention earlier, it's better that tomorrow you two will sell all the T-shirts and screen printed MMTs in Tanah Lot. I've paid the rent for the shop there, and here is the key," Mr. Galang thrust the key on the table.
"What!" Ian and Nurul said in unison.
"No refusal, how about Mr. Supri?"
"Yes, I agree with Mr. Galang's idea. My nephew can definitely handle it." Disconnected Mr. Supri while glancing at Nurul who could only nod, agreeing to his Uncle's request.
"Aishh, why does it have to be with that annoying guy!" Nurul thought to herself.
