You Broke Us

"...but I don't want to leave One.... God I love you so much that it hurts" She said while leaning on his chest which was already wet with her tears. "...don't say that it hurts me as much as it hurts you...I love you too Lema so much...hey look at me..." He lifted her chin and their eyes met.

His all moist but hers all wet then he continued "...we'll communicate to each other and you know our love will get us through this Lema...just like before we won't give up on one another because we haven't in these four years, right?...so wipe away your tears my love...you leaving is not goodbye" He said the latter while wiping her tears and kissing her forehead.

"You know how that place is far from here...there's poor communication One...before my message gets to you, the whole year will be long gone" She said while standing up trying to reason with him "...let me just stay here please" she continued while sitting down and holding his hand close to her chest. "...but your people need you...please Lema let's not make our love to be selfish...it's one year let's just sacrifice it for our love and no one will separate us again"

She was silent for a long time that it was already tearing him apart and then decided to change his decision but she spoke "Okay I'll go" "Okay when you will come back we'll go meet your parents and finally get married...I can't wait to have you Lema" He said the latter with a huge smile that she smiled to him shyly. He moved closer to her and touched her cheek and she looked down with embarrassment since she understood what would happen in a few. They looked at each other and their eyes did all the talking like some sort of consent and he kissed her forehead and she turned as red as a beet. Moving down kissed her both cheeks which were already hot and then her lips which were anticipating and they kissed slowly as the heat and passion was already building up within them.

She moved both her arms to his shoulders intensifying the kiss they both shared while he moved his hands down her back to the waist while caressing it. He lifted her by her waist and she sat on his laps still not breaking the kiss but broke later on when he said "I love you Lema and nothing will change between us" "I love you too One" Then he stood up still carrying her and her legs wrapped around his waist with support of her arms around the shoulder and walked to the bedroom.

He placed her slowly on the bed as he laid on her but still supporting himself with his palm of his hands as to avoid the closeness because he wanted to take it slow being their first time...kissing her neck slowly leaving his marks on her as she started releasing soft slow moans that his member was already poking between her thighs and began rubbing it on her front bottom as both of their breathing became heavier and in a husky voice he said "Undress me" which she submitted to and removed his t-shirt running her hands down his abs as he removed her top and bra.

Onediego and Lemayal had met in Yalor University of medicine from day one they were sworn enemies. For him, she was nothing but a dirty village girl who was not supposed to be in that prestigious school and what irked him most she was to do medicine rather than sell vegetables in her village and for her, he was nothing but a spoilt rich brat who was not supposed to be doing medicine but to be in a psychiatry to be checked out his mental health or out there learning how to survive in the world.

The first day they met, all the chaos that occurred was entirely his fault but never acknowledged that. She was walking down the lane to the classroom just talking to her friend Gina, when he came from behind with his car and drove so close to the lane she was walking in and then the muddy water was splashed all over her face and blue dress she was wearing. Gina was not splashed on since Lemayal was covering her.

"What rubbish!" Lemayal yelled and looked at the guy who was riding in the car but not clearly since the window pane was not clear. "Hey this lane is for side walkers not wheels you moron!" While she was busy yelling, Gina had gone to get her some water to wash her face and when she was cleaning it, the guy behind the wheel got out and cleared his throat. "Look miss, my apologies for splashing the mud on you... but you see my baby here likes to splash when nearing the parking lot..." Lemayal and Gina could not believe their ears. "...but for compensation, here is some cash go clear yourself up else you'll be late for class and I don't want that" He handed the money to her and seeing the look he gave her, he threw it to her on the floor and walked away to his car and opened the window pane and said "... by the way am not a moron" and winked at her while driving away.

"That guy is nothing but a spoilt brat...look how he ruined one of my favorite dresses. She said the latter almost at the verge of crying. "Let's go back to the room and get you changed Lema..." "No you go I would not want you to be late for class...I'll see later" The two girls parted ways like that and on the way Lemayal was just cussing under her breath wishing to never see him again and if she does she would give him a taste of his own medicine.

The next day

Lemayal was seated at the front talking to Gina while Onediego was seated at the back of the class just giving stories that made him more popular. None had seen the other yet else a feud would had started. The teacher walked in class and seeing the class being full house opted for another way to teach them by putting them in twos the one who was top in interview with the last one. "Okay people now here is how you'll learn for the first year...I'll put you in twos to help one another and all the exams will also be discussed and marks awarded but in the next year the group will be dismantled...now here are the names in this list...go through it find your partner and get to studying." With that he left never to be seen again till end year to receive his paycheck. Lemayal was thrilled thinking her study partner would be Gina but to her surprise when Gina said "OMG! Lema guess who is my study partner?" She said all excited almost touching the skies. "Me!" "No, it's Barry...my huge crush...hope I get a chance to tell him that" She said the latter whispering. "Oh!" Lemayal said disappointedly. "Don't worry am sure you'll get one who will be your crush too trust me" Gina said giggling while Lemayal rolled her eyes at her childishness.

They then heard someone's voice being so familiar. "Hola, who is Lem...What name is this?!" He said and the people beside him laughed. "It's me you moron" They heard and all stopped laughing to see who got the guts to speak like that to Onediego.

