Star Lee was admitted into the most prestigious High school called GSCHS. The school happened to have a history with a strange man called "The Game Master" He usually appears from time to time in order to trick the students into playing games to their own peril. The students play the games happily and with great joy not knowing that "If you fail, you die"

CHAPTER 2
Tuesday dawned brightly, the morning brightness escaped the curtains of my room waking me up from sleep.
"It's morning baby" my mom called .
I quickly got up, brushed, took my bath, wore a nice long black skirt with a yellow top, ate noodles and headed for school.
"Oh wow, Jason is in school already" I said, then I realised all students were looking into their smàrt phones unlike yesterday, and many people were pointing at me, everyone was starring.
"Poor Star, wants the most handsome guy in school, maybe you should try again with the dirty rags you wear" said Ela
She was one of the most recognised students in the whole school, not because she was from a wealthy family, but because she was extremely brilliant although she lacked character, she was very mean.
I was startled by what was happening, everything got worse then I noticed Jason looking at me while shaking his head and then he left.
It wasn't a good look.
"May I have a look at your phone please?" I asked a boy who was standing beside me. I looked at it and got the greatest shock of my life. It was a picture of myself and Jason .
The incident while on detention as Jason bent to check my toes.
"What could he be thinking now? why don't they treat him the same way?" Star worried, I suspected Jasper because he was always rude to me. I decided to confront him , but I had to attend class first.

"Hey" I said to Jason, "good morning"
But got no reply, he gave me a bad look and focused on the teacher. I became quiet, I couldn't focus in class, I was troubled. After the class I picked up my bag and went to the art gallery immediately, just to be alone.
A girl was there, but she didn't leave, "at least it's just one person" I thought.
Just then I saw Jason through the window marching like a soldier. I became terrified instantly at the sight of Jason.
"Star!" He called walking into the art gallery and came straight to me.
"What is the meaning of this?" Showing the picture to me
"I know you planned this!"
"Jason I didn't..." I tried to explain but was interrupted by Jason.
" You planned it, and it's clear, why did the pain leave suddenly yesterday? Why did you have to disobey so you'll join me in detention? Can't you see I have been ignoring you? I don't love you ok? You know what you need now? Go to a store, get some self control and nice clothes for yourself lover girl!" Then he stumped out of the gallery.
I was still, my eyes were already dropping pool of tears, I cried bitterly.
"Hey" someone called, it was the girl who was also in the gallery, " that hurts, but your tears are too precious to drop because of rude people like him.."
"But I didn't do it.." I cried the more.
"Chill girl, to crush is normal but don't turn it into a business, improve girl, have your time, respect yourself and no one will look down on you. And remember you are beautiful, don't let anyone tell you otherwise"
Immediately I felt heavenly. The words from that girl made me calm.
" You've said the truth" I wiped off my tears.
"By the way I am Emily, same class with you"
"Oh wow, I've never noticed you. I am Star and thank you so much for your kind words" I said putting on a big smile
"It's nothing dear" said Emily smiling back at me.
I went to the bathroom, washed my face and took a deep breath. We returned to class for the next lesson, I paid strict attention this time around and asked alot of questions. I became bold and didn't act like I was sitting with Jason...
This was a different Star indeed.
School was over
I took a taxi home, showered, ate and did my assignments, adding it up with some reading.
"Oh wow I didn't know chemistry was this interesting" I said to myself. When it was a bit late I had a peaceful sleep.

The afternoon was a windy one, a bit cold, the best weather for a chemistry class.
"Good morning students" my Bryan greeted, " who can tell us something about our last topic"
Everyone was quiet, then I stood up...
"Last class we talked about Atomicity, which we said; Atomicity is the quality or state of being indivisible. It is also the number of atoms in a molecule and it is determined by adding the number of atoms present in a molecule, we went further to say........."
"Miss Star" called Mr Bryan," you have done well, have your seat" he said looking very impressed.
The students were wowed, especially Jason and Ella .
I sat down feeling pleased with myself, then turned to Emily who gave me a thumbs up and we both smiled.
"You are a genius" Jason said to me while smiling.
" Thanks" I replied, not paying any attention to him.
I resumed my job as a baby seater during the weekend at mr and Mrs Williams house. They had a set of twins and needed assistance. Very rich couples, I was paid a reasonable amount weekly.
So I decided to get some good clothes for myself and few make up kits.
"I am beautiful, I am brave, I am loved, I am a rose I am more"
I said that to myself as I stepped out of the store with my stuff, then I smiled widely.
From now on I will always look my best. Nobody can intimidate me anymore. My self esteem has risen and nothing will bring it down.
I will only focus on school and make my parents proud. Nothing can distract me, nothing, not even Jason.
Who does he even think he is? It's not like I'm a begger or something. Never would I go after him again. I encouraged myself.
