The enormous building stood tall and beautiful, with a large white gate that had beautiful designs on it.

Just by the sight of it, you'd need no one to tell you who lives or owns the building because the luxurious house was screaming it out, silently.

Everywhere around the vicinity smells of wealth and riches.

Inside the building, are maids and male workers, occupied with different activities.

The maids, guards, gate keepers and all...are busy with one thing or the other.

"You guys be quick with that, it's almost time for dinner and little Miss needs to eat now. Master would be back from work soon, hurry up!" A maid ordered the other maids to fasten whatever they were doing.

After telling them that, she left the kitchen in a haste.

Inside the house, there is an elevator and a staircase, leading to all the rooms upstairs.

On the long staircase, there is a red carpet spread from the starting of the steps to the very end of it, and the rails are beautifully made of gold, both sides of the rails are adorned with beautiful, sweet smelling flowers and decorations.

In the living room, a big chandelier hung high, and since it was dusk already, the lights were magnificently shining, emitting all the beauty and giving the living room a stunning and breathtaking sight.

The walls are adorned with Jerome and his little daughter's pictures, prints and some art works.

In the middle of the living room, an enormous television can be seen, a center table and some electronics. A little bit far from the TV stand and other electronics, is a big fireplace that leads to the chimney.

By the left, close to the dining room, there is a small fountain and just a foot away from the fountain, there is an aquarium for Desiree, although she also has one in her room.

The aquarium has got tiny fishes happily swimming in the water. The lights inside it were emitting different colors, giving it that beguiling look.

Let's stop here for now.

Since Lucie needed to get upstairs fast, she used the elevator instead of the stairs, and she was at Desiree's room in no time.

"Desiree...." Lucie called and gently opened the door, walking into the little girl's room stealthily. "Dee...?" She finally walked to her bed and stood in front of little Desiree who was busy on her big iPad, watching CoComelon.

Desiree is actually Jerome's three-year old daughter, very stubborn, yet cheerful and friendly. Just like her dad, Desiree is crazy and smiles a lot too.One would think she's six and above due to how big she looks, talks and behaves.

Lucie is actually the head maids, and she's trying to persuade Desiree to go have her bath before her dad comes back, because Jerome hates it when he comes back from work and sees that his daughter has neither bathed nor had her dinner. He doesn't know why, he just hates it.

Maybe he feels his daughter is not well taken care of when he's not around. Or he probably just loves to see his daughter clean always.

If there's anything or anyone Jerome loves and cherishes most in the world, then it is his amazing, cute little daughter.

"Please come have your bath, and eat your food before your daddy comes back, okay?" Lucie said, brushing her hair to the back, nicely.

Aside from the fact that she's the head maids, Lucie is the only maid Desiree is close to and the only person she listens to most times, but it seems not today, because this is the third time Lucie has come to beg the little girl.

"No...." Desiree stubbornly dragged the word, her lips pouted. "I want my daddy to bathe and feed me" She protested, her eyes and attention still fixed on what she was watching. She never even raised her head to look at who was in front of her.

Sighing, Lucie held her shoulder softly, and moved closer.

"Desiree, your daddy isn't home yet and I don't know when he'll be back. Please come have your bath, I don't want him getting mad when he....

"Daddy's girl!...." Lucie was cut off as Jerome just walked in while she was still trying to talk Desiree into bathing . Lucie immediately stood up from the bed, holding her dress like one who is shy or scared.

"Daddy!" Desiree jumped off the bed and clung onto Jerome like a koala, her face glimmering with excitement.

"Good evening, Master. I'm sorry, sir...I've been trying to....

"It's fine" Yet again, Jerome made Lucie swallow the rest of her words.

Lucie was shocked to see that he wasn't mad after all. Did he already know that Desiree was being extra stubborn and adamant today?

Whew!

Lucie collected Jerome's briefcase and his suite to take them to his room, and with that, she swiftly exited Desiree's room.

"How are you, princess? And how was school today?" Jerome inquired, planting an affectionate kiss on her hair.

He put her down, loosening his tie, and without wasting time, he took off Desiree's clothes and jacked her to the shower, making her giggle cutely and excitedly, like the little kid that she is.

"I won't keep doing this all the time, little Miss stubborn, do you understand me?" Jerome said, turning on the shower.

Lucie had already set the water, so Jerome didn't need to do that again.

"No, daddy!" Desiree pouted, squeezing that cute little face, and Jerome couldn't help but to chuckle.

"When am I getting a new nanny, daddy?" Desiree asked, spreading her arms wide as the water poured down her body.
