Elena's pov
I felt completely naked in the revealing body con dress I am wearing now. Unlike everyone else in the club, I was uncomfortable with my attire.
I drinks cautiously, remembering the betrayal.
"Shit!" I muttered in my drunken state.
"That bastard!" I hiccupped my face all red.
The club is full of people having a good time, and the music hits me in the chest, making me feel disoriented.
swaying through the multicolored lights, I couldn't help feeling a gaze piercing my very being. It consumed my thoughts, making me nervous and intoxicated. It was as if a hole had been drilled through it.
I took a sip of cocktail and muttered in a trembling voice. "Why... Why do I feel like someone is watching me? Like a laser is going through my soul." My words are slurred, indicating that I is getting more and more drunk.
I looked over my shoulder desperately for the source of the uneasy feeling. The crowd merged into one, faces dissolved into a sea of anonymity. The room seemed to revolve around me as I focused on my flickering self-image the mirror across from the bar. I hiccupped, laughing like an idiot to myself, and my breath smelled of alcohol.
"You just got drunk, Elena." I murmured. My words were drowned out by the booming bass. “Everyone is dancing and having a good time. Nobody's looking at you very much." My voice trembled, and I wasn't even sure myself.
Taking another sip of the cocktail, I gripped my glass tighter. But the feeling persisted and grew stronger. I frowned anxiously and shook my head to the music.
I nervously looks around my room, my eyes twinkling. I squinted my eyes, trying to focus in the dim light.
"There is something... Or someone... I can feel it. Why does it feel like a laser beam is going through my skull?” I squirted.
reaching for the half-empty whiskey bottle on the coffee table. I takes a sip, hoping it will dull my senses. “Maybe I drank too much,” I said. "But seriously, it's like two eyes are drilling holes in me,"
I takes another sip of my whiskey, wincing at my burnt face. My gaze turns inward, and I starts talking to herself in a quiet tone.
In a low voice, “Okay, Elena, calm down. Nobody is watching you. You're just being paranoid. It's just alcohol playing with your mind. Breathe... relax."
I searched the room to find my best friend who brought me to her club, only to find her flirting with a younger man in a dark corner of her club.
"Hello." Frightened by his cold voice, I furrowed my eyebrows. "Jesus! Stephen?! How dare you deceive me?! How dare you?!" Mistaking him for my cheating boyfriend, I yelled at him. I fell and tried to hit an innocent man.
"Hey!" The boy screamed, but my hand pressed against his face so hard that he screamed in pain.
"How dare you hit me?!" He yelled at me.
