Entangled Hearts

Raven had been waiting for Siri, her best friend, who was 7 one year older than her, they were supposed to play dress up today.

She had been away for a couple of days. So, they haven't had any "girl time" as she calls it. People say they look like sisters but Raven doesn't see it, but they do act like sisters.

"Raven sweetheart Siri is here, come to the living room." Her mom said to her just as she was going to go to her room.

"I'm coming, mommy," Raven yell out as she ran down the stairs.

They played for hours until it was time for Siri and her parents to leave. That's when everything started to happen.

They heard people screaming, so they went downstairs to see what was going on. Raven wished they hadn't seen; what they saw was not pleasant. Pack members were laying on the floor in puddles of blood.

"RUN! GO RUN!" They heard from someone that was laying on the floor. He looked in a lot of pain, so Raven ran to him.

"Are you okay?" Raven asked him.

"Run and don't look back. We are being attacked by rogues. Now GO!" he told them.

Raven ran back to Siri and grabbed her hand, running out of the house.

What they saw when they got outside was a horror movie. People laid all over the back of the packhouse dead or close to dying.

Siri was frozen in place, so Raven had to pull her away to get them somewhere safe. Raven didn't see her mommy and daddy anywhere, so she ran into the forest.

She knew a place where they would be safe, mommy and daddy would find them there when this was over. They ran through the woods, making sure that rogues would not see them. They ran until they were close to the hideout that they had created for themselves.

"Where are we going? We need to help-" Siri kept asking Raven.

"No mommy and daddy would not like that. They told me if this were ever to happen to just go to my hideout where they could find me after everything was over." Raven told her.

"But we can't just let everyone die. WE HAVE TO HELP!" Siri said to Raven.

Raven was about to answer her when she heard voices, and her curiosity got the best of her, but it also got the best of Siri. They both ran to where the voices were coming from but made sure to stay hidden.

When they got to where the voices were coming from, they saw the alpha with their parents in front of a group of what looked like rouges.

One of the rogues had their pregnant Luna by her throat next to what looked like their leader.

The alpha looked very mad, so did Raven's dad and Siri's. Their moms were standing behind them and some other pack warriors that were with them. They all were scared they were going to lose their Luna as were Siri and Raven.

They had already hurt them so much why were they doing this? What did they want? No one was talking; they were just growling at each other and looked like they were ready to fight each other.

Of course, they were outnumbered because they had killed everyone else, Raven assumed. Her suspicion was made true when a man came out of the woods into the clearing from the other direction Siri and Raven were at.

"Everyone is dead, but we still can't find what we came for we have looked she is nowhere to be found." The men told the leader, but what caught her eye was the way alpha looked at Raven's daddy.

"She's safe; she would hide. They will never find her," Raven's mom whispered to her dad and alpha.

It looked like Raven's, but the alpha and their dads heard her. All Raven was thinking was who they were talking about where they were safe?

Raven hoped for their sake that they were because these people look mean. The rough leader looked mad at this point he told their alpha, "give us the girl, and what is left of this pathetic pack can live, and I will give you your Luna back."

The alpha growled and responded, "You will never get the girl; we don't even know where she is at. So how do you expect to find her? Now give me MY MATE back before I kill you."

The leader just laughed and then did something that they weren't expecting him to do.

He KILLED their Luna.

The alpha howled so loud that they had to cover their ears. He lost not only his mate but also his unborn pup. The roughs just laughed as they saw their pack feel the death of their Luna.

The leader then spoke up and said, "I warned you all this could have been avoided if you had just given me the girl. But you didn't listen, so now you lost your mate and Luna."

After he was done talking, the alpha got up and said, "You will NEVER get the girl, and you will pay for killing my mate."

When he was done, he launched himself towards the rogue leader and started to fight first in human form, and then they shifted into their wolves.

When both sides saw this, they took it as a sign to attack each other. Raven was scared, and it took a lot of strength not to run out there towards her mommy and daddy.

Siri grabbed her and held her like she knew what she was thinking. She was happy she was holding Raven but confused because she was the one that told her they had to help their pack and know she was the one holding her back.

They saw the whole fight, and at one point she had to hold Siri back all she heard her say was, "no mom dad no!!" and then she covered her mouth to stop a scream that was threatening to come out.

She had tears coming out of her eyes.

Raven looked at where she was looking, and she saw her mom and dad on the ground dead and two other wolves standing over them.

Raven didn't know what to say to her; she just says her mom and dad get killed.
