Beatrice died prematurely due to a malfunction in the inferno machine, but the King of Hell promised to let her be reborn and even granted her a few years of cultivation. The condition was that the seal would be lifted five years later. Recalling her memories, this place was Optimus Prime Land. Beatrice died prematurely due to a malfunction in the inferno machine, but the King of Hell promised to let her be reborn and even granted her a few years of cultivation. The condition was that the seal would be lifted five years later.
Recalling her memories, this place was Optimus Prime Land. She transmigrated into the body of a seven-year-old girl, abandoned in the mountains by her uncle after her parents had passed away, leaving her and her brothers stranded.
A few days earlier, the little girl had fallen from a tree while foraging in the mountains and was brought back home by her brother, lying in the house in pain.
"This is just my luck! I'm in excruciating pain." Beatrice concluded that her spine must be broken. "King of Hell, you can't be serious. If I have to live like this for five years, I'll definitely return to find you!"
"Achoo. Who's cursing at me again?" The King of Hell, sitting at his desk, felt a shiver down his spine.
Beatrice suddenly remembered the jade pendant the King of Hell had given her before she left - it was still around her neck. She reluctantly raised her hand to touch it.
She sighed, "I didn't even ask how to use it before I left. People who transmigrate usually have special abilities or a spiritual field. What kind of curse is this? I'm disabled and paralyzed all over."
As she was pondering, the jade stone slipped into Beatrice's mind. What on earth was happening?
In a daze, Beatrice realized that her surroundings had become a vast expanse of white at some point. She couldn't get up, so she could only look around with her eyes.
Scenes began playing in her mind like a movie - a thatched cottage, a stream. She was puzzled. "Initial Space" appeared in her mind again.
"This King of Hell isn't so bad after all. At least he gave me a space. This could be considered a cheat for my future life!" she remarked.
But how would she manage being unable to move? Judging by the situation, her two brothers definitely wouldn't have the money to get her treated. She couldn't just lie here for five years, could she?
As she was thinking, she saw wisps of white gas entering her body.
The pain in her body gradually eased, and a tingling sensation spread throughout. Beatrice couldn't help but moan, but fortunately, there was no one around to hear it.
In less than an hour, Beatrice could tell that her internal injuries had healed, and her previously painful body was now fully recovered.
Seeing the wisps of white gas still trying to enter her body, apparently to heal external wounds, Beatrice panicked. She sent out a thought from her space. She was fortunate because if she were completely healed, her two brothers would surely mistake her for a monster when they returned!
"Doctor, hurry, my sister is in bad shape!"
"Hey, be careful lifting me, my bones are about to fall apart!" Beatrice heard the voices and quickly closed her eyes, pretending to be unconscious.
The doctor placed his hand on Beatrice's wrist to check her pulse. "Hmm? Little child, don't worry. Your sister seems to be just scared. There's not a major issue."
"Great, but doctor, my sister fell from a tree, and she was crying in pain when she just fell. Are you sure she doesn't have any internal injuries?" Beatrice thought that must be her brother, 11-year-old Terence!
"What? Could it be I'm trying to deceive you, little kid?"
"No, that's not what I meant! Thank you, doctor! Here's the fee." Terence took out a few copper coins that he and his brother had earned from foraging and handed them to the doctor.
The doctor looked at it and sighed, saying, "You can keep the fee. I presume this is all the food you have for yourselves."
"No, doctor, I can't let you go empty-handed, the road here is difficult! Please take them." Terence insisted.
"If you really want to pay, then take the fruits on the table with you. My wife is pregnant and has been craving sour fruits! I'm busy at the medicine shop and don't have time to go buy them."
"Okay, okay, doctor, I will definitely repay your kindness in the future," Terence said, bowing to the doctor, then wrapped the fruits in a braided basket and escorted the doctor out.
