But the ELF's weren't comfortable under the rule of the vampires ,they want their own rules,they wanted independence,and so they rebelled. War broke out,it was a very tragic night for the Elf's, blood was spilled. half of the ELF's were slain and executed,the vampires only spared the women and children. some of the Elven men escaped along with the spared women and children,and were Able to hide from the vampires using the help of a very powerful sorcerer and since then the ELF's became extinct to other nations and forever an enemy of the vampires. 100 years later,high on the mountain top,laid a very beautiful kingdom. EVANOR. the ELF's finally found the freedom and independence they craved for,and also hidden from the other nations. But are they really safe? The king of the ELF has four children,his first child the crown prince,ALFRED,lost his mum at birth so the king married a second wife,who birthed two daughters. Years later the king fell helplessly in love with a slave girl,and had an affair with her,this led to the birth of a girl. The child was born with different and strange features,sure the king was an elf,but no one knows the origin of the slave girl. The slave girl couldn't handle the abuse from the queen,so she ran leaving her three year old daughter with the king. The girl also suffered brutal abuse,emotional abuse and violence. no one cares about her,people hated her cause she's a half-breed. Her father the king gave a blind eye,the only person who cares about her is the crown prince,she grew up into a beautiful damsel, Skin as fair as the moon hair,the brightest shade of silver and ocean blue.her eyes as blue as the deep sea, Her step sisters became so jealous of her,the eldest tricked her and pushed her off the mountain,leaving her vulnerable to other creatures, What happens when the first person she saw was PRINCE NIEL,the most dangerous and feared vampire ever lived,ruthless,brutal cruel,heartless. Chapter 1 THE INBETWEEN

The girl in the room was sitting quietly by the window sill,the sun was just rising giving the sky a very beautiful look,the kingdom was yet to start its day as it was the early hours of the morning,making the place quite,with only the chirping of birds.
In the quite hall way where the girls room was located,no guards or servant could be seen,the hall way looks deserted.
A sharp footstep could be heard disrupting the quietness of the hallway,the girl in the room clearly heard the footstep but her face showed no emotions,she rarely gets a visitor so she mastered who's footsteps belongs to whom.
The door clicked open a young tall good looking man stepped in,he has a long black hair that reached his shoulders,he removed his armour leaving him with just his shirt and slacks.
"I expected a hug at least,considering I've been gone for long" he said with a hint of humour,
"You're highly welcome crown prince Alfredo, welcome to my humble chambers"
She answered with an overly polite tone making the young man smile.
"I've missed you" he smiled. But the girls face was still expressionless,he hardly sees any expression on her face, and he badly wanna make her smile,but all his efforts seems to go down the drain.
"Its a beautiful day isn't it" She said while looking at the rising sun.
Alfred smiled sadly,he knows what today means to the young princess,its a sad day for her,every year this day,she always Cry's badly,but as the years goes by,she stopped crying she lost all her emotions,and rarely shows any expression,but he knows that his vibrant little sister was still in there somewhere.
"She failed me brother Alfred" she said emotionlessly without expression,but Alfred could see the pain and sorrow in her eyes,he's the closest to her since her mother left years ago,so he knows her the best.
"She'll come back princess" he sighed sadly and took hold of her tiny hands in his.
"She won't,"
"She left when I was so little did I do anything wrong?" she added.
"You know what princess,let's go out,I wanna take you on a tour"
He smiled.
Even though she was born and brought up in EVANOR she rarely goes outside the palace gates. She was the third princess of EVANOR but she was treated as a slave,considering her mother was the kings mistress.
Her step mom, the Queen of EVANOR and step sisters treat her like a rag,they don't even want other people to know she exist,and her father he doesn't care, Though Alfred is also her step brother,he cares sincerely for her,and when the queen saw this,she makes the king send him on duties in far places making him rarely around to care for her.
"So where are we going?"
She asked when they came out of her chambers.
"I wanna take u to the forest"
"The queen banned me remember?"
She asked.
"Don't worry princess as far as am here no one can touch u,look at you,..you look so pale u need some tanning" he joked.
Another reason everyone hates calypso was because she's partly an Elf,Elf's have pretty long ears,but hers are as short as a humans,and her hair is a pure shade of silver,with a strand of sky blue by the side,making it unique and one of a kind.
It makes people call her all sort of names,but she's popular termed as a witch.
" you know u don't have to right?,I love being alone"
"Princess you're not suppose to say such things,a girl your age suppose to be out there exploring places, and not being moody and alone."
"So you're saying am a sadist"
"No,tsk don't take it that way"
"I just love being alone,I hate people"
Alfred felt sad hearing her saying this without even an expression on her face.
The girl is still traumatized by the incident 15 years ago,her mother left her when she was just three promising to be back,but its been 15 good years.
He led her to the stable where the horses where kept,the horses there are in hundreds.
"My prince" the stable man greeted with a bow.
"Rise...I would like to take Riot(Alfred's horse) with me"
"Yes your highness" the man answered as he went into the stable and later came out with a white stallion,very huge.
"Where mine?" She asked.
"You'll ride with me baby sister" he smirked as he helped her mount the horse.
"do u have anywhere in mind?" He asked.
"Yes I wanna see the in-between"
Alfred smiled,he knew she'll say that,the place is so beautiful magical and dangerous at the same time.
He kicked the horse with his leg making the horse gallop.
Back in the palace princess Gabrielle Was standing by her window,watching the horse ride away from the palace,she gritted her teeth in anger. "This witch,mother must hear of this".
Alfred tied the horse to a tree and they proceeded with foot. Calypso was looking around with her doe like eyes,every thing looking new and strange to her, Alfred took his time in showing and explaining things to her.
Finally they reached the in between,,its so magical,calypso's eyes widened in disbelief,she read about this place,but even the books couldn't described it beauty well.
She could hear the rushing of water,the place is a little bit dark with aurora lights surrounding it.
"Beautiful right?" He asked
"Yeah,but also dangerous"
"Smart girl,I can see you're reading your book" he smiled proudly rubbing her head.
"This is the place that separates our kingdom from the rest of the world,beyond this aurora light is the most tallest and largest water fall in the world, located in SELERA FOREST"
"where is that?"
"Its the kingdom of the night creatures STYGAIN" he said with venom and hatred laced in his voice.
