Fated to be his

The rain poured heavily trenching Anna she ran straight home a black sack on her hand opening the door she ran to her mother who was covered with a blanket she was shivering all over with colds sweet allover her.

Anna lifted the blanket and made her mother sit up

"mom i brought your medicine"

she quickly ran to the kitchen to get a cup of water

"mother take your drugs" Anna helped her mother took her drug she put away the cup and drugs and helped her mom to lie down she was about to leave when she heard her mom voice

"Anna is your dad not home yet"

"mom stop talking about that man he is probably in one of those club gambling"

"mom why do you love a man that treats you bad that much "

"don't say that about your dad Anna"

"what is wrong with what i said all he does take the little money i have to gamble and cheat drinking himself to stupor"

"he will change Anna give him some time"

Anna sneered with tears brimming in her eyes

"dad made you like this mom he did this to you and i will never forgive him if anything happens to you" Anna said and ran out of the room closing the behind her.

Her mother loved her father so much but her father only played her. when she trusted him the most she gave everything to him her money, wealth, heart she gave him everything but her father never valued her after getting what he wanted from her he cheated on her this made her drove out with tears and she unfortunately had an accident.

even after this husbanded never showed up in the hospital not even once. all the money she had was gone and she could not go further in her treatment making her develop stroke.

even when this was happening the father never returned home he squandered every money her mother had labored so had for when he had nothing left he sold their house.

They had to move out of the house to a very poor house. Anna had to drop out of university as a medical student to take care of her mother she walked so hard to earn for she and her mother. But her father would at times beat her up and collect the money she worked so hard for Anna was helpless. she was trying to be Strong for her mother and for herself.

she always wish her father would leave one day and never return in her life or her mother's life ever again.

Anna phone rang she quickly ruched out of the bathroom and picked a phone

"hello Anna just called to check on you"

it was her bestie Bella

"thanks Bella"