"Hhhmmmm I see so we meet again" He said pocketing. "Yes we do...and am so glad because I'll make sure you pay for what you did to my dress yesterday" And she left without even waiting for a response. She left him wandering what dress when even the one she was wearing was written 'plain jane' all over her and concluded "She's a village girl not worth being here"

Everyone had found their study partner and started studying but Onediego and Lemayal were too proud to even go to where the other was. Lemayal being who she is could not take it after all it's her life being ruined not his...so she went to him and said "Look we are not on the same page but I do care about my studies and parents pride so I'll study with you" "Ha! I don't give a damn about that...I don't even care if I fail my parents will just bride the school and in a snap am right with you in the second year" "You really are spoilt aren't you? anyway it doesn't matter I've tried to keep everything past us but you can just go and do as you so wish...I'm done"

When the rest would meet, they would just remain in their rooms...Lemayal would try her best to study and where there was difficulty ask Gina while as for Onediego he would just room around the whole school and town having fun not caring less what would happen to his studies. "After all my parents will bribe the school" He always thought and scoffed.

Soon the middle year exams came up and when the results got out, the unexpected happened.

"You were supposed to help him with his studies Lemayal! Or just because you are smart you can't share your knowledge?" Lemayal was standing there in front of the principal, the class tutor and Onediego's parents and to make it worse she was being blamed for not helping him get good marks for the exams. He had made up all sorts of stories to get out of trouble but dint know that it would land her in a hot mess. "...for not helping your fellow classmate you suspended for a month as punishment"

The poor girl could not believe that. What will she tell her parents? How will she face them? She just kept quite the entire time and when the scolding was done she walked out of the room hating the face and everything related to him. Onediego had not done anything on purpose and he followed her to apologize but rejected on the face. "Am not interested in your apology...you're nothing but spoilt and a brat who takes advantage of the others situation right? Do you know something Ondiegeo Morris, I hate you" and she left him there still processing what he had been told.

That was the first girl that told him 'I hate you' and he also dint believe that it hurt him and he felt this time he really had messed up and should make it up to someone who was Lemayal. In class, he was not getting anything, constantly thinking of Lemayal. A surge of guilt caught up with him and he couldn't take it that he decided to do what he thought he never would.

"Hello Gina" He said sounding as polite as he could. She seeing who it was rolled her eyes and started walking away. "...please I need your help" Those last words stopped her and turned to him and said mockingly "The great Onediego Morris needs help...I thought your money was doing the talking" "I really do need that dose don't i? but I want you to help me get Lemayal back to class. It's my fault..." He was cut in "It's good to know it's your fault but you need to tell that to the teacher and your parents that's the only way you can help her otherwise just don't waste your time" He was silent for time and she stood there looking at her nails waiting for his response but seeing he won't say the truth mussed and turned to leave "I'll do it...I'll say the truth...but I need to talk to Lemayal please take me to her"

Lemayal was just seated in the room reading a book out of boredom then looked up and saw him standing there looking at her. "YOU!" She emphasized that word and stood up "What do you want? Haven't you done enough?" "Am sorry Lemayal...I don't deserve your forgiveness from the day we met I've been a jerk and now I'm willing to tell the truth to clear my name before you...you were supposed to help me in my studies and I took that for granted..." He paused and moved closer to her and continued "...let me make it right please" She was left utterly speechless and she not saying a word said "I'm waiting outside for you to decide" He went out and waited for two hours out in the scorching sun not even getting inside his car. Even he himself did not believe he would do that for a girl especially one he saw as some village girl months ago.

For the two hours, Lemayal had been watching him walking just around waiting for her. "You really should go with him...If not for yourself then for your parents" She changed into a pink dress and walked outside finding him seriously sweating and gave him some cold water to drink and said "Just because you are doing this doesn't mean I've forgiven you" "It's alright but I know how'll make you forgive me" He thought and smiled to himself while looking at her through the rear mirror and saw she was really beautiful and wandered why he had not noticed that before.

"You did what? When will you stop disappointing me One?" Onediego's mother was so angry with the new revelation that his son had said just seconds ago. "Ma'am please don't be angry with your son, actually am also to blame...I dint say anything before it is also my fault" Lemayal could not see anyone been yelled at by their parent that's why she intervened and took the blame partly but still felt that was not the case. "Since you two still broke the class rule you'll be suspended for a week...see you both in class next week" and they both walked out of the room still holding their breath and finally breathed out when the stepped out a few steps from the office.

"Thank you" He said "I should be the one saying thank you...at least I can breathe now...the one week is nothing compared with one month" He was really looking at her and she looked at him too and then some connection was formed but before any could speak they heard "One! we are leaving" Lemayal did not know that person but was present at that meeting. Onediego wanted to go join him but felt he should introduce himself properly to her. "By the way I hope from today we'll forget the past and move forward...and am One" He said and put forward his hand. "Sure why not...and am Lema" and she also put her hand forward and they shook it with a smile forming in their faces and under his breath he said "Damn she has a cute smile" and they parted ways.

"What's the matter with you? You let mom shout at you for that plain typical girl?" Klaus Onediego's elder brother said with gritted teeth. "Will you chill she is different and special and beautiful with a cute smile..."

Onediego's flashback got interrupted when Lemayal moved a little in her sleep and he looked at her still seeing her beauty and smiled to himself at how they used to fight from day one. He was also still saddened by her departure back home. She had been stationed to work for a year in her home town as a doctor and that was the only way for her to get employed elsewhere. He sure would miss her terribly especially after what happened between them that night. He only hoped things go out as they had planned.
