One Night for the Lifetime

Chapter 1

"Hey Violet! I'm having a racket stag party! Maybe you want to come?" Cha greeted me as I entered the dressing room.

"How much share?" I will ask.

"100k budget, only three of us, 30k each and 10 kyaw to mamu! This girl is a big racket!" -cha

"When are you gay?" -I

"Next week, Saturday. What? So I can tell mamu" -cha

"Ok, I'll go with you". I answered late and I had already fixed myself.

I work as a dancer in a bar here in Pampanga. I will enter at 8:30 pm and the show will start at 10 pm. I only finished high school, there were other jobs if I didn't need a lot of money for my sick brother.

I do laundry while studying, and on Sundays when no one does laundry, I sell tulips at a nearby church. All my income is taken by Tessi, I only get a coin every now and then from selling tulips, I save it so that if we don't have enough food, I can buy bread for my brother. I just tried to finish high school so that somehow I could get a job and save money.

After I graduated, I got a job as a dishwasher and helper in a cafeteria with a salary of P200 per day. We ended up here in Pampanga. I looked for a job with a bigger income, until I ended up here at the bar. Forced to live on P350 wages per night for about 1 year. Mom has teased me several times to become a dancer, but I can't stand to dance obscenely and almost naked on stage. I also see how the patrons here insult the dancers and I can't stand it.

One day, Jasper had to be admitted to the hospital, and the doctor suggested that dialysis be started. I begged my mom if I could get a cash advance, she didn't think twice and added it from her own money. He said that what he added was just help, but if possible, I will accept his offer so that I will not be too poor and poor for my brother's treatment.

"I'll think about it mamu" I answered before saying goodbye to rush my brother to a public hospital.

After entering the hospital, the doctor told me that Jasper needs dialysis 3 times a week. Each dialysis costs P2,500, I need P7,500 within a week to connect the life of my only brother and family. I was depressed as to where I was going to get that much money when my weekly salary was just over P2000. That's when I decided to accept mamu's offer.

By dancing we can earn P1,500 to P2,000 per night depending on the number of customers, and how popular we are. Apart from that, the tip that the customer gives us when we settle. Because of this, I was able to afford dialysis for my brother, besides that, I was able to save for savings. I have been able to last more than 3 years now in my profession.

But as long as I'm on the table, I'm off-limits when I go out, I already told mamu that, no matter how much I pay, he won't do it. Only my virginity was left for myself, and I promised to dedicate it only to the one man I was waiting for to return. A week passed quickly. The day of our racket with Cha and Katty has arrived.

"Sister, are you early today?" Jasper asked me when he noticed that I was about to get dressed. I looked at the wall clock and saw that it was 7 pm.

"Ah. Yes. I have an appointment so I'm early today." I just answered Jasper while combing my long hair and facing the mirror.

What he knows is that I am a call center agent, with the amount I spend on his treatment, he will surely be surprised if I tell him that I am just a waitress like when I first worked here. It's not like in BPO where he knows the salary is high so he won't question me. I also don't want him to be stressed and he will embarrass me or throw me away when he finds out that I dance m*l*swa and almost hub*t h*bad in front of men just so we can survive.

"Just wait for brother Bethy, he said he's close. My sister has to leave so I won't be late." I said goodbye to my brother and left. I'm just wearing jeans and a t-shirt now. At Cha's apartment, I will put another lipstick on my face. And there are the things we will wear him. I don't bring work clothes at home, it's difficult and Jasper might even dig. I better leave all my costumes to Cha.

I've been here with Cha, I just went to his apartment and he gave me a spare key.

After eating, I cleaned the table and washed the dishes we ate. I rested on the chair when I finished.

"Where's Katy now?" I asked Cha when he came out of the bathroom.

"Oh that's gay, let's meet at the hotel." he answered.

Together we looked at the clock hanging on the wall. It was already 8 o'clock so we decided to settle down. 10 is the start of our bachelors party racket.

"Oh, your costume is gay!" He handed me the clothes.

I lifted it up to see better. The lingerie we will wear is bunny maid style.

"Yes, by the way, how long will we be there? Also, have they been informed that there is no touch?" I asked Cha.

"Until the party is over, maybe we'll catch up again in the morning. Mamu also said that the customers are willing to be upset if someone moves, but I know you're off-limits so just go crazy if someone makes an attempt." Cha answered.
