As they all walked in they stopped and I moved forward past the men to front where Brian was on his knees facing the lady and said" I am here mother, I will take you along with me". To that the lady smiled back even in her fatal state she was able to smile. Then Brian ordered to his bodyguards to carry the lady to his carry. Just as she was about to leave the room she looked back at me and Andrew who I didn't seem to notice was on the other side of the room scared to death. Then she looked at her son and said in a weak voice "Take them along". She said pointing toward s me and Andrew. She didn't need telling twice. As soon as she left 2 bodyguards got hold of Andrew and threw him back to the wall. I yelled " No please, he is just a child, he is only 14. Please leave him alone" I begged them. As soon as those words escaped my mouth, Brian who was standing there strode towards, in fear and was about to take a step back when he got hold my waist he pinched me so hard and yanked my hair ruthlessly. With that he let me go and threw me on the floor and ordered the guards to take me and Andrew to the basement of his house and lock us up with no food or water and left. Chapter 1 The Downfall
The rain was pouring heavily in Dameland. The atmosphere had grown more intense and scary than ever after the sudden news of Rookwood industries going bankrupt and their former CEO Rookwood fled from the city along with his few liquid assets that he had left leaving behind his children.
A lot has changed overnight. The prestigious Rookwood Industries has transformed into Morris industries. Along with their new CEO Brian Morris
Brian sat in his new office lighting a cigarette between his 2 fingers waiting impatiently for some news. He was known to have a cold and ruthless demeanour which everyone feared yet he was the most handsome man in the city and young with the age of 26 at most.
Suddenly his assistant Cole entered the office in a rush and looked into his Boss cold Black eyes and said In a cracking yet confident voice "Mr.Morris the Rookwood mansion is not protected now and it is the only place left to look for your mother. Their were several men standing and sitting there with guns in their hands and their bodyguards. Most of the men I recognised as my father's enemies whom my father showed extreme ruthlessness. Then their was Andrew being pinned to the ground by two muscular men who were holding him on gun point who was trying really hard not to cry and then their was the lady held in the same position as my brother was trying to break free from the clutches of the 2 men.
As soon as i entered all eyes turned towards me and the way they looked at me with lustful and revengeful eyes. I for sure knew they had no good thoughts about me. Then one man stood up whom I recognised as my father rival whom my father showed ruthlessness.
He walked towards me and yanked my hair which made me give away a high piercing scram and said in a voice full of revenge, lust, and immense hatred he said "Here you are Aria, we all have been waiting for you after all you know why we are here after that coward ran away. We all want our revenge in your form after all you are his beloved daughter whom he adores the most. So you will pay for his sins with yourself
Then he yanked my hair again and I bit my lip to stop from screaming and all the men in the room laughed except Andrew who was burning with rage and crying at the same time. Whereas the lady was looking at me and at the same time trying to break free from the clutches of the men to help me. And I couldn't ever be more grateful to her in all these years.
