I've had a crush on "Teacher Xiao" for over a year, and that day my best friend said she found my idol's address. I couldn't contain my excitement and immediately decided to confess to my crush at his home. Fueled by courage from a few drinks, I had three glasses of white liquor that night and stumbled my way to knock on his door, weakly falling into his arms. I woke up the next afternoon, completely naked, lying next to my crush. Only this "crush"... I rubbed my eyes and looked again. A loud ringing echoed in my head, and I felt like I was about to explode on the spot. This crush is not the same as the one I've been secretly in love with!

Chapter 1

I've had a crush on "Bran" for over a year. Today, my bestie told me she found my crush's address.

I couldn't contain my excitement and decided to go to my crush's house to confess my feelings.

I downed three shots of strong liquor that night. And fueled by alcohol, I stumbled to my crush's house, falling softly into his arms.

The next day, I woke up at noon, and I found myself lying stark naked beside my crush.

But this man... I rubbed my eyes and took another look.

My mind was spinning, and I felt like I was about to burst.

This man wasn't the one I had been secretly admiring!

1

I had been secretly admiring a man on the school forum, named Bran. Last night, my bestie said her hacker friend cracked the address of my crush's house.

Little did I know, this man was not the one I had in mind.

"Bryan, a professor of neuroscience in the medical department, handsome, wealthy, and talented, right?" my bestie argued over the phone.

"Is your hacker friend reliable?" I grumbled, hiding under the covers.

"Reliable! The most talented and handsome professor in our medical department is him. Hey, Kathy, listen to me..."

"Kaelyn, stop!"

I didn't let her continue.

Didn't it say the address was cracked by hackers? How did it turn into a private investigation? This couldn't be reliable.

I peeked out from the covers at the man still sound asleep.

"Isn't your department's professor a bit old?" I whispered, fearing the man might overhear.

"With age comes wisdom and experience. You will be treated better," she teased.

What?

I was speechless.

Is there something wrong with my bestie?

"Kaelyn, do you have any aspirations?"

So young and already like my mom, always worrying about my relationship.

Moreover, I had already pounced on this ... man. In their eyes, my life had reached its perfect conclusion.

Well done!

"Don't change the subject. Has the man been conquered? I knew you could do it. Just go with it. After all, you're not the one at a loss."

I... I admitted it. I was the one who made the move last night. How did I explain this?

"I didn't take advantage of him!" I retorted, trying to defend myself to my bestie.

Maybe I was too emotional and forgot to lower my voice. As soon as I finished speaking, two large hands pulled me out from under the covers. The man lazily squinted at me.

Some people looked good even when they just woke up.

"Haven't taken enough?" he asked in a husky voice.

"I..." I snapped back to reality, quickly ending the call with my bestie.

"I didn't mean to take advantage of you."

After saying that, I instinctively wrapped the blanket around myself, which gently slipped off him.

I was so embarrassed.

I hurriedly covered him again, awkwardly holding onto the edge of the blanket.

He watched my clumsy actions with a faint smile, "Scared?" Then he sighed and whispered in my ear, "You weren't like this last night."

My heart tightened, and my face flushed to my ears.

He remembered last night? I barely did.

"Have you forgotten it? Are you sick?" he chuckled, "Selective amnesia is a type of mental illness too."

What?

I think he was the one with the problem, an occupational disease.

"Are you Bran?" I asked, still holding onto a sliver of hope, given that what's done was done.

He replied lazily, "My name is Bryan Hall."

I knew it!

This man was not the one I had in mind. Thinking of what happened last night, I lowered my head in guilt.

"What? Still not clear? One night wasn't enough?"

Oh no! Could he stop being such a tease?
