Chapter 1 learning who i am
My name is John and i am 29 years old, i own a company called northwestern finance and i know what your most likely thinking that my parents must of bought it for me or passed it down but that is not the case i started out in a small rented building and once i got my name out there it grew and grew and required my company from a 2000.00 company to a multi billion dollar company i also own many houses and housing complexes that i rent out as well
my mom passed away when i was young and pretty absent always away with work and putting everyone above me i guess you could say that we dont really have a relationship today
i do work alot but i am a single man with not much of a life i have never been big into partying but i do love charity parties and other gatherings that benifit the people in need i am all about giving and helping unlike the rest of my family
the only comitment i have in my life currently is my job unfortantly i dont currently have a girl friend, not from lack of trying but it seems like they are more into my money than they are me and i am not that type of person when i am in a relationship i dont mind spoiling them and splurging them in finer things but i want a connection and i want someone that wants me for me and not the money i have.
today has been along day at the office and we have been dealing with alot one of my most known clients has had people stealing from him and we have been investigating it and we have figured out who it is and it was none other than his wife that has been taking millions of dollars from him to put in a bank account overseas so that when she left him she was well off and she
well now that we know what is all going on i dont think her plans will work and i dont think the judge will allow her to keep the money but only time will tell once he takes her to court for the theft and for a divorce
tonight is going to be a big night for me tho we are opening a new office with more staff they have been open now for about 3 weeks but tonight we are having a gathering between all my offices i feel its a great way for every one another
i feel that keeping a happy and being kind and caring makes for a better work place and pushes everyone to want to work harder and with a better head on their shoulders
i have arranged for a dance, dinner and drinks for all of us adults at one of my offices are big but some are huge and have a ball room type of space that i like to host my parties in and tonight i have arranged for it to be at my new office that has a huge party room inside the building the party is at 7 to give all my staff time to go home and get ready and prepare for the gathering tonight
all my staff will be paid for attending the party and they are welcome to bring family and children as we have a room that will accomidate the younger children
i am heading down the elevator to my car so i can head over to my other office and make sure everything is ready
dinner will be at 7:30 and i figured it was best to have it on a friday night since there will be an open bar and i want my staff to be able to enjoy their selves with out worrying about having to come to work tomorrow they will have a couple days to relax
once i arrive everything looks great and the buffet style food is almost all done and it all smells so good
the decorations look perfect the dj is already there and he is ready we wait the hr and my staff starts arriving with their lovely famil
we have plenty of seating for everyone and then some but i would rather have to much then not enough
