Wyatt Buckland's heart belonged to the woman he loved, but she wasn't Riley Hayton. However, Riley thought he might see her one day and fell in love with her. Therefore, she waited and waited until Wyatt was willing to turn around. This time, he finally noticed her. Then Riley suddenly felt that this man did not seem to be as perfect as she thought. It turned out that it was all because Riley was young and ignorant when she saw Wyatt and loved him at first sight. Therefore, Wyatt wondered if he should go bankrupt or be crippled so that Riley would be willing to look at him again.

Chapter 1 Chapter 1

Elley 's POV

My parents had always made me peanut butter and seed free raspberry sandwiches, for breakfast. They would have it cut into four squares, and a big glass of orange juice would be sitting beside it. That was when they were alive. They died in a rogue attack.

That was seven years ago. I was told that my parents were running the perimeter of the territory when a group of rogues attack. After that day I was moved to the pack house to live with the Alpha's family. That was the day I became an Omega.

"Elley, get your ass down here," the Alpha yelled up the stairs, breaking me out of my thoughts.

I ran down the stairs and bowed when I reached the kitchen that was filled with the Alpha's and Beta's family.

"Elley what did I tell you? You are supposed to be downstairs with breakfast ready by seven o'clock. It is now seven-fifteen," the Alpha, whose name is John, slaps me.

"I'm sorry sir, it won't happen again, I promise," I say, holding my stinging cheek.

"Go get breakfast ready," he orders. "And no breakfast today."

What did I do to deserve this? I ask myself as I begin making breakfast. I made waffles, eggs multiple different ways, pancakes, and bacon. After doing this for this for seven years I finished making everyone breakfast in ten minutes. I made an extra piece of bacon for myself and hid it under a towel. I brought all the food in and stood to the side, waiting for my orders.

My stomach grumbled as I watched everybody eat. My hands shot to my stomach as if they would stop the sound it was making.

"Elley here is your list of chores for today," the Luna says handing me a sheet of paper. Her perfectly manicured nails showing.

The Luna was very beautiful and I couldn't help but admire her beauty. Her name was Isabelle, she never slapped me like everyone else, but would say words that weren't so kind.

The list contained many chores like...

1. Clean the kitchen and put all the dishware away.

2. Clean every room in the house.

3. Wash all the clothes.

4. Vacuum the floors.

5. Dust the house.

6. Polish the silver.

...And it goes on and on and on.

I start my choirs, cleaning the kitchen first and ate the piece of bacon I had hid quickly. I cleaned all the dishes and put them away. I polished the silver when I was in the kitchen. Silver does hurt werewolves, it burns the skin. I have to wear gloves when polishing the silver, or my hands would be burned to a crisp.

After polishing the dishes I cleaned all the rooms as quickly as possible, organizing the clothes into piles. I washed them all before vacuuming the floors while waiting for the clothes to be finished in the washer. I dusted the house, and then transferred the clothes from the washer and drying. I cleaned all the windows in the house, which was a lot. Once the clothes were done, I brought them to the appropriate rooms.

"Elley, we are having guests over tonight set the table with the finest china," Luna Isabelle says walking past me. "And nice job polishing the silver."

"Thank you Luna," I say bowing.

I go over to the china cabinet and grab the finest china the Alpha has. They have designs of wolves over them. The guests coming today must be another Alpha from another pack or the elders. I set the table and place the silverware in the appropriate places. I set a cup and saucer next to every plate.

I cut the grass making sure that it is neat. I watered the blooming lilies that lined the house. Once I made sure the yard was presentable I walked into the pack house and was met with the Alpha.

"Elley go get dressed into something that is fit for dinner, you will be serving use and if you do well without mistakes you will be rewarded with the gift of having dinner tonight," the Alpha say grabbing my chin.

"Yes Alpha, and if I may ask, what kind of tea will I be serving?" I ask timidly.

"White," is all the Alpha says before releasing his hold on my chin and walking out of the room.

Going upstairs I hurriedly took a shower, braided my long dark chocolate hair and put on a dark blue sundress that went up to my knees. I put on black flats as well.

I made the green tea and set it on the table.

I walked into the foyer and waited at the doors to greet the guests that were coming. About five minutes of waiting the guests arrived. It was Elder Fernando and his mate Elder Elise. Elder Fernando is a man around 70 years old, his hair was thin and graying and his eyes were crinkled around the edges. Elder Elise was also around 70 her hair still had the beautiful blonde and her eyes crinkled when she smiled.

"Hello Elder Fernando, Elder Elise," I greet bowing to them and then putting on a fake smile. "I'll show you to the dinning room. The Alpha and Luna should be with you shortly."

I lead them into the dinning room and show them to their spots.

"Would you two like any tea while you're waiting?" I ask, holding the kettle that had the green tea in it.

"Yes, thank you..." Elder Elise trails off. Oh I should maybe introduce myself.

"Oh I'm so sorry, my name is Elley, Elley White,"

"Thank you Ms. White," Elder Elise says, as I pour them both tea.

"You're welcome," I say, walking out of the room and to the Alpha's office.

I knock on the door and enter when I hear the Alpha say I could.

"Alpha Elder Fernando and Elder Elise have arrived," I say bowing. All this bowing is starting to hurt my back and the fake smiling is starting to hurt my cheeks.

"Thank you Elley," the Alpha says still working on his paperwork, I start to walk out. "And Elley," I turn around almost running into the Alpha, "if you mess up tonight, you know what will happen," the Alpha pulls my hair, making me fall to my knees.

Yes I know what will happen. I shiver at the thought and stand up following him to the dining room. The Luna is sitting beside Elder Elise, they were laughing about something. The Alpha walked into the room, kissed the Luna cheek before sitting down. Even though he is fairly crude to me, he would never lay a hand on the Luna.

"Elley, go make a Caesar salad, we are going to be having steak for dinner, make them all medium rare, also for dessert we are going to have chocolate lava cake," the Alpha says, dismissing me with the wave of his hand.

I made the salad, fairly quickly. The Elders complimented it and the Alpha and Luna just nodded their hands. Everything went smoothly, and they all seemed to enjoy the dinner. After cleaning the plates, I made my way towards the room, passing the Alpha's room office.

"So that is the girl from the prophecy?" Elder Fernando questioned. I know I shouldn't ease drop but I couldn't help myself.

"Yes, she is completely, useless, but she is the one," Alpha John says.

"I can't help but wonder why her," Elder Fernando say.

"I don't know why it's her she is complete weak and useless and barely ever does what she is told," he says and I gasp know it is me that he is talking about.

I heard the Alpha run to the door and swing it open. He growled, his eyes turning black with anger when he say me and grabbed me by the arm.

"Elder Fernando, we can continue discussing this another day so if you can please return to you home while deal with this pest," he growls.

"Of course, Alpha," Elder Fernando says.

Alpha John drags me down the hallway. I know where he is taking me, he is taking me to the basement where he tortures the rogues.

"Alpha, I'm sorry I didn't mean to eavesdrop, I'm sorry please forgive me," I beg as he pushes me down the stair of the basement.

"No you were eavesdropping on my conversation with Elder Fernando, you will be punished," he chains me to the wall in silver chains. The chains burn my wrists.

My face is pressed against the wall. I see Alpha John pick up a whip from the table against the wall opposite of me.

"You will be punished for what you did," he growls and raises the whip.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ ā€œI want to get a divorce, Mark,ā€ I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first timeā€”even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
