Patricia her daughter with an incredible gift, continuesly has nightmares, her only hope for sleep is her physicians medicine. James her fiance finds out about the ghost seeking to take Patricia with him, as Biancas final sacrifice, he determines to find it's weakness and end it's reign. Bianca not ready to loose everything she worked for is set to hand James over to the spirits of the underworld. Will James survive and restore Patricia's sanity, or will he join the others.
Chapter 1 The nightmare
Chapter 1
Patricia, a young girl of eight, always dreamt of an older man running for his life, and calling a foreign name while he ran.She was troubled and asked her mother the meaning of the dream, her mother who knew what it meant refused to tell her its meaning. It's just a dream she would say, but Patricia has a feeling that, that was more than a mere dream, but she was just eight years old how would she find the hidden meaning, she pondered this day and night, even when the teacher noticed her absent mindedness in class,and punished her in front of everyone, she still determined within her to discover the hidden truth. Years later, Patricia was now fifteen years old,she no longer had those dreams, she even concluded that they were mere dreams just as her mother said.
Not until she saw the same man in her party that day,it was like a trance, an instant flashback, she ran to where he sat, but he was gone. She asked around if they had seen a man wearing a white robe but they said no. Troubled, she walked down to her mother, and asked her why she could see that strange man. He kept staring at her but said nothing, her mother knew it was time to tell her the history of her birth.
"Listen child, I was barren, and could not give Mr Wilson your father an heir,it took us three years of pain before we had you, your father was excited but i was in emotional torment, Mr Wilson is not your reak father, my dear, that man you always see, he is your father, maybe there is something he wants to tell you, or maybe he's here for revenge." Her mother's words frightened her but not as much as the sinister smile on the face of the man she just called her father. "No mum, there must be a mistake, just because Dad is dead and cannot defend himself, does not mean you can tell all the lies you want." But it was too late for Patricia, she was better off not knowing the truth, knowing the truth has placed her in a dangerous situation, the next morning her mother fell seriously ill. "He was here, he does not recognize anyone, you need to leave this place maybe it will be safer for you, he will harm you once he gets the chance.". Her mother's eyes staring at a particular direction outside her window.
But when Patricia turned, and even went outside, she saw no one there, before she went back to the room, the door was locked from the inside, while her mother screamed. Patricia finally broke the door handle but it was too late her mother was gone.
She screamed as she thought of what next to do, her mother's eyes which were still open blinked, " find the gold of Eleanor, only the gold can....". She fell, and died breaking her neck finally.
Patricia woke up, it was all a dream, why did she have such a dream on her parents wedding anniversary,why did she dream that her parents were dead when he was still alive.
She meets her physician, whom her father hired when she started having nightmares. "The medicines don't seem to work any more madam."
The physician looked at her, aware of her situation, she made an even stronger dose, that almost caused harm to her health. "How dare you try to kill my only child, pack your bags and get lost.". The physician had no choice but to leave, ever since she left, Patricias condition only got worse. "Mom, please bring her back, she was only trying to help me." Her mother refused, you need to be brave, maybe you should go camping with your father next summer.". Patricia shook her head. "Good girl, now go to sleep.". Bianca turned off the lights and closed the doors, the thunder storm increased, she felt someone coming closer to her in the darkness. She screamed!.
The next day, was a day of celebration, it was Bianca's wedding anniversary, they have being married for six years, but this year Bianca has a strange feeling that made her want to stop the entire preparations.
"Dear, we celebrate our anniversary every year, why don't we sit this one out!."
But Mr Wilson refused, he wanted to show off his beautiful wife to all who could see, everyone was so busy with the preparations, that they forgot about Patricia,She slept through out the celebrations, but the only one who seemed to notice was James.
"Where is Patricia?." He asked her parents , and that was when they started searching for her. They shook her vigorously, but she remained still. Bianca ran out of the room to call her husband, and they both took her to the hospital, when they were sitting and waiting for the doctor's report, the nurse came and told them that they could go and see her now.
"Where sorry dear,we got carried away, are you ok." Patricia simply stared and said and said nothing.
"It's nothing to worry about, all she needs is rest, give her some time and she will come around." The couple went back home, Bianca went into Patricias room, and found something under her pillow.
"Why did you scream?." Mr Wilson came as fast as he could.
"That Physician has being keeping contact with our daughter, she's being giving her drugs, what do we do."
"Maybe we should bring her back home.". Bianca shook her head disagreeing. "For Patricias sake."
The next morning, Patricia was no longer on the hospital bed, the nurses searched for her fearfully.
She was found standing on the terrace, but before she jumped, james held her hand, but he was not strong enough they both fell.
Biancas POV
Why is all this happening to me?, why?. She rocked back and forth shivering, when suddenly she felt someone standing behind her.
