He wishes to live a calm and quiet life after rejecting his werewolf nature, but his younger brother Vinn Danovich forces him to return to his previous life as a reckless werewolf. They'll both meet into Kahlua Sinclair, who mistakenly believes it's their ex-girlfriend. Jaques will attempt to conceal his identity as one of the remaining Danovich Werewolves, but Vinn will reveal his werewolf side, prompting the town council to act. As history repeats itself, will these big bad wolves survive?

Chapter 1 Reminiscing the Past

A long time ago, there was a village called San Diego that was the home to the one of the strongest werewolf bloodlines named Danovich. Since the 1600s, they have lived in and created the town of San Diego. They discovered a place to call home after being hounded by the hunters for years, but not until the other supernatural creatures and mortals arrived.

The Sinclaires and the Lemarque family were mortals who came through and made San Diego their home. Vasiliev Witches, who were fleeing witch trials, were the next to arrive. Finally, the Ivashkov Vampires arrived in town in search of a suitable residence.

These bloodlines' founding father makes a peace covenant with both mortals and magical entities. San Diego was builtand founded by these five families, each with their own set of monsters. Werewolves have the Danovich bloodline, witches have the Vasiliev bloodline, vampires have the Ivashkov bloodline, the Sinclaire Mortals, and the Lemarque family have the mortal blood. Everything is in working order. They are friends that do not desire anything because they are content with their current situation.

Werewolves and vampires don't feed on the mortals. And the mortals are friends with these creatures. It wasn't until the third generation of founders arrived that things began to change. The 3rd generation founders of Sinclaire and Lemarque desired power, so they declared war on the mortals and immortals. The mortals of Lemarque and Sinclair declared war on the werewolves. They began stalking and murdering them as though they have nothing in common.

Due to the ongoing mayhem, the werewolves were compelled to flee in order to maintain the bloodline, but they did not stop until the Danovich bloodline was extinguished. San Diego's werewolf bloodline vanished like dust at that time. For the sake of the family, some werewolves died, some hid, and others will return to exact retribution.

The problems didn't stop there. Following the fight between mortals and werewolves, a war between vampires and witches erupted. When Vasiliev was accused of killing an Ivashkov vampire, their feud began. That fight lasted 5 years, and many witches and vampires murdered as a result. The witches plotted with mortals to join forces with them. Vampires then vanished, never to be seen again.

All the power was taken by the mortals. Many people died, and the history of San Diego is still being rewritten by new rulers. The bloodshed in San Diego will never be forgotten or erased from history. The mortals thought they succeeded, but what they don't realize is that they are just getting started, because werewolves are back.

As he stepped out of his blue car, a refreshing air blew across his face. He took off his black sunglasses and looked across San Diego, which was growing. In the neighborhood, he noticed some lovely infrastructure. Restaurants, large buildings, and a large church are all present. In his day, none of these existed. And he was certain that he would be happy here.

"Welcome to San Diego," he said to himself as he got back into his car and drove back to his childhood home. The Danovich Mansion is already situated on a vast parcel of land that dates back to the Danovich family's first generation. He was enjoying himself while driving, could feel the pleasant wind in San Diego, and even gazed up at the gorgeous blue sky surrounded by soft clouds.

He was astonished to see a white woman arrive when he moved his sight to the front of the car. He slammed on the brakes and screamed the horn, startling it and causing the books she was holding to fall out of her hands.

"What the hell? Seriously?" exclaimed the woman, who was still irritated. Jaques exited his vehicle to assist the woman.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Jaques asked the woman as he helped her gather up her things that had fallen.

The woman threw him a sneer and a sidelong glance. "Do you think I'm all right? Besides, fuck this life!" the woman said as she rapidly handed over her belongings to the young man. Jaques simply stared at the girl's actions. He thinks it's a bad day for her, or she's in a bad mood since she's so rude towards him. She stared at it for a moment before walking away.

Jaques had barely returned to the car after being disturbed by her actions when he stomped on something under his shoe. He felt a hard object.

It was a school identification card when he looked at what he had walked on. And this is the girl's school ID that he nearly ran over. He grabbed it and looked for the woman, but she was nowhere to be seen.

He got into his car and checked the identification card: "Isabella Lemarque," he remarked as he read the name on the card. He came to a halt and released the identification card of the woman. He had no idea Lemarque was still alive until now, and he wasn't sure if his family had a position on the San Diego city council.

He rushed to the Danovich mansion in his car. While driving, he couldn't help but wonder whether it was proper for him to come here to start a new life or whether it was wrong because terrible people still ruled.

He didn't know how he was going to live, especially now that he was alone. He has no companion. Without his brother he was always with him no matter where he went.

Jaques simply sighed and closed his eyes as he leaned back in the plush seat of his car. He recalls his younger brother Vinn. He acknowledges that he misses him, but they can't be together and be together any longer.

After falling in love with the same woman, the young man changed. Penelope. They've separated themselves from each other since then, and they've been attempting to end each other's lives.

"I hope you don't bother me any more Vinn, and I hope you're happy without me," Jaques muttered, casting his eyes into the air. He took in the sight of the enormous blue home. This is their home. It was known as the Danovich residence. It's old, and there's a lot of filth and graffiti on the walls.

Jaques left the car and leaned into his vehicle. He sat with his arms folded. He hadn't even entered the home yet and was already exhausted. It was a large house that had been abandoned. Make sure the inside is filthy, but only the outside is filthy. What other way could it be inside? He was talking to himself.

When he heard crackles coming from the thick branches of grass inside their compound, he peered around. His brow furrowed in bewilderment. 'Who in their right mind would attempt to enter their compound? '

He made advantage of his werewolf instincts and actions. He scaled the high barrier and leapt over it safely. Jaques took his time walking through the long grass, following the scent of someone. To Jaques's nose, it was incredibly fragrant. He believes she hopped their fence simply by smelling it. Strawberry lace that isn't irritating to the nose.

"How is this can be opened!" yelled a woman as it was about to open the door, which Jaques heard almost as soon as he peered. He pushed the tall grass aside. His eyes widened in surprise and disbelief.

"Penelope?"
