Chapter 1
chapter 1
I stretched my body and yawned as I woke up. I also felt the sunlight hitting my face. I looked at the clock, it was nine am. Seriously, it's been a long time since I slept that long. It feels good.
I got up and went straight to the kitchen to mix orange juice and toast bread. I slept a long time but I still feel very sleepy. I don't usually get a day off but when I do, I spend the whole day lying on my bed either sleeping or watching a series or a movie. that's all I always do and I'm happy with that.
I don't usually go out with friends... because I'm not a friendly person so I don't have many friends.
I turned on the tv and was relaxing just drinking orange juice when suddenly the cr door opened so I looked there. I literally threw up the juice I was drinking when I saw Terrence with only a towel and water dripping from his hair to his body. he also seemed surprised that I was there.
"Ooops, sorry. Didn't know you were there." He said and casually walked to his room. Stunned, I followed him until he entered and closed the door.
What was that? Her body is beautiful! I swallowed because my mouth felt like it was full of saliva, luckily it didn't drip. The morning will startle. Still have abs and muscles. If only her attitude was as beautiful as her body.
I frowned when I remembered the first time I brought him here to the apartment. I only heard complaints. It's too small. It's too plain, why is the bathroom common, and so on. I was about to collapse if he didn't pay immediately.
He has been here in the apartment for almost a month. we don't really talk because when I arrive it's very late, otherwise I go straight to the room to sleep. It seems that there is no information.
After a while, he came out of his room. I can see him through my peripheral vision as he walks to the kitchen. I also noticed that he was glancing at me.
"Hey." I ignored him and pretended to just watch TV. I'm not in the mood to talk to him. There is always nonsense coming out of his mouth. "Jude."
Even though I tried to ignore him, I can still feel his presence. I feel something strange, an evil spirit as it were. I noticed that he walked closer to me so I turned the volume louder for him to have a hint that I don't want to talk, but the fool, actually walked in front of me.
"What do you want?" I asked annoyed. he looked at me with an amused face.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but.. are you really a lesbian?" I immediately stood up because of his question but he was very tall because I was only up to his neck so I stood up.
Why is this person so tall? I look like an elf in a sermon here. Annoying!
"You have a problem with homosexuals huh?!" He was taken aback by my sudden outburst so he suddenly raised both hands as if surrendering.
"Alright. I'm sorry. I was just asking." I just looked at him evilly while backing away and when he disappeared in front of me I sat down again. He will actually be the reason when I have a heart attack for the very first time in my life. Even though I don't have high blood pressure, my high blood pressure will really increase with him.
I've been watching a movie for a while now, it's about to end but I can't concentrate enough because while I'm focused on the TV, this one is staring at me. He was sitting on the other sofa. I don't know but I was counted. He was still there while eating Pringles. I looked at him but he just frowned and didn't even take his eyes off me.
"If you don't stop staring at me I will kick you out." It didn't seem like he was scared at all because he just took a bite of Pringles while still staring at me. didn't his parents teach him that staring at others is bad?
"You really look familiar. You look like someone, I just can't remember who." He said while holding his chin. I rolled my eyes at him. That's old style.
"Your style is rotten." He laughed.
"I'm not hitting on you. You're really familiar." But, to be honest, the first time I saw him he was also familiar, but I didn't pay attention because that kind of face is very common. Those handsome chins. He shrugged. "But anyway, why are you here? today? Don't you have work?"
"You, don't you have a job?" I asked him back.
"Nothing." He said as he leaned against the sofa. I raised an eyebrow because of what he said. Is it just me, or is this person's actions really annoying? It seems that everything he does annoys me because he looks so lazy.
"Wala as in wala? Or wala as in your day off?" he shrugged and didn't answer. People like this are irritating, the ones you talk to and then won't answer. I'm really not this talkative, thanks to him I waste my saliva and talk to him.
I stood up and didn't speak again. He will take care of that. i stood up and decided to stay for the rest of the day inside my room, buried in comics and books,
"Look, I think we started on the wrong foot." I stopped from opening my door when I heard him. I turned and saw him standing up. I just watched as he walked towards me. "I haven't really introduced myself properly to you. I'm Terrence, but you can call me Trei."
I looked at his hand that was in front of me back to his face. He was smiling at me and waiting for me to hold his hand. I sighed. well, if I really want us to get along I have to be friends with him. I took it for a handshake and his smile grew wider.
"Judea, just Jude." I said without smiling.
"But are you a lesb..." He quickly stopped what he was going to say when I threatened to punch him. I reported it to the LGBT community.
"What do you care if I'm gay?"
"So are you saying that you are?" I made him suffer.
"I'm a girl." He grinned and I made a face. What does that smile mean? Isn't that a lot?! "I'm a woman but I know taekwondo, and I also do boxing, I'm telling you. Don't try anything if you don't want to break a bone in no time."
He laughed out loud. "Why did you ever think that I'll do something like that? And you? You're not my type-no offense."
he laughed loudly again and wiped the tears from his eyes. I was so sick that I punched him in the stomach causing him to hold it there and cough. Then he sat on the sofa while still clutching his stomach.
"I warned you." I said flatly. "Don't piss me off again."
"But I didn't! i was being honest!" Wow, he's recovered but he's still stroking his stomach. He grinned. "That's my abs shield. I'll admit, that punch was strong. For a boyish nerd like you, who knew you could throw a punch?"
Honestly, he was the one who punched me like that. I have too much patience and I'm not a quarrelsome person to use that. I don't know why when it comes to this man I'm nervous. I kind of missed working out. It was just my past time.. eight months ago. When I wasn't this hard at work.
but life is life, you still get up in the morning even when it fucks you up everyday.
"So what's your plan for today?" He asked, I just made him hard. "We can go out and have lunch together."
I frowned and stopped washing the glasses I had used earlier. "What for?"
"To get to know each other. For us to be friends? Don't you want to be friends with your housemate?"
"No I do not." I said coldly and continued on putting soap to the mug. He walked closer to me and stood beside me at the counter. "Stop me if you don't want to taste another blow."
"Why are you so mean to me? I'm being nice here."
"I don't feel you." He laughed. What's funny with what I said? It's true. The look on his face disgusts me. I just looked at him badly.
"What? what do I have to do so that you can feel me?" I looked at him and he was smiling at me like a fool. I said that it's really big! I threw a punch directly at his face but he caught my hand and pulled me towards him and wrapped his arms around my waist.I punched his shoulder but he didn't even bulge.
"Hey we need to get along if we are staying in one house." He said laughing before he let go of me.
"Fine! But we're KKB." I said as I fixed my glasses, which were slightly tilted because of what happened earlier.
"KKB?" He frowned when he asked.
"He pays for it. I don't want to pay for your food, maybe you have money." He is the one who invited me, maybe he will pay me later. It looks like he doesn't really have a job because he's always here. But he paid the rent right away. He grinned.
"Sure." That's it. maybe the job is online.
"Candice, when's the orientation?" I asked when we got to the dorm.
